I confess I've had a love affaire with vampires for several years now, especially warrior vampires, the kind found in the books of Sherrilyn Kenyon, Lara Adrian and JR Ward. Though I've been published in Regency Romance under the pseudonym Valerie King--and yes one of my Regency Novellas features a vampire--one day I woke up knowing I had to create my own contemporary world of the warrior vampire.
For some mystical, magical reason, early in the process, my vampires appeared with enormous beautiful wings and it has been the most amazing experience to include flight in my novels, in both battle scenes and scenes involving spectacle. My special vampire world, published by St. Martin's Press, is introduced in the first book called, ASCENSION (12-28-2010). The second book, BURNING SKIES (May of 2011), opens up the world a little bit more. And even as I write this, I'm on the final draft of my third novel, WINGS OF FIRE (September of 2011). What a thrill it has been to live with my ascended vampires through the creation of this extraordinary, multi-dimensional world!
For more information about my unique take on the vampire mythos, check out my website at carisroane.com and my book release video on YouTube by putting in the search phrase, Caris Roane Ascension.
With every hope you'll enjoy reading my books set in the World of Ascension, All my best, Caris Roane
The story was unbelievably well done! The plot will have you intrigued and will most certainly capture your attention. This story starts off with a bang and ends with one! You won't want to miss out on this read!
There is no instant-love which is amazing for this read but the H/h chemistry just keeps on slowly building. You never get bored from this which is excellent!
When your boring life is uprooted you are bound to be in for the ride of your life! In this novel, Ms Roane, brings that and so much more!
You become introduced to this universe so well you just become that much more intrigued by the minute.
I will definitely be re-reading this in the future and be checking out the rest in the series! Although this novel can be read as a standalone I personally believe this was the perfect introduction to the series!

Savage Chains by Caris Roane is the first book that I had read from this author. When I saw this book on Netgalley, I will admit I was first drawn to the cover and title. And when I read the blurb, I was further intrigued with the story line of an undercover vampire and a woman who is drawn to this vampire who opened up her eyes on a whole new world.
Once in awhile I love to read a good PNR book and Savage Chains was one of those paranormal romance books that I enjoyed reading. It was filled with grit, suspense, darkness, and love. Brogan Reyes is a vampire on a mission. And that mission is to shut down the biggest sex slave organization in the vampire world. Reyes only has one thing on his mind and he doesn't need any distractions. But unfortunately for him, when Angelica, a woman who was lusting for him is kidnapped and auctioned off in a sex trade, he didn't expect this spitfire of a woman to make him see that he is capable of love. So will Brogran be able to take down this organization or will he get distracted by Angelica?
Savage Chains was indeed a dark gritty suspenseful BDSM paranormal romance that will keep readers engaged. After reading this book, I look forward to reading future works from this author.

A while back I read and reviewed Unchained, the last book in the Men in Chains original series.. I must admit, I was a bit disappointed. Enough that when I saw Savage Chains up on Netgalley, I almost skipped it. But face it, it's a Caris Roane book and I really like her style. I am so glad I read it because this one was really worth the read.
Taking place in the Men in Chains world but very little (read that as almost none) interaction between the characters in this book and the rest of the series.. Actually only two people.. well only one and the other was mentioned.. And I guess the big "evil" from the other books was mentioned as well. But that was it. Normally I would be kicking and screaming about this but this time? It was perfect..
Angelica is living a perfectly normal life, rather boring.. Go to work, take care of her ailing mother, sleep, wake up and repeat. Deciding to break out a little, live a little she decides she is going to hit on the gorgeous man who seems to frequent a local bar. Unfortunately she is turned down flat, embarrassingly so and is sent home like a good little girl. Instead of listening Angela considers returning to the bar and telling him off, except she is kidnapped instead. Removed to place she can not even begin to fathom, Angelica is held for auction as a sex slave.
Reyes is dangerous and sexy and posing as a slaver. He has spent years, decades even moving his way up the Slaver hierarchy the last thing he needs is the sexy human Angelica interfering. Thinking his brush off saved her life, Reyes returns to his world and his mission to destroy the Vampire slavers. Only to discover that Angelica is the top attraction at the auction.
