3.5 Be a Good Girl and Beg For It Stars ⭐

Big Daddy is a steamy age gap novella about a big, buff gym owner and the sweet curvy yoga instructor who begin working together. For an overworked Ben, Sklyer is a perfect distraction. He is smitten from get go.

Admittedly this romance escalates quickly and within a few chapters these two have mastered naked yoga. For me I would have preferred for our hero to have been already aqauainted with daddy kink instead of having a light bulb moment during sex and declaring himself her daddy. It felt a little contrived.

“Do you want me to teach you , baby?” I ask, my voice deep and husky. “Do you want me to show you how good it can feel to have a cock inside you?”

All hot moments aside, the author does a great job sending out body positivity vibes with a healthy, body loving heroine. There certainly were no complaints from Ben. This was a quick read without too much drama. Although not my favourite by MS, she's one of the best for this trope.

Big Daddy is a quick steamy novella. Age-gap, Daddy Kink, that yes, I do recommend.

Ben, forty-one. Co-owns a gym with his sister and is a chronic workaholic. Sky, twenty. New yoga instructor for the gym. Both are instantly attracted to each other. When together, they are steamy.

They two together are a delicious treat. I felt that Sky was wise beyond her years, and Ben just went through the motions of his life until he met Sky. Kudos to the author for writing a curry heroine.

There are outside forces that cause some drama. No worries, no other women. More like an ex-best friend, Crystal (I love the name, lol), and her boyfriend.

Overall it’s a quick read that I did find enjoyable.

4.5 stars - A steamy read that had me looking forward to any and every kind of encounter these two shared, be it a simple meal or little conversations or how well Ben Gold really took care of Skyler, his Baby Bird.

I can’t recall ever having had that strong of a reaction to a woman I’ve only just met. Shaking Skyler’s hand was like touching a live wire — a shock to my whole system.

Their first time together was a bit of a stretch, but I found the rest to be very realistic. I love that Skye is confident and comfortable with who she is, and she finds herself standing up for herself and taking control of the situation. I also appreciate that Ben, ready to handle things, let her do what she needed to do.

Ben is a workaholic in the gym he co-owns with his sister and he gets to say ho to there new employe Sky. Who is the new yoga teacher! She's younger but he's sprung for her already but he doesn't do anything right away. It takes him maybe 1 days to finally say fudge it and talk to her. Getting her to open up about her life and wanting to take care of her. The chemistry is so delicious between them say teaches Ben many things about yoga, food and well being her daddy ;)

Sky does have some problems and it has to do with her ex friend scummy boyfriends who talks down to her and harasses her. The ex friend doesn't believe her and when she finds out the ex friend is Ben niece. Things get alittle messy. Ben does stand up for her when duoche niece boyfriend comes to bug her.

The gym bro energy was real- I was surprised the mc's name wasn't Chad or something.

I didn't really enjoy this one- it wasn't so much the writing but rather came down to personal preference. Once you've read so many of these smutty novellas, you find specific writing styles/ authors that work for you, and become used to them.

This one wasn't as OTT as I would've liked it to be, and developed in a way that just didn't work for me 🤷‍♀️.

You know what I love about Margot Scott the most? You know what you’re getting when you pick up her stories and she ain’t shy about giving it to you! *heart eyes* I’ve read a whole bunch of stories by this author; some I’ve loved and some maybe not so much but I have always known what I was getting between the pages.

Big Daddy delivered on all fronts it was supposed to, in my opinion. Ben was definitely big and was born to be someone’s daddy!! He was a natural at being Sky’s daddy and his temperament fit very well with the roll. Even tho Sky is half his age, you could not tell in her character. Their relationship evolved pretty quick, as they do in insta stories but I did not feel like it was lacking.

As always, Margot kept the sexy sexy as deliciously filthy as one can get, and I was here for all of it! My girlie parts really enjoyed this little nugget of a story LOL

I absolutely loved this story about Baby Bird and Daddy Ben! It's short, hot, entertaining and so sweet. Skyler is a junior in college who gets a new job as a yoga instructor. Daddy Ben owns the gym where she works. They meet and it was instant fireworks! Can they ever get past their age difference and insecurities?

"I thought I could keep my distance, but the longer I ignore my feelings for her, the stronger they grow, like a vine wrapping around my ribcage, holding my heart hostage."

Their story is beautiful. I love how Skyler is a bigger girl but she has no qualms about how beautiful she is. And man this was hot!

