This was so far fetched from reality! Not really a love story. Just a couple who failed to communicate, which led to the wife cheating and asking to see other people, to see if it would draw them closer again. No details on the wife and who she sleeps with besides they have sex on the first day twice and he works at Waffle House. Kyrus ends up with a woman he met via a lame congressman at a party using her as a temporary escort. She likes the brother but falls for Kyrus after sex once and a few days together. They make a baby but he doesn’t find out for a year and the book ends. It was ok.

LIMBO” by Connie Easton may be short, but it packs a mighty punch. Sasha was completely out of line bringing that wild proposal to her husband Kryus—it’s the perfect example of playing stupid games and winning stupid prizes. Now, let’s talk about my boy Kryus. Despite having a demanding, high-level job, his love for his selfish wife, Sasha, was unmatched. It took her playing in his face and seeing how effortlessly my girl Jinori brought him peace for him to finally “CHOOSE HIMSELF.”
Speaking of Jinori, she absolutely stole the show. Even without the perfect family setup, she knew exactly what she wanted and what she wouldn’t tolerate. She was strong, grounded, and brought a sense of calm amidst the chaos.
What really set this book apart was the misdirection. Just when I thought I had everything figured out, the story flipped in a completely unexpected direction. It kept me on my toes from start to finish. This gripping read might just be my favorite from Connie Easton yet. If you haven’t picked it up, do yourself a favor and give it a read!

Kyrus had such a demanding job and I get sometimes he’s too tired and have a lot on his mind where he can fall short on his husband duties. But boyyy the love, loyalty and respect he had for his wife was just so attractive. I love a man that shows his emotions it’s sexy. The way his wife played in his face was so messed up but bruh got the last laugh.
Sasha was stupid. Whats wrong with communication and therapy? Honestly she got what she deserved. She was just selfish and spoiled.
Jinori was a confident woman. She knew what she was capable of and wanted. She was blunt and spoke her mind. She was a cool chick.
I had a whole different scenario of how this was gonna turn out and I was all the way wrong lol.

I would pay top dollar to purchase tickets just to roam through Connie Easton’s mind. This read had me too stunned to speak - LITERALLY!!!
Jinori is pushing 30 and out of all her sisters, the only single one. She is the black sheep and always left out. She yearns for a family, to be welcomed in love and catered to how she caters to others. Even the new “situationship” with Unc is unsettling and goes up in flames.
But a chance meeting with Congressman Coleman, his brother, Kovi and his vindictive wife, Sasha puts her in a predicament she never saw coming.
Let me tell you up front…Opening a marriage of 15 years is crazy. Doing it in front of each other is insane, but to look your husband in the eyes and watch his heart break just to prove a point is an evil I will never understand.

First off, I love stories with a plot that I ain’t ever heard of. Sasha set herself up w that one tho. What precious mama say on the movie… “you’re a dummy b*tch” LMAO that’s exactly how i felt towards his wife. But lmaooo yo, i ain’t gon lie this book was super fast paced so it’s a nice quick lil read as it should’ve been with it being 7 chapters. It was literally a roller coaster tho! 😭😭 I believe this is the first book I’ve read of the authors but I’ll be def be checking out more :)

I was on pins and needles wondering just how this whole limbo situation truly was going to go. And boy did it go a way that made this feel like such a cute and cozy quick read.
And sasha ! Girl (side eye) I knew what game she was pulling. The thing is, she didn't expect Ky to have the support and genuine love around him to open his eyes. Loved this quick read. And loved that I couldn't really figure out the plot as it was already coming in strong with a different path.

This was a quick read I love that this read shows a more vulnerable husband Kyrus was a busy congressman his wife Sasha would argue but never say what’s her actual issue are but brings in the LIMBO agreement they get to choose the spouses 30 day cheat partner…I was invested in this book like they were a real couple cause ain’t no way im choosing Jinori as my husbands partner that man was committed but the wife must just wanted to be slut*ed out….wish it was longer and can Kovi book

But that’s exactly what Sasha brought to the table for Kyrus and let me tell you, from the moment she said it, I knew she was on something other than healing.
It felt like sis just wanted to have her cake, eat it too, and then go back for seconds. I get that their relationship was off track, and you could feel the disconnect between them, but this was extreme. And the fact that she handpicked the woman for her husband? Whew, girl. She really thought she was in control…
But let’s just say she got way more than she bargained for, hunnnnti.
Now I can’t spoil too much because the book is short and moves fast, but trust, the drama hits early, and it doesn’t let up. The tension, the emotions, the “wait, what just happened?” moments had me flipping pages like I was on a mission.
Go read it, then come back and tell me how you felt because baybee… Sasha was not ready.

Once Ky let his walls down, the chemistry between him and Ri was undeniable. They found their peace in one another and it happened fast. In a way, I felt bad for little bro but I know he’ll find what he needs and RI wasn’t it.

What therapist told you needs to be fired I have never in my life Heard Limbo Sasha did this because it was something she wanted to do nothing about saving there marriage....
I will say he got a second chance at happiness and someone who really loves you and wants you I know in the beginning she showed that she.... Like Kovi but them feelings went fast!!!!

Listen! Sasha thought she had a plan and truly fumbled! Lol I think I was surprised with the connection that Ky and Jinny had. I swear I thought it was going to be Kovi the whole time! Great connection with Ky and Jinny! Sasha got everything she deserved and loved the ending as well!

The grass isn’t always greener
I loved every minute of this story and I’m mad it was a short read lol. But baby that wife should have been careful on what she put into play, she’s left with that grass that wasn’t greener but it sure was for Ky! Connie did it again!! Definitely a great read and all will enjoy!

He’s a good man Savannah. No but really he’s a good man. Sasha encouraged her husband to complete a 30 day fling with other people inside their house. I know what you’re thinking…. Oh like a foursome. No like an open marriage. Sasha thinks this limbo rendition will help her marriage. 😳 this arrangement can either push her husband away or bring them closer.

This was my first book by her and it was an amazing. Jhnori and Kyrus was destined for each other soon as they met.
