My M.C. Runaway is the 8th book in the De Luca Mafia series by the incredible author Anneke Boshoff.
Devon has always has a soft spot in my heart, I loved him from the first book itself, the sweet, loyal, amazing character, an incredible little brother and the perfect companion to Angelo.
He meets Dante who we know very little about from the previous books but still loved him, the protector to Emma, Renee and now Daniella.
Both the characters are written beautifully and are soo lovable, we get to see them grow and love each other and develop into a lovely family.
Daniella is so adorable, she started out as a scared and shy girl, we see her grow into herself and overcome a horribly traumatic experience with the help of the the family and the kids.
The overall story line is carried well (i am not going to spoil, so go and read) along with several other characters from previous books especially the kids we see them grow more and become a bit mature but still mischievous.
Kylie is the absolute sweetheart and the perfect little copy of Regan, Wes and Clarrisa and so cute.
All the kids are so precious (i can not say this enough, they are written so well).
Anneke has created this sort of a universe with her characters and it is amazing to experience each of the characters we meet through out the series grow and have their own stories and still maintaining a strong connection with the other characters and an ongoing bigger storyline throughout the series.
I highly recommend reading this series from the very beginning (Trust me, it is absolutely worth it), but if you want a quick MM read, you can read it as a standalone too and still experience Devon and Dante's wonderful story.

This is my first time reading an MM romance where it was between the main characters, instead of side characters. It's not something that I'm entirely interested in reading so I was nervous I wouldn't like it. I, however, did enjoy reading it. I thought it was funny and it was action-packed from start to finish.
I love the kids in this series, they make me laugh so hard. I read this book so quickly. I liked it; it kept me interested and made me want to know what happens next. I liked that the scenes between Devon and Dante weren't written in great detail. Especially since this is my first time reading an MM romance. I read this one because even though the books can be read as a standalone, I like to find the easter eggs from previous stories and know what all the characters mean when they are talking about things that happened to them in the past.
I can't wait to see what happens in the next book. Super Excited!
However, this is still more for 18+ readers as there is some content that may not be suitable for some readers.

I love how they all live together and all the new babies that got added to the mix! I glad Dante and Devon Devon found each other and the love they had been looking for.

Never in a million years would I think that a mafia series would be my favorite to read. This incredibly amazing series keeps on growing in the most amazing way. This was my first m/m read, too. Insanly amazing work !! It captures you from the start, keeping up the suspension until the end. All the heartfelt banter between the family between the bullets flying makes it perfect. You will meet Devon and Dante, who gets a thrilling love story de lux. Meet the little sweetheart Danielle that will melt your heart. This is definitely a must-read for everyone!!

I love a good MM book. Add if there’s mafia, and I’m a goner. GONER.
As usual with all of Anneke’s books, this one is action-packed and a fast read. But pay attention to detail because they will come back to bite later in the book or other books.
Dante and Devon are made for each other. Even being apart for a very long period of time, their love for each other never dies. In fact, it burns stronger and hotter than ever.
When the two finally are back in each other’s arms, it’s obvious their bond is forever strengthened and never breaking.
So much happens in this story that sets up for other books in the series. I’m SO excited to read them ALL!

This is my first MM romance, and it didn’t disappoint.
Dante, son of Dimitri Petrov, head of the Petrov Bratva in Russia, went undercover to find his niece. But the motorcycle gang find out he was a rat and who his father is.
The DeLuca’s was determined to find Dante, especially Devon Luther. Devon knew Dante was someone he wanted wanted to be with.
Love DeLuca Mafia Series the characters are just one big happy family that will make you laugh out loud, but will protect their own.

I love the romance and the development of the storyline. It was perfectly done, not too slow or too fast but just right. I was on the edge of my seat through the entire book. I recommend to start from book one, because the rest of the series is just as amazing as the first book and everything connects amazingly

Absolutely love this book. It's an action roller-coaster that will , keep you on the edge of yelling to the air
