Logan is still pursuing Melissa to become his submissive. In this midst of his quest, his past rears up and throws in a wrench.

These are very short stories and therefore not a lot of time to put much into them. There is some improvement with book 2. The addition of a little drama helps, but the story is still superficial. The characters and the plot lack depth. Ava Claire added a bit of backstory, but it further boxed Melissa into this needy "woe is me" heroine.

I'm gonna call it quits. I tried two from this series, but it's not for me.

Esta historia ha mejorado bastante en comparación con el primer libro. Quizás es porque esta narrada por Logan y es un personaje con el cual es fácil simpatizar.

Aquí podemos conocer y entender mucho mejor a Logan y todo lo que ha vivido. Además de ver como se va desarrollando su relación con Melissa.

Me ha parecido una historia entretenida, de esas para pasar el rato una tarde de Domingo. Pero hasta ahí llega la profundidad o la complejidad de la historia.

Well, I'm one of the lucky women who are on "TEAM AVA"... I absolutely love her writing, she hooked me in a stairwell so many months ago. ;) I've been an absolute fan ever since...

Well as you know this is the second volume in the "Logan and Melissa" series...Beautiful surrender. The first volume is in the box set "It's in his kiss" that was released a few months ago...

This latest volume basics starts off where we were left however the super hot and sexy billionaire Logan is our narrator. Oh yeah, I could hear his deep growl in my ears as he's talking.

Their love affair is just beginning and man are there some hot and sweaty sex scenes in this latest volume BUT there's MORE!!! You find see glimpses of Logan and his past but nothing is ever revealed this early in a series - keeps you begging for more. And mmm, would I ever love to be Melissa and begging him.

She's still so shy and unsure but a firecracker at the same time. She doesn't take his shit nor does she let anyone stand in her way...

What you will get out of this; a lot of 'what's that about', jaw dropping shock, mouth watering voyeur sex scenes - like I'm talking you're right in front of the bed or outside the window watching them get hot and heavy. If you could jump in you probably will want to, and your heart will ache, you'll be royally pissed but you will be biting your tongue and perhaps your lip too. Umm, what are you reading this for when you could be in the room with these two??? And for all of you celebrity fans - you just might meet one too just on the same side of psycho as Rachel was... But Melissa and Leila are sown from two different clothes...

I'm truly enjoying watching Ava grow as an author, and I suspect in strength as a person... You go girl, I'm glad you're happy and stronger!!! It shows in your work! 5 stars - if I could give more I truly would!!! *****

This book shows us the characters of Logan and Melissa a little more. We get to see more of their past and previous relationships. They have such an unnatural draw to each other and when the sparks that fly when they are together. I think this scares both of them a little. Melissa needs a man who knows what she needs in the bedroom and gives it to her without her saying a word. Well Logan is her match...he is your typical dominate lover. He needs control in the one place she is willing to give it to him. But then of course, here comes the drama...Logan's ex-girlfriend is back and wants him. Of course she is famous and everyone loves "Delilah" but they don't know she is evil to the core. She makes sure to say stuff in front of Melissa about Logan being being a rough Dom and hurting her, which Melissa was afraid of that anyway. Melissa finally has had enough and tells her to get the hell out. But Delilah is getting her revenge, she will be announcing in the morning that she is pregnant with Logan's baby.... I bet that puts everything in a tail spin. Waiting for book #3!

I am SO glad that she decided to write this as a serial…I really enjoyed the first book Waiting for You and I absolutely LOVED this one.
This one is in Logan’s POV and we learn quite a bit about the mystery that is the elusive billionaire Dom named Logan. He has obviously been hurt and uses the Dom lifestyle as a means to protect himself from being hurt by another woman. The problem is when he meets Melissa he falls hard and fast for her…and he’s not sure how to handle that.

Then there is Delilah James…oh man she is going to be a HUGE problem for these two. AND that cliffhanger though!!! I need the next book like yesterday!
This series got really good at the end and I cannot wait to see what happens next. I just know I am going to hate Delilah by the end of this book…she reminds me a LOT of Rachel from the His Submissive series.

If you’re looking for a short Erotic BDSM read then I highly recommend this series.

Well I loved it and can't wait to read more of this story. It just keeps getting better and better. Logan and Melissa are great characters who have only developed more in this one and no doubt will in the third of the series.

This time we are reading the from Logan's POV and its really different to read from his POV which really made me enjoy this book. To get in both of the characters heads was a really good thing for Ava to offer her readers.

Knowing Logan's feelings and emotions towards Melissa added another element to the series.

Oh boy I do hope that ex of his gets what's coming to her. She just has to ruin everything.

Ava decided to leave us all hanging which left me beyond words when the book ended but it just keeps me excited for the next.

Really enjoyed this story and can't wait for more from Ava.

I'm not so sure after the surprise Delilah has for Logan.

Logan is fantasy inspiring! It's nice to see the sexy alpha man go a little wonky over a woman because she's unlike all the rest. I'm usually not into reading e-serials because I prefer to read it all at once in a book format, but this one has caught my attention and I must complete the series to see what happens with Logan, Melissa, and Delilah.

We get to known Logan and Melissa a bit more and it was very
entertaining. I LOVE Melissa. She doesn't take no crap and tells it
how it is. And so feisty. Logan I loved getting to know more of and he
isn't your typical hardcore dom and I really enjoy that. I am not into
the hardcore BDSM and guys that act like dicks. So it is refreshing
and nice the way he is and treats Melissa. It had drama and lots of
steaminess. And the ending! gahhh!!! Delilah is like Rachel's evil
twin hahaha. It was amazing and highly enjoy this series and enjoyed
this installment more than the first! I am so happy Ava has done a
series again! looking forward to more. Must read series for sure!

