I fall hard for all the character. All of them! with no exception. This book was a really huge contrary in it. Innocent and lost innocent!
First I fall for the character : An artist and a billionaire. For me, it was such a great combination. Easy going artist and a strict billionaire.
The plot itself, if I can say, was a very well written. Very well plot. One step to another was so certain from the deep thoughts.
At first it was not so quick, that's what I love about this book more and more. I follow Daphne's every steps, every feelings, every breakdown. How she was struggle with the issues within herself.
I was very surprise with the whole story because I, if I can write a story, will put the character certainly like this book's character especially Daphne. Daphne was like : If I was born in the next life, I definitely want Daphne's character to be mine. Artistic, easy going, baby to her friends, innocent but not innocent, independent but also clingy (not in the bad way but in the sweet way), full of hope, full of heart. Submissive <- I really don't know why I love submissive girl.
The story wasn't bored at all. Not at all. It was like you take a step by step upstairs until you reach the peak and the peak was the climax with such a wonderful whole story.
If you looking for an insta-love with not-so-short story, it will be perfect for you. It wasn't short story but it was worth to read and after you read, I feel like I have to share my thought about this book. #LeaveReviewIMean ;)
And I really can't wait for the sequel. I wondered what will happen to Daphne, to Ethan, to all the secret he hold so dear. Dear old Ethan Desmond and all the mysteries around him.
Oh my God! After I write this review I still unable to express my exact feeling toward this book! I should write it one by one while I read, but really, I can't put down this book till I reach the peak (last page) so it was impossible to write one by one before I finished the book :'( and see, I finished it just about 3 days!
Dear Ms. Devrou, you've done such a wonderful work. I can't wait for your next sequel, next book Good job!!
