A very compelling read. These two main characters Damon and Zara are extremely strong and powerful. Their stubbornness and alluring personalities makes them a perfect couple. Zara’s love for Damon is genuine and pure and she succeeds in breaking his very thick protective shell he’s built around himself and he succeeds in becoming everything she ever wished for in a man. Together, they must face danger that surrounds them both , learn to trust and believe in each other. Filled with heartfelt emotions, alluring and spicy chemistry, intrigue and danger, unbreakable love bond, Zara and Damon make all their dreams come true . A real page turner !

A journalist who is his sisters best friend and a tech giant come together with a fake engagement to save the company Damon has built.
With an ex thrown in to shake up their existence, things change quickly from a business standpoint to the real deal.
Gwynne Hart has weaved the balance between the two main characters very nicely. She has given the story suspense, romance, steam and some great descriptive story telling.
" A whole life- time of adventures awaits Zara and Damon" and this read gives us the promise of something more.

Zara is Damon's sister's best friend, and they are like oil and water but Blake's reputation is taking a hit and needs an update so he and Zara agree to become fake engaged to boost his public image and she would get the story of a lifetime. When she moves in with him to keep the paparazzi at bay feelings begin to rise and soon, they can no longer fight temptation. Will their fake relationship turn into the real deal.

lack of tension

Enjoyed the story but feel that more tension could have been created with the Kurt episode. The dynamic between Zara and Damion could also have been more. Equally the back story about Damion and what he was doing for ex SEAL’s could have been fleshed out. Each different episode within the book was like a photo, you know it is there but you don’t look at it and is quickly forgotten.

Altho this story starts slow and builds with intrigue and passion .. once Damon and Zara agree to work together and do so thru a fake engagement ... their desire for one another becomes real and together with Damon's cyber security help and his sister Cassie's boyfriend Josh... they bring down Kurt and the 7 letter company NRZVD ?? LOL ....the ending is amazing and the reading is worthwhile...

Good read

Zara and Damon showed us how to overcome the zealous attacks of those who only want to use you for their own personal gain. Getting the FBI involved was like icing on the cake as Kurt got a taste of his actions of deceit. Damon finally was able to experience true love in the arms of the woman who truly loved him and not his wealth.

Loved this book from start to finish. Good storyline and an easy going story read in one day. Zara and Damien were fated from the beginning. 2nd book I have read from this author and will definitely read more.

What a perfect romance book to read on a day that is cloudy and raining out. I really enjoyed reading this book and the characters a written to a perfection that you have to read to see what I mean. So, stop wasting time and start reading this book.

Not good.

The book blurb interested me but the book didn’t live up to it. I scanned the last 30%. The entire book has a Dick and Jane sort of storytelling. Very superficial character development. Also, it is in desperate need of better editing.
