Various is the correct author for any book with multiple unknown authors, and is acceptable for books with multiple known authors, especially if not all are known or the list is very long (over 50).
If an editor is known, however, Various is not necessary. List the name of the editor as the primary author (with role "editor"). Contributing authors' names follow it.
Note: WorldCat is an excellent resource for finding author information and contents of anthologies.
Warren's stories at the time were generally pretty weak, but it would still be safe with its two stars, if not for the quarter of the book reprinting comics from earlier volumes - because the one thing worse than a bad comic is a bad comic you've read before. Truly baffling editorial decision, as (oside from the first couple) earlier volumes handled the reprint issues with more respect for the reader (reprinting the cover, editorial, and letter pages, and adding notes whete to find the stories originally)
I was lucky and collected a full set of these magazines and got a chance to read the fantastic stories and enjoy the incredible art from many of the greats, many of who got their start here, from the comic world. If you like offbeat horror, supernatural, SiFi and just plan different stories then these are the magazines for you. Very recommended