What I adore about Caris is she write interesting Vampires. They aren't pretend Vamps.. or "others" that are thought to be vampires, they really are vampires. But they are different as well. They don't follow the traditional vampire with a sire and all that.. nope they are a community, a culture, they are just like humans, only different *Grins*. And while I didn't enjoy Unchained, I did really appreciate her world building. With that world in place, Caris is able to tell a deliciously dark story amidst the caves and caverns of the world.
Just well done!

I'm so glad I found this series. I really like it. The main characters are strong and passionate. The plot is oftentimes disturbing, but is also interesting, suspenseful, and hot. I liked Reyes and Angelica together. Great chemistry. HEA.
Picky Continuity Error: At the beginning of the book, Reyes tells us that he has tattoos on his back and upper right arm. Later in the story, Angelica admires the tattoos on his back and left arm.
What an amazing Vampire read !!! I loved the storyline it is graphic and edgy 🖤🦇🩸
Reyes has a mission to bring down a sex slave ring in the vampire world Angelica a human is up for auction to be a slave Reyes and Angelica know each other and Reyes is shocked to see Angelica up for auction He will purchase her no matter the cost They forge an pact to bring down the sex slave ring together
I liked Caris Roane's Ascension series and then I saw that she had this series, so I gave Book 1 (Born in Chains) a try and I really liked that one too. Then I read Book 2 (Chains of Darkness) and I just couldn't get into it. When I saw that this book was a combination of 3 novellas, I was intrigued and knew I had to give this series another chance.
Angelica was an amazing character. I liked her in the beginning because she saw what she wanted and went after it. She wanted to break out of her boring old routine as an accountant with no life and she'd seen this incredible guy before. So she went to a bar that he frequented so she can approach him and see if he's interested. I loved how she was ballsy but it was a little bit cute because her ballsiness sort of came out of desperation. That sounds mean but it was really endearing and it gave me a lot of respect for her. Then, in the middle of the book, I didn't like her so much. What's funny is that the ballsiness that I liked in the beginning is what I didn't like so much here. Angelica is kidnapped and during her captivity, she continually fights back against her captors. Usually, that's a good thing but the people who have taken her are awful and extremely depraved and she would have been doing herself a huge favor if she had acted meek and hopeless. And she continues to not see or maybe even ignore the value of appearing weak in front of the sickos she's in the midst of which just makes things tougher for her! Her actions pissed me off but you know, I still had to like and respect her for it! That's just who she is and it was impressive for her to stick to her guns through all of her ordeals.
Reyes was a great hero and a complicated guy. I really liked him. He was captured as a young man and was kept as a slave for a long time. He eventually escaped and has since made it his life's mission to put an end to the barbaric slave trade. I loved his devotion to this goal even though he had a rough time getting to the point he is in the story. Since he's posing as a slaver (one who purchases slaves), he's had to do things that he hates and he's had to do them to people who are in the same position he was in, years ago. It was great that he was still able to be a decent man considering his horrible past. He could have become just as horrible as the people he's trying to bring down but he's somehow been able to retain his compassion which was impressive. But Reyes isn't invulnerable and to be totally honest, I'm not sure how much I liked seeing him lose his shit. I mean, it was interesting to see him in those weak moments because it feels like that's not something I see a lot of - heroes being vulnerable. But it was at least a little bit emasculating because he would go into some kind of catatonic state and wouldn't be able to react to what was going on around him, which could have been really bad for him AND Angelica. So he almost put her in danger in that way, which was not all that heroic. I hate to complain about it though because it really helped me to understand how truly awful his captivity was and how much it still affects him.
Angelica and Reyes were super hot together. I liked how Angelica had made the first move at the start of the book and wouldn't be deterred even after being rebuffed a little harshly by Reyes. It was cool how later, he's remembering that encounter and how he didn't want to rebuff her, but how he wanted to take her home with him! And THEN, it was nerve wracking to have them be really into each other but to have to pretend they were master and slave to maintain Reyes's cover. I'm not sure how good they were at it (Angelica was awful) but it fooled that bad guys long enough and that's what mattered. I think the part that I liked the most about them together was that they could communicate telepathically. What made it so great was that Angelica would sense how things were affecting Reyes and she'd tease or joke with him to help ease his mind a little. It was funny and sweet and it really showed what a great heroine Angelica was and how good they were together.