I'm so loving Logan and Melissa. This new series has started with a bang! In Waiting For Me, book 2 of the series, we are reading the story from Logan's point of view. I was fascinated. To be in Logan's mind and witness his turmoil first hand with dealing with his feelings for Melissa was exciting. Logan has feelings for Melissa that he didn't see coming and he didn't expect to have. The question now is, how will he deal with those feelings? Not only is Logan battling his emotions, but he also has a vindictive ex to deal with. I can't believe Ava left us hanging like that! I don't know if I'll survive waiting for the next installment. I am very anxious to know what is next to come for Logan and Melissa. I'm speechless! What a cliffhanger. My, my, my. What's next?!

I was lucky enough to have been given this AWESOME book 2 for my honest review.
I am a big fan of Ava to begin with so this story was so just as awesome as the rest of her books.
Logan and Melissa's story continues in this book and I have to say I couldn't put this book down for one minute.
The sex is steamy and hot. Logan is woohoo hot and Melissa's the perfect girl with the spicy attitude just for him.
I must say you really should pick up this book up you will so not regret it.
Kudos to Ava for another awesome book and I can't wait till book 3 wow just getting the chills thinking about it.

So with all that said why are you reading my review when you should be reading this awesome read lol

I'm kind of lukewarm about this second installment of this series. The author's writing style is compelling and enjoyable, but the story lacks something for me.

Melissa was a little too pouty and angry throughout the short story which is a turn-off for me. She just met this guy, and doesn't have any claim on him, yet she's acting like an immature and jealous girlfriend. Sorry, but you don't get to react that way after knowing someone for 24 hours. At least not in my world. I'm also struggling to understand what's so different about Melissa that has Logan breaking all of his normal rules as a Dom. I guess I'm looking for a little more character development and story line than what is offered. I'm going to bow out now from this series but I'd be willing to try more from this author.

I am so happy to be on Team Ava, I love all of her writing. I loved reading Logan's POV, we get to read about his past, why he started his Dom lifestyle, and how messed up he is over these strong feelings he has for Melissa. Then we have Melissa who is attracted to Logan but is struggling with the whole submissive thing but Logan is not making it easy for her, the sex between them is smoking hot and Melissa will admit her true feelings and desires. Then of course we have a nasty ex trying to get in their way and ruin their happiness. Wow quite the cliffhanger and now the wait for the next book, ugh hate waiting but love the series so it will be worth it in the end.

I just have to start off by saying I'm so loving Logan and Melissa story. The book leaves me wanting more and more. I love how this book takes on more of Logan's story and the start of his relationship with Melissa who he wants as his new submissive. She's trying to fight it but Logan makes it very hard. the love scenes are sexy and fun. I love that Logan is all Dom but has those moments where he's not all hard and starts to show his true feeling for Melissa, something he has never felt before. Just when things are going right here comes trouble. I hope book comes soon!!!

Ava Claire allows inside Logan's brain for this installment to let us behind the curtain of the Dom and why he prefers a D/s relationships. Melissa is still struggling to admit her true desires, will she walk away from Logan? Or can she embrace her submissiveness? While all of this is going on, in walks a Delilah James, Logan's last relationship, and she doesn't want to give him up. Secrets are revealed and mistakes have to be faced. Of course, we end with a doozy of a cliff hanger … excited to find out what happens next in part 3!

This is the continuing story of Logan and Melissa. This book is written from Logan's POV and WOW who knew there was so much going on in a man's head!! Seriously, he is conflicted on his feelings despite being so Dominant on the outside. It's nice to see that even someone who seems so together, can also have an inner turmoil going on. It makes them more "normal".

Excellently written, as I've come to expect from Ms Claire nd well edited. I love the covers!! I have recommended this book to my friends.

Ava....you really need to keep writing at least 24 hours a day to get the next part out!!!

I'm loving Logan and Melissa. I like how we read the story from Logan's point of view which adds another element to the series knowing both characters feelings and emotions.

I was fortunate to receive an ARC copy of this book for this review. I have been a long time fan and she continues to blow me away. The first in the series was great and the follow up was even better. The two characters compliment each other. I love when I get so involved in a book not just sexually but emotionally. I felt the pull between Logan and Melissa. I finished the book in one sitting I could not put it down. I highly recommend getting lost in this book and falling in love with the characters!

There is definitely a good amount of sexual tension and attraction between Logan and Melissa but it surprises me how quickly this "relationship" is happening. Logan wants Melissa to submit to him but I don't understand that he seems to force himself to be Dominant. He's already admitted that he actually wants Melissa in more ways than he's ever wanted another woman yet he seems to be trying to push the D/s side of things. Then there comes the revelation about Logan's ex that I'm sure is going to cause nothing but trouble in the next book.

Melissa and Logan's story continues, with an unwanted encounter with Logen's ex sub Delilah. But they make it through... and then there's a cliff hanger of an ending... a bomb shell I didn't see coming but should have expected it.

This story would benefit from being lengthier, the story is good, the characters are likable, but it seems to be a little shallow and everything given up so quickly. This isn't bad thing, it's just that I could see the benefits the story would gain from being longer and more in depth.

The continuation of Melissa's and Logan's story wherein they got to know each other (well dating only in reverse - intimacy first before the dinner and getting to know you stages), and of course, the twist in a what could have been a positively progressive relationship, Delilah comes to ruin it all..

The first chapters didn't get me hooked to the story, but as conflicts (especially the end of the book) got me all curious and anticipating the subsequent books in this series.
