She ran from her upper class wedding straight into his garage.... He talks dirty, his job is dirty, and he definitely knows how to get her dress dirty.
Kira Lockwood was never built for high society—she just didn’t realize it until half an hour before her wedding. That’s when she ditches the diamond-studded chapel, and hijacks the getaway car to well … get away. Breaking down in the sleepy town of Coyote Creek—both figuratively and literally—wasn’t on the itinerary. Enter West Bradford, the rugged mechanic who tows her to safety, and gets under not only the hood of her car but the tulle of her designer wedding dress! With her powerful father cutting her off, Kira’s suddenly stranded with no money, no roadmap, and no idea who she is without a trust fund. But Coyote Creek offers more than just small town charm. It offers friendly people who don’t have diamond encrusted poles stuck up their tailpipes, an inappropriate elderly roommate, and one blue-eyed mechanic who wants nothing more than to see her choose the blue collar life - in this small town with him.

💬 I didn't hate this book, but I didn't really love it either, and it can really be summed up with "it's not you it's me".
So fun fact about me, I don't really like comedies. 🫣 Or at least I don't like TV show comedies (but I do love dramedies like Psych) and that's what this was like. The kind of humor that I enjoy in books is more sarcasm/snarky banter and this one is more ...hyperbolic? Especially with Agnes. And that definitely has its place! There's nothing wrong with it but it's just not my jam.
To me, this book feels like it's Gilmore Girls fan fiction but add over the top characters and dirty humor. And probably an unpopular opinion, but I'm getting a little tired of books with tons of TayTay references. I mean I like Taylor Swift but it just gets a little old sometimes. Like I know people complained about millennials and their obsession with Harry Potter so now I feel like it's gen Z and Taylor Swift.
I also wish there'd been more depth to the characters, and especially Kira and West's relationship. It seemed very surface level.
I promise I didn't hate everything though 🙈 The actual plot of the story was really cute and I liked it a lot. I also loved the found family theme running through the story and enjoyed the way not only did the characters come together to support one another but also the whole town came together as a community. Agnes was kind of annoying to me personally but I still appreciated that she was such a badass character. Along with that, there's lots of millennial references once you get past all the TayTay 😉
So like I said a lot of it is just my personal tastes and not an issue with the book. I think most people would find this to be a quick easy read and laugh out loud funny.
OMG this was such a fun read!! I mean we’ve got a runaway bride who is not at all shy about sharing the reason she just left her (now ex-groom) at the altar & it is a doozy! Kira may have lived a rich & sheltered life but this girl has some serious grit! Determined to figure out who she is and where she goes from here all on her own. While making herself at home in the small town of Coyote Creek & winning the hearts of all the residents, especially the towns resident mechanic West. When West gets a call to tow a broken down Rolls Royce he was not expecting a beautiful woman in a wedding dress. He really wasn’t expecting his reaction to her which is {insert dirty alpha male tendency} These two are adorable & I loved how their relationship started off so passionate then progresses as they spend more time together. Kira finding her independence & West finding the one thing he’d kind of given up on. The townspeople of Coyote Creek were top tier! Snarky old ladies, seniors taking lunch on top of buildings sans…. Well, you know… kind, generous & helpful people who truly are a community. I see some serious opportunities for more stories to come out of here & I cannot wait!
I would give this book 100⭐ if I could! I was drawn in from the first page and I was hooked until the end. I hope we get more from the Coyote Creek series. I really liked Kira and West both. She was sassy but smarter than people thought. He may have had a rough past but he showed that you can learn and grow in life. My favorite character had to be Agnes. I've never laughed so hard at a characters shenanigans before. I wanna be Agnes when I get older! 5⭐ 3🌶
I love a dirty talking MMC and West was it. He had a dirty mouth but was soft and caring for Kira. He knew what he wanted and she was it. Kira ran away from her arranged marriage and found herself in Coyote Creek. The whole town welcomed her and her found a better family than her own.

This was okay at best. But it needs to go back and be edited again and have like 5 different people proofread it 5 there were so many grammatical errors it was painful.
