If you are looking for a sexy, smart, and entertaining paranormal read built around a world of shifters, vampires, half breeds, and other supernatural creatures pick up Lily. This is the first shifter book that I have read where there is a clear and distinct alpha female with a strong story line. Lily is a wonderful heroine who is strong and determined, but willing to trust and rely on the members of her pack who all have her best interests at heart. Lily has been running from her destiny and hiding in plain site among human society in modern and trendy London. As the manager of an art gallery, Lily has been able to pretend to be a normal human woman with an interesting and fulfilling career instead of leading a pack by the side of her mate.

Lily has a little of everything that you could want in a paranormal suspense romance. There's a series of kidnapping and murders of young wolf shifter women in their prime that endangers the lives of all of the shifters, but especially the Blackwood women. The villain is Reinhard, an ancient and twisted vampire who craves wolf's blood as well as creating chaos while wreaking havoc on those around him Killian is the leader of all the alphas and along with his pack is determined to remove the threat to their future. I can't wait to get more of Killian's story in later books. I am a sucker for a long suffering alpha hero and Killian represents that in spades. There's the added tension between Wallace and Bryn because of Lily as well. Wallace has to come to terms that the woman that he has protected and cared for for over two decades is bound to another. While Bryn has to own up to what he feels was a mistake made in his youth that he hopes Lily will not hold against him. And lots not forget the smoking hot loves scenes that Bliss provides the reader in spades.

If you are looking for a paranormal series with strong and smart women don't miss out on the Blackwood Wolves Saga. Not only is Lily a strong character, but her sister Cat is smart and strong as well with her own sense of worth and ability. The women in this world are respected and looked to for leadership and wisdom and it's a nice twist on the mostly male dominated hierarchies that I usually read and enjoy. Lily was a nice change from the norm. I really enjoyed book 1 and I look forward to seeing what Bliss will serve up next!

I received an ARC from the author in exchange for an honest review.**

Hot, Hot, HOT!!!! This book is like a dream come true for me ... really. I am a HUGE fan of urban fantasy/paranormal. Talk about some hot Alpha wolves, both male and female. If you were a fan of that hot wolf in that blockbuster movie (not naming names), then you will LOVE this. Awesome story line. Amazing character details. Incredibly hot sex scenes. What more could you ask for?

Crazy, rambunctious Lily Blackwood has found herself lost between the man that she aches for. The man that her loins yearn for, and the man that she is supposed to mate with, the one chosen for her. These men would be Wallace and Bryn. Not only are they both Alpha males, they both want Lily.Wallace has looked after Lily she she was born and has always been there as a friend as well as a hot hook-up. He knows how to read her, he just, well ... gets her. Then you have Bryn who is a young wolf, a pup in Wallace's eyes. Bryn see's and knows Lily as his mate and he is not going to back down. He needs Wallace to understand that this is how life is now. No longer can Wallace "play" with her when the urge hits. Therefore, the two can not seem to come to terms as far as Lily is concerned.

Crime has seemed to have peaked. Twelve murders in twelve months. One unfortunate death being Wallace's mate five years earlier. There is nothing more desired than to find the person or person's whom intend to take down the female Blackwood wolves. Wallace and Bryn come to agree on one thing only ... to protect Lily, or die trying. Their love is strong. Their pack is stronger.

Who will Lily choose? Wallace, who has loved and protected her all of her life, or Bryn whom was chosen by nature to be her mate? Do me a favor and go 1-click this book today. Bonnie Bliss has done one heck of a job bringing these characters to life. Not only is the story intriguing, the sex scenes are incredible. Thanks for stopping by and happy reading!

Shape shifters are always an amazing genre for me. I think it’s because I love the fantasy aspect of them. Could they be real, or are they all just made up by the writers? R.L. has a way of creating the world that exists in this book and adding the paranormal parts of it.

While this book is written by two separate authors, you can’t tell while reading this story. Their writing abilities work in great sync with each other to where one author stops writing and another starts. The different characters that are in this story are brought to life on the pages and the drama that takes place is just amazing.

Lily is a really good character, she is spoiled rotten and acts like it 100%. But that works for her I believe because of who she is. Wallace is just, Wallace. There is something about him that is just amazing and when you read this book you will understand what I mean. The different characters in this book balance each other out very well to the point where they can all balance each other.

This book brings a whole new light onto things that could possibly happen. One thing that I did completely enjoy about this book is that the book is about PEOPLE who are wolf shifters. Not wolf shifters who are people. I love the stories were it actually talks about the people behind the shifters. That brings a completely different aspect to the story itself. To me, that makes this book stand out a lot from the shifter stories out there.

