My Wife is Dying and It's Only Wednesday

Rate this book
How do you live a day to day life in the midst of a pandemic as your wife is dying? My wife Erika's Covid infection at a family Christmas dinner in 2020 was not what she asked for from Santa or anyone else. After a few days of coughs and headaches, things began to head down a road we never could have imagined.

The day I was told she would no longer be with us was a Wednesday, a day that will never be forgotten in our family history.

Hi! My name is Lauren, and this is my dad’s book!

This is our family’s true story, which includes new reflections, old ones, and interjections from family members (like me!). It may not be the prettiest or ‘happiest’ story, but it is a story of hope, perseverance, and finding the light at the end of the tunnel. I’m so proud of my dad, and I hope you can take some encouragement from our story.

Such a positive book for a difficult Covid struggle. Cary writes with honesty and clarity and invites us in to the battle, the victories, the setbacks. As a couple,a family and members of many communities their grace in accepting help and pursuing hope were absolutely winning. Enjoy this.