I would recommend this book to paranormal romance fans but I would caution anyone interested in this book about the possible difficult subject matter. The book is about a group that deals in human trafficking and sex slavery, which is unpalatable at best. But don't worry - there's plenty of consensual Sexy Time and its very hot. There's a decent amount of suspense, especially as the story progresses and I wanted to find out the identity of the big boss man! I had a good idea of who I thought it was but I was never sure. Although this is part of a series, I think this book totally works well as a stand alone. But it certainly is not a quick read at over 350 pages! I definitely enjoyed this book and was glad I took the time to read it.
Caris Roane's Savage Chains novellas, Captured, Scarred and Shattered, all come together in one volume, aptly named, Savage Chains. Readers who are looking for a complex vampire world that involves art, culture and even a bit of sex slavery will find this one gritty, raw and emotionally charged. Roane's attention to detail is unmatched and the world building in this one is intricate and well thought out. A very elaborate and satisfying compilation of Roane's Savage Chain's novellas!
I have read a few Caris Roane books before and have never been disappointed by this author's command of the page. Her books are usually filled with multi-faceted and engaging characters, details that make the reader feel like they are part of the story, and world building that is fascinating. I wasn't sure that the compilation of three novellas would carry the same punch that I normally get from this author. I always feel like I want more from the story with a novella, but I will have to say that Roane did this novella series proud. Savage Chains is basically a novel in three parts. Though each was originally a separate novella, they flow seamlessly in this book.
Reyes, the hero has gone through some rough stuff in his past, including being a sex slave for a century. That gives him the drive to bring down a sex slave ring within his vampire world. Now, I don't know about you, but that's a concept I have never even thought of when it comes to vampires before. I read a lot of paranormal fiction and I think that's the first time I've really seen this sort of thing. A very original and captivating idea. It sets up the concept that vampires have the same sort of problems in their societies that you might find in the human world. Great idea!
I liked Reyes very much. He comes off as a tattooed, bad boy and he is, but he also has a heart. He shows a lot of vulnerability and passion. He was the kind of character that you would expect to go into every single thing he does with vigor and strength. He fights hard and he loves hard. I think that passion carries over into not only his love life, but into his soul. Now that's some good character development in my opinion. Roane develops this character so precisely that readers feel like they know him inside and out.
Angelica, the heroine was also drawn indepth. she was a firecracker. She was smart, resourceful and full of zeal. I liked her from the first page. She wanted more than just her mundane life and thought she might have found the excitement she craved by taking Reyes home. When he doesn't seem to share her feelings she is left confused and hurt. Unfortunately she gets the thrills she wants in life in a bad way. She is taken prisoner and about to be sold as a sex slave. Roane gives readers a woman, who wants more and more than she bargained for. Angelica and Reyes together make a very passionate and strong lead couple.
Bottom Line:
Great concept for a novel. The world building is amazing. The detail to which Roane goes to make her vampire society realistic is simply incredible. A lot of authors write paranormal fiction, but Roane writes it in such a way that the reader feels like they know these characters, that they share in their struggles and triumphs. It was a great book, with fiery lead couple and some sexual tension. This is a hot one, you might need a cold drink... or two!
I absolutely loved Savage Chains! It just doesn't get any sexier than a smoking hot, tattooed vampire and the woman that teaches him how to love. Let's just say that even though this was my first Caris Roane book it definitely won't be my last!
Angelica is a woman on a mission. She's tired of the rut that she's created for herself and has decided that it's time she take matters into her own hands... Her plan? To bring home the man that she has been lusting after for months.
Reyes is a man on a mission. After escaping from sex slavery he decided to infiltrate the sex slave ring and destroy it. He doesn't have time for distractions and Angelica is a huge distraction.
Unfortunately after Reyes turns Angelica and her tempting offer down, she's abducted by the very same sex slave ring that Reyes has just become a part of. What happens when Reyes finds out that Angelica is next up on the auction block? And how does Angelica feel when she realizes that the man she's been lusting after isn't really who she thought he was? Well, I can't tell you that... But let me tell you this, Savage Chains will take you on a ride you won't want to get off of!
Angelica is a spitfire and I loved her! Even after her abduction and imprisonment, she still refuses to submit. And when she learns of Reyes' intentions, she offers herself up completely selflessly for the greater good. Seriously, I couldn't get enough of this chick! Sure, she had her weak moments, but who wouldn't in her situation?!