All in all, if you love paranormal, this is the book for you!

*ARC received in return for an honest review

I'm a huge fan of the paranormal genre, Wolves being my favourite followed very closely by Vampires and Demons. So when I got the chance to review Lily: The Blackwood Wolves Saga #1 I jumped at the chance, I couldn't wait to delve in.

Just by reading the prologue, which gives us a little bit of the Blackwood Wolves' history, I could tell this wasn't going to be your usual hot n steamy wolf romance book and boy, I wasn't wrong!

Lily is an exciting and passionate read with lots of nail-biting tension to keep you glued to the edge of your seat. I don't mind telling you I shouted at my kindle quite a few times in shock. At times my knuckles were white with gripping my kindle so hard. And the steamy scenes were so hot I nearly had to stop reading just to cool myself down! But it was the dark and sinister scenes that kept me riveted to my seat, not wanting to put the book down.

I loved all of the characters in this book, even the evil ones. Yes, there is more than one and oh my word, they are bloody evil!! Although Bryn is a walking hunk of hotness, my favourite has to be Wallace Kirk *sighs* he just made my heart go Ohhhhh! and my panties melt. He can bite me any day.

Lily: The Blackwood Wolves Saga #1 is the perfect start to what is promising to be a wonderful and exciting nail-biter of a series and I for one can't wait for the next book!!

Smoking HOT Werewolves Fight To Save Their Kind and the Woman Who Loves Them All!

In the sea of wolf shifter and werewolf tales available today, Lily: The Blackwood Wolves Saga stands out and leads the pack. (pun intended!) Lily Blackwood is the fiery heroine who bucked against her destiny to try to fit into the world of humans and have a "normal" life. That stubborn streak ends up putting not only her life in danger, but that of those she cares about the most. Because she's pulled away from her family legacy, she's missed out on some very important training needed to prepare her to step up as Alpha.

Of course, her family didn't let her go out into the big bad world without some guidance. Her sister did the best she could helping to raise Lily after their mother's death and then there's Wallace...

Wallace Kirk has been at Lily's side since she was born. He's protected her from harm and herself on more than one occasion. This includes relieving her of the intense sexual urges that take over during the full moon when she's "in heat." What I wouldn't give for my very own Wallace. YUMMO!

Things get a bit more complicated when Lily's true mate comes on scene. Smokin' hot Bryn brings out all the right feelings in Lily when they meet and she wants him...oh does she ever! Of course this doesn't sit too well with Wallace. :) Of course both men/wolves have to put their head butting aside in order to protect Lily from not one but TWO villains hell bent on torturing and killing female Blackwood wolves.

This book grabbed my attention from the opening paragraphs and kept me riveted until the last word on my Kindle. The descriptions of every scene whether sexual or conflicts between the characters pull you right in and shake you to your core. I've loved every book I've read by this author and this one doesn't disappoint. Not only does she draw you into the sexual tension between the characters, she makes it so you can actually feel it yourself. When they do finally consummate, I was ready for a cigarette afterward and I don't smoke!

BRAVA!!! I want more of this series, like...yesterday! The author has introduced us to the world of the Blackwood wolves and their allies. I can't wait to see what she has in store for every single one of them. Oh and the villains are positively deLISH and I want to see what havoc they bring to Lily and her clan.

I was provide a copy of the book by the Author for an honest review.

I just finish reading this book and I love it, but of coursed I love anything and everything that has to do with vampire and wolves. I love the characters and love how the books turn out to be, I love it how the author gets to explain how the characters are feeling, I did not wanted to finish reading this book at all, I love it that's why I am gone keep this short since I don't want to give anything away.

Lily is a wolves she comes from a strong family of wolves, she works at a gallery she manage to put the painting on display, all she want to do is leave her life freely, she don't want the pack life, once she talk to her father about what she want to do, the permission is granted on one condition, she needs some one to watch over her, that's where her best friend, lover, and loyal Wallace come in, he goes every where with her, it has being few time where Lily though that he was her mate, one day after a new client had a meeting with her, she notice that his painting where a little creepy, after that meeting her and her other best friend they when out for lunch, that's when she bump into Bryn, after he told her that he was gone be protecting her she did not like that at all, but what she was so confuse was why he made her feel the way she was feeling, Bryn knew that Lily was his true mate and her knew that he need it to work hard for she could accept her destiny, the question is would she denied him of accept him.

