Minneapolis, May 25, 2020 George Floyd's death while in police custody unleashes a violent orgy of arson, looting, gunfire and mindless destruction by an enraged mob. Not content to vandalize local businesses, the rabble burns a post office, bank, cars, and ultimately torches a precinct building. The city's smoldering embers hide a multitude of sins, including a reign of terror buried for years until a veteran newspaper reporter looks beyond the chaos to uncover the truth.

Great writing. This would make a fantastic short series on Netflix or Prime. A story that is easy to believe could happen. Kept me awake at night as I needed to find out what was going to happen next.
Fast-paced, can't-put-down action-packed. Craig Macintosh has done again with a fast moving story that weaves lawyers, police and the press in Minneapolis as rogue cops - vigilantes - pick off criminals who have escaped the justice system. Down to earth and lots of fun to read.
