With the Dane Crown Inn restored to its former glory, Belle and her cousins must overcome new challenges and make tough decisions before Aunt Margaret hangs a For Sale sign on the front door. As the family members gather for one final reunion, the question of the Dane family's legacy remains.
The Emerald Bay Series
After a lifetime of running the finest inn in Emerald Bay, Margaret Clayton has to make a decision … sell the Dane Crown Inn to a stranger or put her hopes for the future in her family’s hands. For most people, the choice would be simple. But nothing about her family is simple … especially not with her daughter and four nieces whose help Margaret needs now more than ever.
The five cousins know the inn as well as Margaret does. As young girls and teenagers, they spent every summer keeping the cottages and suites spotless, and enjoying the gorgeous beach as a tight knit family. Thirty years later, though, these five women have complicated, important, distant, and utterly packed lives. The last thing any of them can do is drop everything and save the inn. But, when it comes to family, the last thing is sometimes the only thing.
As the once-close cousins come together on the glorious shores of Florida’s Treasure Coast, they learn that some things never change, but others can never be the same. And the only thing that matters is family which, like the Dane Crown Inn, is forever.

Leigh Duncan is an Amazon best-selling author and a National Readers' Choice Award winner, the author of more than two dozen novels, novellas and short stories. However, the biggest thrill of her career--so far!--came when she saw her book, Journey Back to Christmas, featured on the Home and Family Show after Hallmark Publishing chose Journey to introduce its new line of romance novels. Her newest Hallmark Publishing release, A Simple Wedding, and her upcoming A Cottage Wedding (6/2/20) are the first of several books in Leigh's Heart's Landing series. These sweet, contemporary romances take place in a small town known as America's Top Wedding Destination, and each book centers on one couple who fall in love in Heart's Landing.
It's the end of the Emerald Bay series and I am not ready to say goodbye to these complex characters who by this point all feel like dear friends. I've enjoyed their individual journeys as one by one the cousins returned home, reconnected as a family, worked together to restore their family legacy, and found lasting love - plus a few surprises - along the way. Duncan vividly depicted each of them on the page, bringing them to life in such a way that they felt authentic and relatable, each with unique personalities and realistic challenges, both as individuals and as a family.
If you enjoy heartwarming women's fiction, family dynamics, a small-town, beachside location, and heart-tugging journeys to love, I highly recommend this series. I also strongly suggest reading the books in order as each book in the series builds upon those before it.
I don't know what Leigh Duncan has planned for her next book but after falling in love with both her Emerald Bay series and the Sugar Sand Beach series that preceded it, I'll definitely be in line to buy whatever comes next.
I've just finished the Emerald Bay series by Leigh Duncan. She is an amazing, insightful author who captures each of her characters - their personalities, their physical appearance, even their inner depth - close to perfectly. I say close because as an octogenarian I take issue with the portrayal of Margaret. She's smart and has some physical difficulties but . . . taking so many naps and having brown spots on her hands? That may be true of many 80+ year olds, but it is also not true of many more. Please do not categorize us. I also think some of her venue descriptions are overdone. After reading numerous times about the songbirds and the driveway made of crunchy shells I skipped over the descriptions often. Still, the Emerald Bay series is the best I've read. I've read many other authors' series, all enticing and good, but Duncan's is by far the most captivating. By the way, I am also an author of series, although my style of writing is very different. I'm transported in Duncan's writing and I love it! Thank you, Leigh, for many hours of joy. Please feel free to edit this review so just the positive comments shine. Bonnie Engstrom
Treasure Coast Legacy ~ Emerald Bay #6 by Leigh Duncan
Blurb: Belle and her cousins have beautifully restored the Dane Crown Inn, and with it, their warm sisterly bond. But can they stay close with Aunt Margaret poised to sell their legacy?
Sadly we have come to the end of this fabulous series from Leigh. Treasure Coast Legacy has been written brilliantly, the characters are wonderful and have developed over the six books. It's hard to say which is my favourite, I loved them all. It is certainly a series I will be visiting again and again.
Thank you, Leigh, for this book and the whole series, they are simply, brilliant, I fell in love with these characters who felt like real people, they are certainly real people I would like to be friends with.
I highly recommend this book, the others in this series, and, of course, the author, who has taken us on a journey.I look forward to reading Leigh's next book.
Reasons I enjoyed this book: Easy-to-read, Entertaining, Happily Ever After, Inspirational, Page-turner, Realistic, and Wonderful characters

Sadly, the Emerald Bay Series has come to an end. I have felt like a part of the Dane family as I experienced the cousins lovingly retore the Dane Crown Inn to it's original glory. The cousin's relationship with each other took a 365 degree turn since they landed in Florida.
The shared family struggles, romantic connections and the love they had for each other is beautifully expressed within the pages of this story. I will definitely miss reading about this family and the Dane Crown Inn.
Although I hated the idea that I would have to say goodbye to the Dane Crown inn and the women who’ve become so real to me that they feel like good friends rather than simply characters in a book, I waited eagerly for this final installment in the Emerald Bay series. Leigh Duncan did not disappoint me. From the first page to the enchanting epilogue, she kept me enthralled as I watched lives unfold and futures take shape. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: this is a truly outstanding series.
I have read this series in record breaking time. Each time I have delve into one of the books I find it hard to put down. It’s a beautiful story of a family that comes together and stays together. I love that the Series takes place on our very own Treasure Coast. I can see , hear and smell all of the descriptions in these fantastic books. So uplifting and light hearted. Sad this series is over but can not wait for another local Florida series to come out!
It was not only Dane family reunion that I loved, but also my reunion with Dane family. After Reading Book 5 Of Emerald Bay series I couldn't wait for more. It's amazing reading - you follow stories of all family members and their Family Reunion event. Loved all beautiful characters and the storyline. It is so easy to read and you just feel engaged in all.
I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
I really liked how the author tied everything up in this final book in this six book series. I am truly going to miss the characters. It was such fun to see them grow, fall in love, and find themselves. I enjoyed learning about the treasure and what would happen to Aunt Margaret's home, the Dane Crown Inn. I am so glad the book showed their legacy. Great epilogue too. I received an advance copy of this book and I willingly chose to write an honest review.
In this book about the Dane Crown Inn, the cousins have completed the renovations and we get to meet the distant relatives as they come for the long-awaited family reunion. But now what?
I loved this story and its series. I love the relationship between the characters and the growth each shows.
This is my voluntary review of a copy I received from Booksprout.
