Read THE WOLF, the eighth book in the thrilling Mystery Babylon series, to find out!
Jamie Lee Grey is the author of numerous Christian novels, including the Band of Believers series, the Daughter of Babylon series, the Tribulation series and the Mystery Babylon series. She and her husband live in the northwestern United States.
Book 8 is a great continuance of this Mystery Babylon series. As end times get more difficult, people are becoming more desperate and the battle between good vrs evil is happening everywhere on earth. God's chosen are relying completely on Him and other believers for survival. I'm really looking forward to book 9.
This book was timely in my life. This series has been a last of my life for past few years . The hardest years of my life . Her Characters haven been intertwined in my life . This.one will keep.you up.at night .but the lack of sleep is well worth it .
Jamie Lee Grey has a hold on God's truth with people who feel very real and challenged to understand the times in which they exist. We are so challenged in in this, our current times. Our time of confrontation is soon upon us. Will we remember to pray with firm resolve and strength even until our own incarceration or death? Jamie Lee Grey pushes us to reexamine our walk with Jesus and realize that He is Lord of all hand we can fully trust Him.
In a way, this one in the series was a 'little' slow, but still very good.
I also wish it had more scriptures, however there were a number of prayers.
Also it was squeaky clean, a big plus!
I of course liked how it dealt with end times, seeing as we are living in them now.
Some of the situations ( tho we might not have exactly the same ones,)
Nevertheless, lead me to think about ( yet again) what would I do, if for example, I was wrongly accused of a crime? How would I spend my time in prison? etc. Could I use it as a chance to witness, if the opportunity presented itself, or would I be too concerned about how badly I was treated, and thus be self-centered, and selfish?
I LOVE this series! As I am writing this review, I am agonizing that I have to wait for the next one. I am completely invested in these characters and their lives. Sierra and Austin have so much ahead of them that should be joyous, but the world and life and humans just keeps getting in the way. Wu Ying is just a babe in Christ, but is growing well. I liked how the author used this character to have a discussion about aliens. Yes, the space kind. The take on this made me pause and think. And Madam President Orlova of Russia is fantastic as a character. How she managed to handle herself in this installment was amazing. My mama heart was breaking. I highly recommend this book, but suggest you start from the beginning. They do really need to be read in order. They are absolutely worth it. I know my Bible and know what’s coming next, but I can hardly wait to see where Ms. Grey goes with her vision.
This book measured up to up to rest of the series. Never dull moment and left me anxious to get the next book as soon as it comes out. I like the way it goes from one situation to another, following the three main characters. I especially like the Christian testimony throughout, but not getting preachy.
I should go to bed and I wish I had read slower, but this series is awesome. I guess my only regret is that I didn’t discover it until all the books were finished! I may read them all again.
This book had so many twists and turns and doesn't disappoint. I only wish that the glorious end is sure to come. Grey is a fantastic storyteller. Can't wait until the next book arrives.
This book hit the ground running and kept up that pace throughout. Surprised it ended so abruptly, but she did wrap it up so you're not left hanging. Nonetheless I am anxious to start the next book.
Not the best in this series. although a lot happens it just seems boring. Too little occurred in this book, too short. Time to wrap it up and move on to anew series
I like these dystopia novels based on the end times in the Bible! But the story keeps continuing, and I want to how it all ends! Now, I have to wait for her next book to come out!