I really love and enjoy reading this book, I love the way that this characters act with each other, love it that Lily is an Alpha wolves, love their attitude, Author Bonnie Bliss THANK YOU for introducing me to this amazing characters and this awesome book love it.

First, I loved the cover! Love the color and the wolf in the background is great, like danger lurking in the shadows. Though I guess that is the point since there is definitely danger lurking in the shadows for Lily Blackwood. This is the first book in the Blackwood Wolves series and it was awesome! It was an excellent start to the series, it give us enough background about the Blackwood wolves pack and some of the mysticism the comes along with the Blackwood name. And also their very long feud with their nemesis, a vampire who loves wolf blood, and there is nothing better to him than Blackwood blood.
Lily has tried to escape the reality of her future as Alpha. She moves to the city, goes to school, gets her degree and now works at an art gallery. But destiny can only be put on hold for so long and when she starts to realize that she needs to take her rightful place in the pack and is bombarded with information and is on info overload, she finds that she and her sister may also be the target of their greatest enemy. Wallace is Lily's best friend, he protects her and helps her in her times of need, but unfortunately he is not her true mate. Bryn, who is switching places with Wallace for protective duty, may just be the candidate that Lily is looking for. But will they find out before danger strikes?

If I had to choose who it would be, I'd say Wallace, he just did something for me in this story. Totally Alpha hot, lol. I thought this was a great introduction to the series, and an amazing read full of action and shifter hotness. I'm totally looking forward to the next installment.

This is the story of Lily Blackwood. Lily is of werewolf royalty and fighting against her very nature, she wants to live a ‘normal human’ life and will do anything to make this happen.

Lily has a sexual relationship with her bodyguard Wallace, although they are not mates. There is a real love between the two of them but Lily is mated to another. A mating she doesn’t remember happening.

Bryn is the wolf who claimed Lily as a teenager and then left her high and dry but now he’s back and he wants Lily back but there is danger lurking.

The book took me on a suspense filled journey. I love shifter stories and this book is no different it has its highs, lows and points were I couldn’t bare to keep reading but I couldn’t stop because I had to find out what happened, regardless of the fact the suspense had me in its grip!

I love the characters and if I was Lily I’d seriously offer a polygamous relation to both Wallace and Bryce. What? A girl can dream can’t she……

The scene’s melted into one another flawlessly and the dialogue just flowed through the book making it impossible not to be dragged in and affected by what was happening. You get mad with the characters, you get sad with them and you get downright scared with them too.

This is the first book in the series and although it does leave you wanting more, it also leaves you satisfied with the ending.

I can’t wait for book #2 in the series. R.L. Kirk, you have a new fan.

Thank you, thank you, thank you to Paranormal Romance and Authors That Rock for this fabulous free read. This book was awesomesauce! It was also HOT HOT HOT!

Lily Blackwood has denied her wolf destiny for a long while, choosing to live a normal human life. Now, with a war on the rise and the sudden appearance of her true mate in her life, will she embrace her wolf and step up as the Female Alpha she is destined to be?

Dayummmm, this book was filled to the brim with all of my favorites! First of all, Hot Alpha Men! Lots of them. This is going to be a great series because these awesome authors (yes, there are more than one, but you would never know it) wrote so many interestingly sexy characters. Wolfs, Vampires, and some beings that leave you guessing exactly what they are! I need to know RL Kirk, so you better not keep me waiting too long! Second, a love triangle! I am just a sucker for some romantic sexual angst! Third, just a damn good story of good versus evil! And I feel like its just getting started. The lines between good and evil were so clearly drawn in the beginning but I feel like I was thrown for a loop at the end of the book which left me feeling like "what the heck just happened?". And I loved it! It just makes me anticipate the next book all the more.

I really, really liked this book in case you couldn't tell. :) I am impatiently awaiting the next one!

Amidst an age old battle of good vs. evil she must decide between the two of them, the one fated for her or the one that holds her heart.

Blackwood: Lily, the brain child between two authors to make up the dynamic duo of R.L. Kirk is promising to be an amazing voice in the paranormal romance genre. The writing is so smooth I would have never guessed it was two separate minds that filled the pages, and the world is one that is so realistic and well built that it leaves you looking around you, wondering if there are bigger secrets out there. Lily, Wallace and Bryn make up a love triangle full of every emotion. Heat, angst, heartbreak, drama, this book had it all. Lily was a spoiled brat, a princess, but there was growth to her character as we went along. Bryn and Wallace were fantastic characters that made you fall in love with them, unable to choose any more than Lily. Even though it's a series and there is much more to tell, there were luckily no cliffhangers, leaving you hanging for the next book.

