When the end arrives, how far will you go to survive?
With over 4 million books sold, the #1 best-selling and most prolific post-apocalyptic thriller author Mike Kraus brings a gripping tale of destruction, survival and humanity like no one else can.
On a quiet evening like any other, virtually anything that uses fuel goes up in flames, killing billions in the first twenty-four hours alone. Remnants of governments reel as they try to deal with the destruction of their countries and decimation of their military infrastructure as their cities burn to the ground.
On a quiet beach in South Florida, Alice Burton and her two children have started the family vacation early - all that's left is for James to fly in from a conference in Colorado. When the small beach town they're staying in is consumed by fire, they're forced to seek help on foot - facing dangers both natural and manmade at every turn.
Meanwhile, at the Denver International Airport, James Burton hides beneath an overpass as cars and planes erupt in flame around him. His survival is not guaranteed, as a treacherous journey through the heart of Denver and beyond awaits him if he has any hope of reuniting with his family.
Back home, on their small farm outside East Lansing, Michigan, Alice's parents are house-sitting, and are about to experience the most intense test of their survival and homesteading skills that they could ever imagine.
This omnibus edition of The End of All Things contains all 6 books from the original The Collapse The Desolation The Ruination The Darkness The Devouring The Redemption

Mike Kraus & Muonic Press are the #1 producing and selling indie press publishing post-apocalyptic tales, for good reason. Since capturing audience’s attention with Final Dawn in 2012, Kraus has captivated and delighted his readers, both with his solo projects like Surviving the Fall and No Sanctuary, and with his co-authored projects with authors like Justin Bell, JJ Pike, Tara Ellis, Kenny Soward and others on titles such as Epoch's End, Zero Hour, MELT, Flashpoint and Weathering the Storm.
Kraus deserves the top rating for giving readers a long, thrilling ride. That said, there were too many cringe-worthy scenes filled with dialogue that is reminiscent of those radio serials of yesteryear that had kids hanging on each 15-minute episode. (“No time for that now, Betty!” The hero would say to his sidekick and organ music would swell until the announcer promised more thrills tomorrow). What sets this author apart is his research into how mechanical things work. I wish there had been diagrams to make it even clearer.
Such an amazing series. I'm always sad when a good book ends which is why I love a good long series. This book has it all... Love, family, perseverance, thriller, a wide array of characters and such a believable end of the world thriller. Most books have all the survivors out to kill one another but in reality I don't believe ALL survivors would be like that. This series has it's fill of bad people BUT it also has a more realistic amount of good people who want to do good and help one another which I found VERY refreshing. Mike Kraus doesn't disappoint.
I went ahead and got the series so I could finish the story without delays. I’ve read many of this genre. This one is truly different in both the catalyst event, the story progression, and plot elements. I liked all the characters and would have preferred more character development and less violence. But the violent events were not over the top. Work on the ending a bit more. It is predictable. Not complaining. Good reading.
Very fast paced and concise. Quite a few story lines but they blended together effortlessly. Fantastic story line, had a hard time putting it down as the next chapter was just as exciting as the last one read. The ending was perfect, thoroughly enjoyed the Burton's story!!!!!!
This series is a must read! I fell in love with Alice, James, and their family. They go through an awful lot at the end of the world. I could not stop reading to see what happened next.
I really enjoyed the varied story lines and suspense. Many times I could not put the book down. Highly recommend these books and series to anyone who loves the apocalyptic journey.
I thought I was burned out on survival books but for some reason decided to give this one a go. I am really glad I did. I truly enjoyed this series. I highly recommend it.
This is a tale of what could happen in a way that few have imagined. Nonstop and up all night. Frightening at times and showing the strength of ourselves in times of trouble. Hopefully, this is just a tale....
Interesting story and makes you think how people would react if America should experience a catastrophic event. Hopefully America would not experience anything like this story.
I had a hard time putting this series down. It covered the good, the bad, and the ugly of an apocalypse. It was so good following the families and their determination to reconnect with each other no matter what. Excellent writing!