And Reyes... Gorgeous, vulnerable, Reyes. I went into this expecting Reyes to be this badass alpha vampire and yes, he was badass in his own right but he was also so vulnerable and I couldn't help but develop a huge soft spot for him. When he first brought Angelica home, I wasn't really sure what to expect, but after he opened up to her I just couldn't wait to see where it would lead.
Now I'm not gonna lie, there were definitely times when I wish Reyes would just grow a pair and handle the situation, but luckily Angelica was there to pull them through. Which beings me to their relationship... I really enjoyed watching their relationship bloom. It started off tentative, which totally makes sense given the situation, but they both came out so much stronger in the end. And the smoking hot sex scenes?! Whew... You'll definitely want to keep a fan and a change of panties handy!
My only complaint would be the lack of an epilogue, which is really just me being greedy and wanting more. Angelica had an adorable vision at the end that I would have loved to have seen more of but I'm definitely satisfied with where it left off.
Now I can't wait to get my hands on the rest of the books in this series!

Brogan Reyes is on a one-vampire mission to put a permanent stop to the sex slavery ring known as the Starlin Group. He's been working for years to build his reputation and his financial status as a slaver worthy enough to be invited to the group. Nothing sickens him more than to see how the slaves are abducted, tortured, raped, and then sold to the highest bidder only to suffer even worse treatment. For a vampire like him to have endured and survived is one thing; it's the human slaves that have expiry dates because they simply aren't equipped to sustain such brutality in every single way imaginable.
When he finally gains access to the group and attends his first auction, everything appears to be going to plan...until he comes across one of the humans up for bidding: a young woman named Angelica. He knows who she is, having noticed her countless times before in the human world. Her feisty nature merely encourages the sadistic bidders to up the ante and Reyes shocks everyone, himself included, when he buys her for five million dollars. Now, Reyes is forced to alter his plans, knowing that if his cover is blown, he may end up losing his one chance to take Starlin down, but it may cost him the woman he loves.
Be aware that this title is a compilation of three novellas: Savage Chains: Captured, Savage Chains: Scarred, and Savage Chains: Shattered. I've never read the three separate novellas so I can't really compare but Savage Chains read very well as a standalone and provides fans of the Men in Chains series a better understanding of the sex slavery trade in the vampire world, an ongoing story arc throughout the three novels. If you've never read any of the three books in the series (though I highly recommend that you do), you can go into Savage Chains without having to worry that you're missing anything.
This compilation falls between the first and second books but none of the Briggs brothers are part of this story. I liked the chemistry between Brogan Reyes and Angelica (whose last name was never mentioned in the story) and I enjoyed having a strong heroine matched up with a hero like Reyes. I do need to point out that there may be triggers in this book, since rape, torture, and abuse are a running theme, so please be aware before you decide to read it. Now, if you're a trigger-free reader, I recommend you check Savage Chains by Caris Roane out and be prepared for a dark, original, and fantastic read. 4.5 stars, rounded off to five stars for Goodreads! ♥
I received this book in exchange for an honest opinion.
Angelica was an accountant who spent a great amount of time working due to her mother's medical bills from illness. She wanted a life, she wanted Brogan Reyes. She had seen him at a club she went to sometimes.
One night she went to the club and when Brogan came in she approached him. She wanted to have a drink with him, talk to him. He basically told her she was a gold digger because he had money. He told her to leave if she knew what was good for her. She did but kissed him first.
She went out to her car and then got angry at what he had said to her. She went to go back in and was abducted by 2 men and a cloth with chloroform on it. She would find out after that she was abducted to be sold as a sex slave in the vampire world.
Brogan, a vampire, said those things to her to make her leave because he knew Starlin was watching her. She was beautiful and feisty and the slavers would love to try and break her spirit. He had been working for several centuries to try and bring down Starlin. As a 15 year old, he had been abducted and made a sex slave for 2 centuries before his escape. He would find out a few days later that she didn't leave the club as he thought.
At a slave auction Reyes is speaking with Engels who is aligned with Scorpion. Scorpion is the reputed leader of Starlin. Engels is particularly sadistic and slimy, he even gave me the shivers a couple of times. Engels tells Reyes that they have quite a group of slaves to auction off but the last one is his, giving Reyes a warning. Need I say that the last woman is Angelica? Reyes cannot let her get sold to Engels and outbids him. He had not made a new friend.....
At first he tries to scare Angelica and when that doesn't work he tells her what is going on and what he is trying to do. She agrees to help him that night but this is only the beginning for them.
