Even while bound, gagged and blind-folded she refuses to give up hope, because hope is all she has to hold on to.

Continue on this incredible roller coaster ride of suspense and emotion to find out that Shay Baynes is no ordinary damsel. Watch as her inner power grows, and she begins to become enlightened with just how amazing she can be.
Bella's motto has always been that you can choose to watch life pass you by or your can be the one spinning the world. You have to get out and live, life won't come to you!
Bella has always seen things in the world with a different view and has been an avid story-teller. She is enjoying putting her crazy musings into print for others to enjoy.
To her, one of the most exciting parts of writing is getting a chance to interact with readers. It is truly her hope that readers will reach out and tell her what they like and even don't like about her stories. She's looking forward to a relationship with the readers to better write stories they will love.

*Warning: This is book 3 and the books do need to be read in order. May contain spoilers*
If it's one thing I've learned about Ms. Roccaforte or her books it's that nothing is predictable. Just when I thought something was going to work out for the better, take a turn for the worst, or a character finally had his/her shit together, everything did a 180!
Shay has been kidnapped but it's not who she thinks it is. She manages to see Detective Glass, but she's only put there. Even though he didn't kidnap her, he still doesn't do anything to help her and Shay is able to escape. He knows she was in his garden shed. He did nothing to help her and that's aiding a criminal. This cop is a real scumbag. I hope he IS next on the Spectre's list...
I was right about Bailey being who I thought he was. It ruined Shay's relationship with her friend, at least for now.
I'm really torn with Eli. I thought I liked him, I WANT to like him, but what's with making her beg and dragging her off to marry? He's so threatened by any other guy and although he isn't outwardly aggressive, he's passive aggressive. That's actually worse, b/c that's the kind of thing you don't see until it's too late. He's risking his damn good law career by playing cock fight with McNab now that Aiden is gone again. Aaaaand there's another shady mofo I thought was a good guy, but now I'm not so sure about. McNab. He seems to know a lot more than he's letting on, and stringing people along with what he may or may not know in very small increments. His paranormal investigating is seemingly a lot more than that. It's tough to tell who's side he's really on, since he does nothing but bait Shay and Eli, thus testing their relationship.
In fact almost every relationship in this book is tested. Even that with Carl, the trusty paranormal 'body guard'. While I believe Carl is a good guy and is helping Shay develop her psychic abilities and does a lot to protect Shay., it's still clear that he's friends with McNab and as I said, that guy's losing my good graces.
I'm kind of lost as to what's going on with Aiden though. One minute they found his truck with blood, the next he's showing up at the police station kissing Shay. WTH?
The Spectre is getting ever closer to Shay, using people she thought she could trust. It's the Devil basically. Once he gets in a small crack and plants a seed of doubt or destruction, it only widens and things get worse from that point on.
She's dealing with a stalker, a threat from the organization that her father works for, hearing about Aiden's supposed death, Eli tricking her into marriage and then she's thrown in jail since all of the crimes are pointing at her. Talk about a downward spiral. Friendships, relationships and alliances are all being tested. I really can't wait to see where this goes -It'll be interesting to see how it all works out.
This is probably the hardest review I have had to write. it's not because I hated this book but the complete opposite! I don't know how to put into words how much I loved this book! I have followed these characters along the series thus far and grown quite attached to them. This is book 3 in the series and im so emotionally tied up. Bella has the most incredible writing style no one compares to it. In a world of reputation this is refreshing and original. She captivated me from page one. Every time I thought I figured something out, I was wrong. I enjoy books that keep you guessing and entertained. Even though I got mad at the author several times, this has been my favorite so far. A few things were tied up and a few more were opened up. I am waiting so impatiently for the next one.
I received a arc of this book yet had no reflection on my review.
Oh My God! This is, by far, the best of all the INK series. Wow, this is a hard review to write because I don't want to give anything away at all.
Nothing is predictable in this book. There were parts that I just wanted to slap Bella, and I did message her a few times with some choice words and name calling.
Shay is still fighting with the Specter. The Specter is still trying to get her. More people are murdered. Some questions answered, but still wondering about most.
Bella has written an amazing series that just gets better and better and more intense with each book. There were a few scenes that I needed tissues for because you think one thing happened and a few pages later, it's not what you thought at all. I love her cliffhangers and how they leave you wanting more. I am already asking for book 4.
First, I must start by saying that my review jumps around a bit because I can't give everything away. Shay has been kidnapped but she is a fighter! She manages to see the culprit and is able to escape. With the help of McNab, he and Eli are able to find her. She is working through her traumatic experience while also dealing with a stalker, a dear person's death, while having another possible threat from the organization that her father works for. She is finally thrown in jail. Things aren't always as they seem. She is developing her powers and is growing wonderfully. Again, reader beware...this is a crazy rollercoaster of a story with a ton of twists and turns that will keep your head spinning. There is a huge surprise at the end. Once again Bella has written a phenomenal story that will make you love to hate her. Must Read!!!
This one is the best in the series so far! I am blown away by how complex this mystery is and all of the great characters that Bella has written. I can't believe we get to experience more of this great story with even more books.
Looking forward to see what happens with Shay and the mysterious specter.
I received an advanced copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
From beginning to end, INK: Abstraction had my head spinning. Every time I thought I might have some small inkling of what was going on, Bella would rip the rug right out from under with another twist or turn. I think I have more questions now than I did after Fine Lines. I can't wait to see where she takes us next.
wow. this is the best in the series so far. I loved it. just when you think everything is settling down, BAM! it all goes to hell in a handbag again. a must read!
I received an advance copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
So well written this book will torture you in every way possible. I can't wait to see how this all maps puts I really can't guess. Just brilliantly done
It is still a heart racing book, this one is the best, and they are all great. Everyone is still trying to prove that Shay hasn't killed anyone, but the police find enough evidence that Aiden is dead and Shay killed him. She goes to jail and when she gets out low and behold is that Aiden? I cried while reading this, it was like I could feel Shays heartbreak. I cannot wait for the next book.
I was given this book for an honest review, SN Reviews
One word.....DAMN!! I love this series! I was so excited to dive back into this awesome story with such amazing characters. Abstraction is honestly one hell of a ride! And the ending...WOWZA! ❤️. Diving into Book 4 now!
Very well written, very suspenseful never knowing what was going to happen next. Never expected what happened at the end. A real page turner. Can't wait till the next part comes out.
I think this series would have to the best I have read for a long time. It hasn't followed suit of most fantasy/ sci-fi books. Definitely recommend to my friends to read