I loved reading this book,it was so much fun and a much needed dose of light relief from all the angst of day to day life. Getting lost in West and Kira's story and spending time in Coyote Creek was just what I needed right now. A Small town/Opposites attract romance Kira is fleeing from her own wedding when she gets stuck in the middle of nowhere, when the Rolls Royce she is driving decides to break down. Local Mechanic West comes to her rescue in more ways than one, dressed in her wedding dress,West gets the shock of his life when he sees her stranded at the side of the road. West has an unusual kink for ball gowns, etc etc..so seeing Kira dressed in her Wedding dress certainly gets his engines Reving. There are sparks between them from the start and West helps Kira with a place to stay and with the car.,,He is the perfect gentlemen until he is not and they are ravishing eachother. I love the way that even though they are intimate from the moment they meet, they are not awkward with one another...They become good friends and I love that between them. Of course the attaction is still there, and as Kira decides to stay in town for a while, they decide to pursue this chemistry between them. They are opposites Kira comes from money and is high society West is an ex con who has turned his life around,he works hard for what he has...He is a good man super sexy and dirty in the bedroom...No wonder Kira can't resist him.!! Coyote Creek is a fantastic town with quirky characters and Agnes is one of them..Kira is staying with her..Agnes is an elderly lady with a wicked tongue and shameless behaviour..OMG you will love her she is hilarious...There are alot of characters that you just easily fall in love with. From Kira's best friend Toby to West's friend Hunter and all the others in between I fell hopelessly in love with this town. With this being book 1 in the new series from Natalie Parker,I am excited for more from Coyote Creek. Natalie Parker's writing is so witty, smart and funny she is a genius at comedy and making readers feel good as they read her words. I really enjoyed Fast and Dirty and loved Kira and West. Excellent 5 Stars.
Fast & Dirty is a spicy, fun start to the Dirty Jobs of Coyote Creek series that delivers exactly what the title promises—grit, heat, and plenty of small-town charm. The story kicks off with a bang (or rather, a breakdown) when West, a rugged mechanic with a guarded heart, rescues Kira, a runaway bride whose impulsive detour turns into something way steamier than she bargained for. From the jump, the chemistry between West and Kira is apparent. Their banter is snappy, their attraction is undeniable, and the steamy moments practically sizzle off the page. Parker does a great job of injecting humor into the story, and the quirky, lovable cast of Coyote Creek side characters makes this world feel lively and fun—I found myself chuckling more than once at their antics. That said, while I enjoyed the ride, I didn't quite fall head over heels for West and Kira as characters. Their connection was hot, but I found myself wishing for a little more emotional depth—more insight into who they are beyond the sparks and circumstances that threw them together. The setup had great potential, but their relationship felt like it needed a bit more time to grow and breathe. Still, this was a fun, flirty read that sets the stage for what looks like a delightfully rowdy series. I’ll definitely be back in Coyote Creek for the next dirty job! I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book. 3.75 stars
Coyote Creek is the town to be ! Not only is the new mayor and his wife a hot item but the towns people are hearts people 🥰
Kira left her groom to be at the altar after finding him , getting his grove on with another woman on his wedding day ! The getaway car , a beaut of a Rolls Royce breaks down and the mechanic or knight that comes to her rescue is delectable and sparks fly from the moment they lay eyes on each other 🥰 I know it’s a perfect Hallmark book to movie read ❣️📚
I laughed hard and there’s so many special moments I’ll be taking away from this read and make no mistake I love the leading couple but the one that really stole my heart is Agnes , this old lady has spunk , sass and a sense of humour and I hope to age like her one day ❣️
Kita may come from a privileged back round but she has not one pretentious bone in her body! She’s real and has a heart of gold and when daddy dearest came with an ultimatum to get his way she was willing to sacrifice herself to save the town but West and the townsfolk want having it and they all played a monumental role not only save their town heritage but also their town sweetheart 🥰 who doesn’t want to be loved like that ?!
This really was a feel good read that gives you ether warm and fuzzies ❣️🤗
IM FREAKING OBSESSED WITH THIS BOOK, THE CHARACTERS, THE SMALL TOWN AND EVERYTHING ELSE IN-BETWEEN!!!!!!!
This book had me laughing out loud and on the edge of my seat at times. I just couldn't put it down once I picked it up. I was hooked from start to finish!.
It's filled with spice, humour, drama, banter, loyalty, small town vibes, unforgettable characters, found families, love, romance, action and so much more.
Coyote creek is such a welcoming small town with the friendliest people ever, that you can't help just want to be apart of yourself. Theses characters will capture your hearts and never let go.. There is one badass old woman that will have you rolling around the floor with her smart mouth!