I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the author through the Goodreads group, "Lovers of Paranormal". Blackwood: Lily is a book centered on werewolves but the concept is about the heroine finding love in the midst of a war between werewolves and vampires.

This was such a good book, and it had me quickly turning pages in anticipation of finding out what happened next. The characters were set up wonderfully, and now I find myself waiting, not so patiently, for the next book in the series.

The only thing that was a little bit of an issue for me was the amount of people that were introduced into the story. There were so many that I found myself, on the last half, doing searches on names to see if they were mentioned earlier on in the book. Plus, I didn't fall in love with Bryn, feeling that he was too weak to be one of the heroes for such a strong heroine. I did however fall for other characters, which is why I'll be looking forward to the next story. Don't keep us waiting too long.

I struggled with this book if I am being perfectly honest. It has taken me a long time to finish it. I didn't like all the character flips in the beginning of the book and I didn't think I would be able to finish the book, but around the time that lily, Bryan,Lizzie, and carter go out on the date I started to become attached to the characters. I love he Blackdagger Brotherhood books and this series will follow that type of book with a different type of super. When Uberman has Lily it gets really graphic, but to establish just how crazy he is the write got the point across. By the end of the book I am invested in Lily, Bryn, and Wallace. I am excited to read the next book and find out what is in store for Wallace and when he is going to find out his mate is still alive. I would like to than R.L for sharing this world with us

Just finished Blackwood:Lily

It was pretty good. Anything with shapeshifters I will give a try. Lily is basically royalty. Cousins with Killian, top alpha in the Blackwood Pack. Bryn is her mate. Wallace is her friend. Wallace has known her since her birth. Watched over her and was her lover. Bryn was her pet at one time to watch out for her. Things got out of control, Bryn left so Lily could basically come to age and when he felt that she was ready. He has been summoned to protector her again.

A lot of jealousy, a lot of heat.

Pretty good read

I don't really know where to start... This book was an amazing read. Lilly is a different character but one I really enjoyed reading about. Wallace and Bryn. What a choice. I won't go into too many details so I don't give anything away, but wow what a read.

Very well written and incredibly hard to put down. I couldn't get enough. In fact I want more. A great read for all you paranormal fans out there. I can't really say enough. A part of me wants to gush over every detail, but you will just have to read it for yourself.

Blackwood: Lily is a book that I enjoyed. I wasn't sure how it would play out, but I was pleasantly surprised. The story line was easy for me to follow. The plot was well thought out. I liked that the main character, Lily, is such a mess. The characters as a whole were good. I thought they were quite interesting. Well written. A good add to your tbr list. Recommended read.

The world weaved by R. L. Kirk truly blossomed my imagination more than any other book I've read. I loved that this wasn't your typical, "broody sparkle, abs made of young boy flesh" wolves. They were hard core. Lily was simply fantastic as was Killian and yummy Wallace. I can't wait to see more from this author!

I got this book from the author, free of cost, in exchange of an honest review from my side.

Firstly I would love to thank R. L. Kirk, author of Blackwood Lily for giving me this opportunity of reading and reviewing this awesome book.

I got this book from Lovers of Paranormal Group of Goodreads under the Read to Review scheme.

Wow! What a rocking story, I really enjoyed it from my heart. This book has all the spices and other elements you require to have an awesome reading experience. Here we meet Lily who is destined to be the female Alpha of the Blackwood Clan which is the royal bloodline of Werewolf but she doesn't want all these and just want to be a normal human so she goes off to the city and gets hold of a degree by going to college like normal humans but when she realizes that grave dangers are lurking around and her whole clan is in danger from their arch Nemesis – an evil bloodthirsty Vampire, will she change her decision and take her rightful place as the Alpha? Not just that she has another problem on hand. Guess what? Absolutely, guy problems like us all, right girls? On one hand she gave her heart to her protector Wallace but unfortunately he isn't her mate and on the other hand we have Bryn who is chosen by fate and family to be her mate but she doesn't want that. That is a great problem, right? Who would she choose? Will she be able to get her mind and heart in harmony before the evil attacks or would they all get defeated?

A great start to an awesome series and I just fell in love with Wallace because she is caring, loving and doesn't boos around and I didn't like Bryn because he is a jerk who left Lily alone as a teenager but now he is back to claim her as her own. The other characters are great as well and I liked the side characters too. The writing style of the authors is awesome and it doesn't seem for one moment that this story is written by more than one author because the dialogues and the plot descriptions are so much in sync that it seemed to come from one single source.