I tried to really like this book but it just seemed so farfetched. Angelica accepted the vampire world very easily and volunteered for some terrifying things. I liked the characters of Reyes and Angelica, they were strong people who had a good sense of right and wrong. As a matter of fact, I felt all the characters were written well, it was just the story itself.
There are a few more books in the Savage Chains line but I can't honestly say I would take a chance and read them. The cover was hot though, I thought it was awesome
Good Read, Good Characters **I received an ARC of this story in exchange for an honest review**Angelica leads a very normal life. She's an accountant, takes care of her mother, and basically sticks to a routine. It's been a long time since she's had ANY kind of relationship with a man. There's one man that she's had an eye on for a long time: Reyes, a mysterious man that goes to the same club she sometimes frequents. One night, she decides to throw caution to the wind and give him an offer she doesn't want him to refuse. When he does, she decides to leave. As she's getting to her car, she's kidnapped. Reyes really wants Angelica too. However, he knows she has no place in his twisted life as he fights to bring down a huge vampire sex-slave ring. When he finally gets the IN he was working for, he attends his first slave auction and finds that Angelica is up for bids. He can't help but win her even if it costs him his cover. Now that he has her, he must convince her to help him on his mission. When she agrees, her being there becomes much more than just about a mission.Because of his years as a sex-slave, Reyes is on a lifelong mission to end all slave rings. Above that, he has no real ties. Somehow, Angelica is one that has wiggled enough that he starts to think about more than just his mission. At the beginning of this book. Reyes is still just as scarred as when he was a slave. Throughout the book he is able to start healing through Angelica's determination to help him at the cost of her heart. I really liked Angelica. She's very determined to do what has to be done, even in situations where she's way over her head with vampires and is not only saving herself but Reyes too. There were definitely some hawt scenes between these two.I really enjoyed this book. The main theme of sex-slavery (albeit without vampires) is a real horror in today's world so it's interesting to read stories around them. I definitely recommend this book. Not really for the faint of heart.
It is the first time I've from the author and I do so love this book. The story start with the heroine Angelica in a club tried to seduce Reyes, whom she believes is her one. Reyer, a vampire with a mission to tried to bring down a slaver sex-ring founded by a notorious vampire called the scorpion. With his past as one of the slave, he is determined to wreak vengeance and Angelica is a complication he doesn't want. Fate intervened when Angelica is kidnap by the organization, and it is up to Reyes to help her. Can he complete his mission or will her present subdue his passion for vengeance? First and foremost, I love both the main characters, Reyes is overall alpha male, protective and possessive man. His chemistry with Angelica is off the chart and she gives as it goes. I love the heroine, she is strong and reliable in order for Reyes to complete his mission (as sometime he is a bit PTSD) as his past haunt him. Together they made a great team in bringing down the bad guys!! In my opinion the paranormal backstory is irrelevant, the plot and characters itself is well written but as it is a PNR story I guess it is ok. I love the characters, i just didn't care if it is human or non-human, a great book overall by the author, well recommended.
A great paranormal romantic suspense story with elements of BDSM interwoven into the plot. Savage Chains gives another perspective into the often written vampire world. The male hero, Reyes, a born vampire who was a sexual slave for a century but managed to escape has now become one of the most ruthless player in the world he despises. He does this to bring down the system that has tortured him and countless others both vampires and humans and what better way to infiltrate the upper ranks than to become one of them, if only on a superficial level. What he doesn't count on is the one human female that has become something more to him to derail his plans. Angelica has always been attracted to Reyes, believing him a good guy. To find out that he is part of the world she has been abducted into has change her perspective of him. But lust and attraction are powerful things and Angelica is beginning to think she can't deny him anything. Savage Chains drags the readers into a world of subjugation and slavery, where every sexual urge has been perverted to suit the powerful few, only Reyes and Angelica can stop this world order from going on longer. Greatly written with a lot of twists and turns, good character development although plot wise the ending seemed a bit anticlimactic. Nevertheless this story is entertaining and engaging.
This book takes place in the “Men In Chains” world but there is very little to none at all interaction with the characters from those books. This is just a very nice bonus to that series. This is a compilation of three novellas: Savage Chains: Captured,Savage Chains: Scarred, and Savage Chains: Shattered. This falls between the first and second book in the series Men In Chains.
I haven’t read any of the Men In Chains books so I have nothing to go on to compare it to those.