West and Kira are fucking hot together, their chemistry and attraction is instant and burning they pages. West is our loveable rugged mechanic and finds himself a little cutie pie called Kira who's running away from her father and other things. She's also now been cut off by her father and he's trying every damn thing to break them apart. Will he succeed in tearing them apart?
Grab the book and find out, you won't regret it. Highly recommend!!!!!!!!!
I want to visit Coyote Creek and stay with Agnes. Fast and Dirty is the perfect romcom, strangers to lovers romance that will have you laughing at the banter between the two MCs, West and Kira. OMG, I could not put it down because page after page, Ms. Parker had me loving the feistiness and sassiness of Kira and the sarcasm and the one-liners of West. Coyote Creek will never be the same after West, the town's sexy, swoon-worthy mechanic, comes to the rescue of a runaway bride, Kira. Kira is a runaway bride and the back sheep of her wealthy family. There was an instant attraction between the two of them; however, Kira had some reservations until she talked to her BFF, Toby. The chemistry and sparks that they shared was beautiful. Then you add in Agnes (grandma), Naked Ned, and Hunter, just to name a few, and you have a found family that has you dreaming your car breaks down and you have to stay in their small town. I can't wait to see what Ms. Parker has in store for us in the next book.
Squeals, I am OBFRIGGINSESSED with this book, this town, these characters. West & Kira are drawn together in her big escape from the city and instantly sparks fly, and I absolutely couldn't put this book down!
Small town vibes ✅️ Runaway Bride ✅️ Dirty mouthed mechanic ✅️ Hilarious secondary characters ✅️
I am in swoonworthy terroritory! Kira & West are absolutely gorgeous together. The connection, the banter, I mean I love the sass and one-liners and add in the alphaness and protectiveness just leaves me literally daydreaming of my own West😍😍🥰
The chemistry, laugh out loud moments, loyalty, drama, and steam really connect this so beautifully. And let's be friggin real, i can not complete my review without a big shout out too Agnes what a friggin legend, and I absolutely LOVE her and how she is such a key figure to the story!
I haven't devoured a rom com book this quickly in a while, and Natalie Parker has just created one of my favourite reads. 😍
Okayyyy this was my first book by this author and goodness gracious where has this author been all of my life?!!! Sucked me in right from the beginning! This book was easily 5 stars and then some for me! West and Kira’s instalust was hottttttt 🔥 but also made sense. Coyote creek is the sweetest town! Agnes is the old lady I aim to be in the future! Sweatergawd she was the highlight of this book! I laughed so much with her and her antics. Here’s my favorite quote from Agnes “Well you look hotter than leather seats in July” 🤣 The spice was spicing 🥵 it was perfectly done and oh so delicious! So if you love these tropes then PLEASE read this book I promise its amazing 🤩 -Runaway bride 👰🏻♀️ -Dirty talking mechanic 🥵 -Wacky old lady 👵🏼 -Small town shenanigans 🏘️
This was about Kira. She was about to walk down the aisle in an arranged marriage set up by her father for a business deal. She wasn’t happy about it but the guy she was marrying Preston wasn’t all that bad. When she went outside to get some air she saw something that made her angry. So she took off in the Rolls Royce that they were going to take after the ceremony. Well she ended up breaking down and a tow truck was called. This is where she met West. He owned the mechanic shop in town. She fell in love with the town so she decided to stay. She met Agnes the next day at the shop. They ended up hitting it off and she went to stay with her since she had a lot of space. Agnes was a spunky old lady. So funny. This was a great book.
Fast and Dirty by Natalie Parker delivers on the laughs and the heat! This raunchy romcom had me cracking up—especially thanks to the unforgettable side characters. Agnes, the sharp-tongued and hilarious elderly spitfire, steals every scene she’s in, while Toby, Kira’s witty best friend, adds even more comic relief. The banter and outrageous situations keep things light and fun throughout. At the heart of it all is the unlikely romance between Kira and West. Their totally opposite upbringings make their connection all the more charming, especially since both lead with genuine kindness. A dirty, delightful ride from start to finish!
Fast and Dirty is book one of the Dirty Jobs Of Coyote Creek Series.
West was such a loveable character. Everyone in town seemed to agree as well. He has a bit of a bad history, but no one really seems to overly care about it. He was a very mild mannered individual and when he meets Kira, he knows he has found the one. They have a bit of a whirlwind romance together but Kira's father likes to get his way and comes in between them causing problems. I enjoyed how the town got behind West and made sure that he could get his own HEA.