The action scenes are awesome and the book is full of mysteries which kept me hooked in. Moreover I loved the sizzling love triangle; it just added more spices to the story making it and intriguing read for the readers. The passionate romance and the jealously and angst was worth my time and I enjoyed every bit of it. Over all a great and highly recommended read for ya all and hope that you guys will love it just like I did.

Would like to thank the author and LOP for gifting me this book for a honest review

This book is about werewolves, which I love, Lily Blackwood is your young un mated werewolf, The Blackwoods are werewolf Royalty. All Lily wants is to live life has normal as possible, as a human. She really wants nothing to do with werewolf poitics, is afraid to be mated, doesnt want to be controlled. Wallace is her bodyguard/friend/lover, he has always been there for her. Then theres Bryn Lily's true mate, but Lily doesnt know that Bryn is her mate, and doesnt remember him. She is attracted to both men. There has been some very gruesome killings of werewolf woman, so everyone is on high alert and working to find the killer. Lily realizes that she needs to setp up and be the werewolf she was meant to be and she needs her mate.

I did enjoy reading this book, I liked that we got different POVs, even from the villians in this book. I liked the plot and this werewolf life that we get. But I just could not get into alot of the characters, Lily was always complaining that she didnt want to be mated and stepup as a wolf, then she blames everyone for letting her live life normal and not making her step up. Then theres Wallace and Bryn, they just didnt do it for me. Will be reading the next book to see what happens next. Thanks again

Blackwood is a dark tale. Don't expect the loving vampires or werewolves with this story. There are two killers on the loose a vampire and a hybrid and they don't show any mercy to the wolves and humans that fall prey. The story is full of heartache, murder and torture. I like that since the authors add a villain they went all the way and didn't half step.

I like the story but the Blackwood's were so hyped up and I kept waiting and waiting for them to show me what they were made of and they did...nothing. It was such a letdown. The only one that got out there and did something to prove their worth was our tortured soul Wallace. I really enjoyed him and I felt for him having to give up Lily. I also enjoyed the mysterious Murphy clan too. I'm looking forward to reading more about them and hopefully the Blackwoods' will step up and show why their name is feared. By the time Lily and Bryn finally hooked up, I really didn't care anymore and found myself wishing the story was the other way around. That Bryn was the one that she sleep with and Wallace ended up being her mate. I wanted a better fight but the villains put a hurting on the Blackwood's. Hopefully the next round will be a better match.

This one was definitely very dark. It contains scenes or rape and torture. So not for the faint of heart.

It was a fast read but I was very confused at times. There were a lot of characters to remember and just a lot going on.

I really liked all the main characters. Lily, Wallace, and Bryn. The chapters would sometimes alternative different peoples POV's but it was always labeled. Mainly those three but there were a few others thrown in.

Lily is a very independent female that doesn't want to be another alpha bitch. She just wants to live her life and not have to rule a pack. She could be very stubborn and childish at times but overall I liked her. Wallace is just an alpha male. He's been around for a very long time and care about Lily and wants what's best for her. He's her best friend and protector. They both love each other but aren't mates. Bryn is great. He wants what's best for Lily. She's his mate. I like how the sort of take things slow. It was very hot between them but it wasn't sex right away.

The story was very suspenseful. There was sexy scenes sporadically throughout but it wasn't all that the story was about. It was a really good and fast read. Just a lot to take in. I'm curious about the rest of the series and seeing how it all plays out.

I'm very choosy when it comes to paranormal / Urban Fantasy books. They are not my normal pick. I have come across some authors that can deliver the story in a way I love and others that I just can't wrap my head around. Bonnie Bliss is one of the ones that does not go way out on the limb and keeps it more real. I love that. This book is action packed not a moment is spared that doesn't have something exciting going on in it. I will say it was a little slow at the start but once started I could not put this book down.

I was very torn between wanting Lily to choose Wallace and yet wanting her to have her soul mate Bryn. Lots of emotions in this book. Looking forward to the next chapter in this series.

This is a great book. It is rough and raw but really fun. I really like the characters. Lily is a great Alpha, even if she does not know it, yet. I love seeing her grow into who she becomes. I enjoy Bryn and Wallace, they are a lot of fun. I enjoyed their "alpha male" war. If you want a fun and exciting book with down to earth characters, here is your book!