“You wrap around me so perfectly, like you were made for me, Baby Bird.” His voice is rough and a little shaky, like he’s holding himself back.
I lift my hips, taking his girthy cock even deeper. He gasps.
“Show me, Daddy,” I beg. “Show me that I was made to be yours.”

Just ok. Well written, lots of steam. I just didn’t like the heroine so it was hard to like the book. I didn’t like that she posted naked photos of herself on her blog for “positive body” representation. *eye roll* apparently the only way to encourage positive body image is to take naked pictures of yourself and post them online for the entire world to see!

Safe. Hero’s past isn’t mentioned except to imply hes been celibate for a while. Heroine is a virgin and belongs only to her hero. Minor unwanted OM drama and harassment. No ow. No cheating, sharing or abuse. HEA with epilogue years out.

Ben found what he didn't know he was missing in Skyler and well Skyler was just trying to live.
I guess it's true about the best things being the unexpected.

Skylar is rebuilding her life after losing her father last year, so when she applies to a local gym as a yoga instructor, she is overjoyed when she is offered the job especially as she has lived her life as a bigger girl, she wants to give other girls like her the confidence of trying something new. But things change when she meets Ben Gold the other owner of the gym and there is something electric between them from that moment on and it isn’t something she wants to fight, the more that he watches her the more she wants him. Its not until he drives her home that they can no longer fight the attraction. But with their relationship becoming deeper and her embracing Ben as her Daddy she begins to wonder how long they will be a secret for, will they ever be able to be a real couple and when his sister and niece find out will they support them, especially when his niece was once her friend. Is her dream of love ever before it started?

Ben Gold and his sister co-own Gold Standard Fitness and it has been so successful they have been looking for a second location and so far, they have all been below par, so he is back to focus on the gym much to his sister’s annoyance, Ben is a workaholic who has no interest in love or starting a family. At least he didn’t until he saw Skylar, she was everything that he never knew he wanted and her body confidence he finds himself drawn to in a way that he has never experienced before. But its not until the night that he drivees her home that he realizes that this woman is special and meant to be his baby bird, but what happens when everyone finds out will the love, he thought he had found fall apart, will his baby bird fly away or build a nest with him?

I loved this book; Skylar is exactly the type of heroine that I love she is confident and loves her body whereas Ben is the perfect possessive alpha male that we all crave in books like this, and I cannot wait to read more from Margot Scott. 5 super-hot * read

Def more sex, but too much use of "daddy" for my taste.

Ben (45, gym owner) meets the new aerobics instructor that his sister hired to work at the gym and falls insta for Skyler (19-ish, virgin, plus sized). There's some drama with Ben's niece and her boyfriend. Virginity is taken, LOTS of "daddy" used, HEA.

It was just ok for me. I did like there was a lot of sex, but I also wasn't invested in it. I couldn't get past the fact Daddy was nearly every other word.

I didn't connect as much with the MC's in this one as the previous one and the conflict was weak. But the author delivered a quick steamy read which is exactly what I was looking for.

Skyler is the new yoga instructor and apparently the rocker of Ben's world.

These two are absolutely explosive!!! They set off from the get go and I love it. It's amazing that they never stumble in the progression of their relationship.

And Skylar...she is a badaßß in her own right! Naked yoga blog posts and then that thing she does to that butthead Nate... PERFECTION!

And it wouldn't be a Margot book without the HEAT!!!! The things that Daddy does to his Baby Bird 🔥🔥🔥 SIGN ME UP!

ARC Review - I absolutely LOVE everything Margot Scott writes. The first book I read by her was WARD and I have tried to read every book of hers since then. She is my go to for everything Daddy Dom related. Ben and Skyler’s story is so good! I also LOVE all of her plus sized or curvy characters and how much the men in their lives make them feel beautiful. There aren’t many books that do curvy women justice, but Margot does for sure. Ben can be my daddy any day.

Ben is a 41 year old co-owner of a gym with his sister. He is very disciplined in his life and some would say he's the definition of a workaholic. Ben is focused on expanding their gym and doesn't have time for his personal life. Until Skyler walks into his life. Skyler is a 21 year old college student who is the new yoga teacher at his gym. Ben is completely taken by her from the moment he sees her and he can't stop thinking about her. Little does he know she's feeling the same way. When they finally come together, sparks fly and they learn that every baby bird needs a Daddy in their life.