This was a nice small town and I can't wait to read more from this series.
Fast and Dirty was a fun read. It made me laugh and at times I was anticipating what would happen next with each page I turned. I loved following Kira and West. West is hot with his dirty talk. I loved how ambitious Kira is once she gets her chin up. However, I think my favorite character was Agnes. I so want to be her when I grow up! I highly recommend this book if you love Romcoms and even if you don’t! I cannot wait to read more about Coyote Creek and the zany people that live there or happen upon it!
As always be mindful of trigger warnings, what I like you may not.
A cute, sassy, small-town romcom about Kira and West. Runaway bride, gets rescued when her “chariot” breaks down but the mechanic, assumptions are made and fairly quickly corrected.
Big-city girl, is thrown into a small town, and finds a way to fend for herself, with some new friends she’s made along the way and a friend from home.
I enjoyed the story, these two are made for each other and we all need more of Agnes in our lives! I hope we get to see more of her!
This was such a good read. I loved the characters in the story. There was humor, spice, some drama, and great development. I loved that in a split second Kira decided that she didn't want to stay in the lavish life she was used to and ran from her wedding thirty minutes before she was supposed to walk down the aisle. Her car breaks down and West gives her a tow, taking her to Coyote Creek where things take a turn that neither of them is expecting.
If you're into romcoms with great things, this is the book for you.
As someone who is just now fully embracing the small town greatness this was a DELIGHT! Who can deny the pull of a rugged man? Especially one who works so well with his hands. 😉 West is a guy who’s worked hard to turn over new leaves and make his new mechanic shop thrive in the small town of Coyote Creek. He’s done just that. But when Kira shows up on the side of the road in crisis his entire life is thrown off balance as he falls in love with a gorgeous runaway bride. Love. Love. Loved this.
West and Kira’s story is amazing. This is definitely a romcom. I was laughing so much in this. Agnes she takes the cake as the funniest character. The things she calls people are downright hilarious. That old lady was just pure perfection. West and Kira they may move fast but I loved seeing that West didn’t judge Kira or hold any resentment to her for her upbringing instead he helped her rediscover a new version of herself. A less rich person version.
This was a phenomenal read. I’m glad TikTok convinced me to get and read it.
When Kira runs from her high society arranged marriage and ends up broken down outside a small town, the ex con mechanic with a ball gown f3tish comes to the rescue. While hiding out in the small town, she finds friends, love, herself, and the best s3x of her life.
If you love small town, found family, opposites attract, and all things dirty, this is a must read!
Book 1 in the Dirty Jobs of Coyote Creek. Kira, the runaway bride, escapes the big city, wealthy lifestyle in the nick of time. Enter West, the small town mechanic tasked with rescuing Kira after her getaway car breaks down. This book is a refreshing romcom filled with sassy, sarcastic side characters, a dirty mouthed mechanic, all with the small town vibe. Great read in the newest stand-alone character series from Miss Parker.
Kira, the runaway bride, lands in Coyote Creek where she meets West. He’s totally different than the family she comes from, but he’s everything she needed. First book in the new series, and Miss Parker did an outstanding job. West and Kira are so adorable together. She fits right into the small town of Coyote Creek, and with West by her side, it feels like home. This is a feel good book that made my day.
Natalie Parker will have you laughing from the moment Kira Lockwood meets the hot small-town mechanic, West Bradford. These two are definitely meant for each other. She's a bride who breaks down on the side of the road after fleeing from a wedding she doesn’t want. Winding up in the small-town of Coyote Creek offers her a new outlook on life.
This book is equal parts rom-com and spiciness. I absolutely loved it, and can't wait for the next one.
Kira fleeing her wedding turned out to be the worse and best thing to happen to her. Her cheating groom lead her to a sexy dirty talking mechanic name West in town in the middle of nowhere. Agnes and Toby gotta love them. Kira and West were fun and perfect for each other in this small town where people gravitate to and find a fresh start.
Wow! I loved this fun, hilarious small town read! Runaway bride meet the hot, dirty mechanic and the sparks fly! I read this on a hot Saturday afternoon and it had me glued to my seat! I can’t say enough about how much fun I had reading Kira and West’s story. I’m drooling while waiting for the next book in this new series to come out!
This was an amazing arc read! I loved how the small town life was intertwined through out the entire story. Agnes was probably my favorite character out of this whole story. I loved how she was the hip grandma and the center of all the chaos. I can't wait to read the next in the series.
