Sally Sutton is an Auckland playwright and children’s writer. Her first picture book, "Crazy Kiwi Tops and Tails", was published by Penguin in 2006. "Roadworks" will be her third picture book. She lives in the bush-clad suburb of Birkenhead with her husband and children

Large full page illustrations that take you through the doors of an airport and until you get on your plate at the gates. Since we liked Demolition and Roadworks by Sally Sutton, we got this and weren't disappointed.

We absolutely love this book. The illustrations are just like our trip through the airport recently. Great for talking through all the steps involved in catching a plane!

Has a nice "retro" feel to it even though the airport is modern. Rhyming text. Relevant to children who are travellers
