Quick, fun read..straight to the point. The plot is really good too and there are surprises. Cass and Blaze are really great together. Sweet moments of romance and some spice. I look forward to completing the series.

First off the characters are described beautifully the interjection of descriptions of events is out of this world. The chemistry between characters is a sold 10/10. I’m beyond loving it Definitely worth reading it. Also proud bestie moment 😭🤌🏼🖤

This book got straight to the point, and I absolutely adored that. The chapters were short and sweet, packing in all the information needed to truly understand Cass, Blaze, and all the other characters woven into the story. I resonated with Cass on such a deep level, feeling every heartbeat of her struggles as I, too, have always been the black sheep in my family. The way she felt, I felt right along with her. There's the perfect amount of spice throughout this book that enhances the story without letting it revolve solely around sex. That twist at the end truly took me by surprise, and the cliffhanger left me buzzing with anticipation to dive into book 2! The only element I found a little disorienting was Blaze going by several different names--it took me a moment to adjust. Thankfully, there was an explanation that clarified things for me. I wholeheartedly recommend this book to anyone who loves a spicy, forbidden romance that truly captivates the heart!
