Brian G Berry is new to the world of writing. He writes everything from 1980s inspired horror, SCIFI/Action-horror, to the strange. His biggest influences are the writers of the weird including Lovecraft, Howard, Clark Ashton Smith, to the pulp horror authors of the golden age 70s/80s- and a splattering of others. Author of The Pail, A Bloody Christmas, Splatter Fiend Series, Slasherback Series, Campfire Tales Beneath a Pallid Moon, Accursed Ground, Blood Lanes, The Night Mutilator, Thanksgiving Day Massacre, and his newest: SNOW SHARK.
This book probably would have been one of my favorites 30+ years ago. Wall to wall gore. Dismemberments abound. Bloodied and bowed. The very thinnest of plot to wade through. For a time there, I felt like I came in in the middle of something. So don't get me wrong, this was good but nowadays I like a little more substance with my random violence.
For fans of Robocop and Chopping Mall leaves with this delicious treat. Defenders to help cops retake the city from criminals like Kane. This was full of high intensity gore and violence. And strongly suggested to a sequel in final chapter.
