As a teacher, I’m a mandatory reporter so when I saw the bruises on one of my students, I immediately called Child Protective Services. Now the student and his mother are in hiding and there’s an angry crime boss who blames me for him losing his family. When my CEO father insists on hiring me a bodyguard, they send the most stunning woman that I’ve ever seen. Too bad she’s so grumpy and serious.

Yeah, that’s right, I’m a vampire named Bella. Cue the movie jokes. As one of the newest agents at Sapphic Security, I’m trying my best to follow all the rules. But being assigned to guard a sunshine personality kindergarten teacher while being surrounded by little kids with sticky hands all day is not exactly what I signed up for. Then I realize that Lucy is my fated mate and I’m suddenly laser focused on my mission. I need to keep her safe so I can make her mine, no matter how different we are.
I’m going to have to get creative to catch the bad guy and get the girl. Looks like I’m going to need to call in the bear shifters to help…

DNF at 41%
I won't be picking up any more books by the author.
I've tried two and ended up DNFing both of them.
The writing isn't really for me, it's rather cringe and sometimes reads like it was written by a (horny) teenager.
Bella was fine but I really didn't like Lucy at all.
And why should I force myself to finish it if it's not going to be more than a 2 star.
And I'm sorry to say but all the covers for this series are horrendous.
This obviously didn't impact my rating or thoughts about the story, but why would you choose a cover like this?

4 stars. So cute! Lucy is a kindergarten teacher and after reporting the abuse of one her students and the child’s mother, the abusive father is hunting for her. Bella is a vampire and works at Sapphic Security and is assigned as Lucy’s bodyguard. Of course Bella realizes that Lucy is her fated mate. Great chemistry between them and I loved how feisty and bossy Lucy was. This was so much fun and I’m happy that Boris also ended up getting his HEA as well! He’s been in all of the books and is such a lovable character so it was wonderful seeing him be smitten with Lucy’s best friend, Elena.

Guarding the Teacher: A Lesbian Paranormal Romantic Comedy is another low-angst addition to the paranormal vampire-human romance series. The number of minor characters continues to increase as more individuals the reader may have met before reprise their roles. As with previous story arcs in this series there is lots of sex and brief moments of suspense. This is a short read with the anticipated happy ending.

Sapphic shifters... What more can I say.
I love all books sapphic shifters and sapphic vampires. This series has them all.
Bella met Lucy when she was assigned to protect her from the mob. The fact that we also kind of read about Elena and Boris spiced up the series in a different way.
On to the next book.

One of Reba's cuter stories with funny bears and a grumpy vampire who is probably extra grumpy because she is named Bella but that just adds to the fun and teasing. A fun story and kindergarten teachers really are the bravest people in the world!

I love the Sapphic Security series by Reba Bale. Reading this romantic comedy was exactly what I needed. It had just the right amount of action with some scorching heat.

A fun, quick read, steamy shifter story. Lucy, kindergarten teacher has fallen foul of a Irish gang boss. Bella the vampire is assigned as her bodyguard. Well written instant fated mate story. I loved the byplay between both sets of lead characters. I am loving this series.

Been enjoying all the Sapphic Security books, as I come across them and this one was no different. I love me a good story, where bad ass women kick tushy and find love along the process... I really liked this one because one of the bear brothers, finally found his mate as well!!! you have to love that!