Good God I'm in love with this novella. It gave me everything I wanted with the spice, a strong heroine, and a great relationship dynamic. I adore Skyler so much. She's a confident plus sized woman who isn't afraid to stand up for herself. Skyler knows her body is beautiful no matter what and is she's dedicated to helping others love their bodies. She didn't shy away from being with Ben and knew what she wanted. I loved their connection and how well they complimented one another.

The spice in this really did something to me. The Daddy kink mixed so well with the praise that Ben gave Skyler. There's just something about the way he dirty talked that had me melting 🥵 Ben is absolutely obsessed with everything about Skyler and he worshipped every inch of her body.

I loved that the women in this series are bigger and so confident in their size!

Yes, there is a bit of potential trigger for fat shaming from supporting characters. Since this one is set in a gym there is more talk about healthy eating and such. But she’s a freaking yoga instructor to takes sexy pics of herself to ensure that women who look like her can be confident doing yoga. Nothing about it is ‘I’m going on a diet’, it’s ‘I eat well, but I enjoy everything I eat’.

If a secondary character fat shaming the heroine is going to bother you, or if the fact that the fat heroine (I use that as a term of endearment not a dig…if you want to talk more about my feelings on verbiage for fat girls like me, just add a comment) openly discusses her meals and her nutrition degree then give this book a pass. I know that most of the time I’m happier if size is just understood as sexy and not justified in any way. But I’m a massive Margot fan and I think she handled this well.

There’s also an incredibly hot moment when he finds out that she’s still holding a certain card and instead of one of the many crappy reactions we tend to see from romance heroes he takes the cake by asking if she wants him to teach her. 🔥🔥🔥

Basically, I love this story. I love this couple. I also really love Margot’s writing style! The Daddy aspect does get intense fast, but that’s typical for her and should be expected given the title and blurb.
Overall, five stars, just under four chili peppers, highly recommend!

My thoughts and feelings toward Skyler are ridiculously inappropriate - never mind the fact that she's my niece's age, young enough to be my daughters. I'm her boss. I shouldn't be thinking about my employee in ways that make my pants tighten and my head light.

The tropes in this book are obvious and stereotypical, but that's exactly what you expect when opening a book called Big Daddy. I'm a sucker for a well written big-shouldered size difference so don't think this is a complaint! The little bit of plot woven around the characters with Ben's niece Crystal and Skye's fallen-out friendship felt annoying at first but actually gave the book a little surprise depth.

What I did love about this book was the heroines body positivity and how she shared naked yoga photos to promote that! While she didn't actually read as anything other than perfectly shaped, it was a nice thought. I would've liked reading about more photos Skye and Ben took for the blog and what fun positions they could come up with.

I’ve been working my way through these novellas and this one was just okay. Skylar is a yoga instructor at a gym that Ben owns. From the moment he met her he started to fall in love with her. I loved the drama with Skylar’s friends boyfriend that was a fun little drama filled surprise. Ben called her “Baby Bird” and that annoyed the shit out of me. I also feel like these books mention “Daddy” WAYYYYY too many times. If this were a full length novel I don’t think I would have been able to handle it. It was a short, decent novella.

This was a fun age gap romance. Characters were good and the plot had plenty of interests and drama. I didn't mind the "daddy" part but it felt like every other word out of Skye's mouth when they were together was daddy. The baby bird nickname was a little strange, too. Still a good story overall.

I’ve read every single Margot Scott book, and this is without a doubt the hottest novella with the best/most dirty talk 🔥🔥🔥 And there is no slow-burn here y’all. Nuh uh. The plus-size h may be young (junior year of college), but she has a strong character and confidence. And the H, a giant of a man with the body of a god at 40yo, just melts for her. 5 🌶🌶🌶🌶🌶 Y’all, it was so good.

This installment in the stand alone series was a bit more cheesy and kinda cringey than the first. I still loved the fat that there wasn’t any heavy and unnecessary cussing. The spice was there in theory but it wasn’t in your face. The author wrote a tantalizing plot but I felt like it was extremely rushed in parts of it and the story’s timeline didn’t flow as smoothly as the first book did. It was still interesting but wasn’t the author’s best work in my opinion.

Omg, this book completely surprised me. I love everything about this story between Ben and Skyler. It takes courage, strength and confidence to put yourself out in the open especially the way Skyler choose. I absolutely love her attitude in putting Nate in his place and also the way she handles her ex-/friend Crystal. Most of al I love that Ben truly saw Skyler for the woman she is and allows her to fight her battles. I also loves the how he supports her decisions in her life and opening up to try new things . Above all I adore Ben and Skyler’s relationship and communication they share with each other.