Angelica decides to hit on a man she sees at a local bar a lot. She wants to break out of her normal and live some. When he turns her down flat she decides to return and stand up for herself and along the way she is kidnapped and heading for sex slavery.
Brogan has spent years building himself up enough to be invited into the group who buys the sex slaves. He is on a mission to put an end to it. Everything is going according to plan till he ends up at the auction with Angelica up for bid.
Caris is a very good writer and builds her world of vampires beautifully. I recommend anyone who likes paranormal romance books to give this one a chance. There are a few “taboo” subject matters in this so heads up if you are sensitive to that. Although this is part of a series it can be a stand alone.
Brogan Reyes is a man that not many people know about. They all speculate but Angelica only sees a man she wants to spend the night with. However Angelica doesn't and can't understand what type of man Reyes really is and why he keeps coming to the club.
This book is interesting. You have vampires, a man on a mission to exact revenge on not just the person who almost destroyed him but the slavers who are still currently stealing and killing people.
This isn't just about being slavers and masters, but how something as simple as being chained can have different meanings depending upon who is with you and doing it.
We also get more about Starlin and Scorpion. Which is always interesting. Plus more hot scenes between Reyes and Angelica.
Reyes and Angelica are about to preform for Sweet Dove. Of course we all know it can't go as planned and Sweet Dove isnt' going to keep her word. As we go further we get more hot sex, sweet love making, Reyes splitting himself in two, and a few other surprises. It was a good book.
Vampires seem to have a naturally dark aurora. Caris Roane has added a layer of depravity with this installment of the Men in Chains series. Reyes spent a century of his life as a sex slave and swore an oath to himself that he would do everything in his power to bring an end to the practice. He has spent decades working on his cover as a slaver hoping to get the attention of the Starlin group, a major organization of sex traffickers. Everything is going according to plan until Angelica enters to picture. They are both attracted to each other but Reyes rebuffs her attention in an effort to stay focused on his mission and to avoid the Starlin Group notices Angelica since she perfectly fits their ‘type’. Little does he know that it’s already too late and before either of them realizes what’s happening, Angelica is kidnapped and being sold as a sex slave. Caris Roane has written two very likeable main characters and two heinous villains. Savage Chains is an in-between installment of the Men in Chains series. However, for readers who are new to the series, this is a standalone book.
Reyes and Angelica meet under extreme circumstances. The plot in this book is very well thought out and executed. The intricacies don't get lost from book to book. Reyes is a good man, forced to do things that go against what he believes but will lead him to destroy an organization that harms the defenseless. He is a champion with much internal conflict. Angelica is in a position to help but will place herself in a dangerous situation in doing so. Love develops and reading its transition is a great experience. Don't think that you miss any absolute scorching hot chemistry along the way either. Looking forward to more!
Copy courtesy of Netgalley HEA I haven't read a lot of paranormal lately. This story started off great and I enjoyed the whole undercover concept. Some of it was predictable. I didn't love it but I didn't hate it either. The characters were ok. Even those Reyes was supposed to be the one in charge, it seemed like Angelica was running the show. He is supposed to be the big bad vampire, but he didn't live up the the description from the first sight of him. The romance between the two was secondary. It is hard to really get romantic in the undercover scene they found themselves involved it. Just ok for me.
This book was great. I was so glad to read this book. It is defiantly a book with a dark side. Also has lots of twists and turns. This book is part of the series Men in Chains. It does not have to be read with that series though this book can stand alone. I just loved to see the intensity of the characters. Also watching them grow and fall in love. If you love dark erotic books this book is for you
Received from NetGalley Angelica is kidnapped and sold for sex slavery. Reyes is a vampire undercover trying to take down the sex slave business. But Reyes must prove that he is as twisted as the rest of them. Reyes was kept for centuries as a sex slave until he escaped. This is a very dark story. Contains rape, beatings, and some sick vamps.
Fantastic book! Loved how descriptive the vampire world was. The chemistry was off the charts between Angelica and Reyes . Was part of a series but could be read as a stand alone. Lots of action. Sex was awesome too!
I love this book. Hopefully the author will write more about The Guardians of Ascensions or Men Chains series. I'm taking my time of reading this one cuz I really love the story line and plot line
Not very good. The author has little respect for her readers; we're paying attention. The text isn'the so complicated to require constant explanation. A little romance novel-y.
