April was a spy and now has to go undercover as Delta to stay safe, who has an ice cream truck going having to move around from one town to another. She arrives in Tickle, Texas to visit with her best friend and traveling companion, Hettie whose husband has died. But things get bad when there is a dead woman in Hettie's house and Hettie is the prime suspect. Delta can't let that happen and she dives into the investigation to clear her friend. Finding strange things about Hettie's husband, and finding strangers entering the town that know Delta's real name, she has a dangerous job ahead. She has to solve the murder and stay out of the way of the strangers in town. This is the 6th book in a really page turning, fantastic series that keeps you guessing each time. I highly recommend this series and this book is a great addition. I can't wait to see what the next adventure is! I received an ARC of this book but the opinions expressed here are strictly my own.
Neapolitan Murder is another great read from Rosie A. Point. April/Delta goes to Tickle Texas to help Hentie after her husband's death. The town is not welcoming and then the person opposed to the ice cream truck gets murder. It seems that the officials of the town are harbouring secrets regarding the town and April has to navigate not being discovered by the people after her. This is an excellent addition to the series and you will be anticipating the next development in her life. A must read.
It was fun getting Hentie back in the mix—I’d really missed her in the last book since she’d gone back to Texas on her own. It was definitely a different Thanksgiving spent in the odd little town of Tickle, Texas and of course wherever April goes, there manages to be a murder in town. She and Smulder had to work hard to keep their real identities intact and they had some personal issues as well to deal with. Wonder where their next ice cream truck stop’s gonna be? Can’t wait to find out!
Spy in hiding on an ice cream truck Ms. Point's take on a spy trying to hide in plain sight, selling ice cream from a truck moving from town to town is interesting. She must solve a murder in order to move on to the next town quietly. It moves along and held my interest. I received an arc copy gratis and give my honest opinion in the same.
The town of Tickle reunites Hettie and April but the Murder of Victoria, a morality officer though more like wolf in sheeps clothing, a night time family visit, The Mayor discouraging an investigation due to tourism or maybe something more, cast of interesting towns people, more Oliver and April tension, loving this series.
