I like the writing style - the hero was a bit of a potato. Let his agent push him around a bit and not much angst. Again I wish the heroine actually had a life not only raising daughter while Mr woe is me certainly enjoyed his life 🙄 that being said I enjoyed the read bc of the way this author writes. First time reading a book from this one.

Rockstar Daddy's Second Chance: A Billionaire Forced Proximity Romance

Absolutely a fantastic love story. Very well written. I was hooked from the first page. The Chemistry between everyone was electric. As the story unfolds the action continues with so many twists and turns it keeps you on the edge of your seat wanting to....... No Needing to know what is going to happen next.
I will definitely be looking forward to reading more from Kelly Thomas.

Cass & Kendrick

This is tame for a rockstar romance but I like it! It’s a sweet story of a second chance love. Both main characters are reasonable and level headed. It didn’t have much angst but it didn’t have a lot of profanity, which I liked. There were some sexy scenes. It left me feeling good!

A second chance love story with drama, secrets and heat. Kendrick’s decision to leave Cass all those years ago gave him a chance to become a famous rockstar but also denied him being a father. Now 11 yrs later by pure coincidence he gets a second chance at love and at fatherhood. Kendrick as a single mother managed to bring up a beautiful sweet and talented girl but there was always something missing and that was the love of her life that she left behind so he could make his dreams come true but as we follow their journey we see it’s filled with deception and lies from outside intervention. Can they recover the love they once had? Can they have their hea? A well written and enjoyable read, great MCs and family but Derrick really was a piece of work.

Not the best

The book started off with too much too soon. There was no lead up to Cass finding out about his daughter. It wasn’t anticlimactic at all that I lost interest shortly around the time Cass let his parents know about Cassidy.

OH WOW this was a great story. I absolutely loved it. It was a steamy page turner and the suspense was incredible intense and heartbreaking. I was on the edge of my seat and I couldn’t even put it d literally. They were in a long relationship since they were in high school sweethearts. Kendrick’s decision to leave Cass after all these years to perused his rockstar lifestyle. One night with will change her life forever but a painful moment. After years has passed he came back to his hometown to perform but he never thought that he would have seen her again until now with a child . It had just blow his mind. What a surprise that she had ran into her ex’s boyfriend. Will she give him a second chance at love and being father as well. Or will the truth come out when he see the child looks like him and act like him as well.
I definitely recommend this book and you won’t be disappointed. I received advance copy of this book via Bookfunnel and am voluntarily leaving my honest opinion. Trina Jones

Rockstar second chance romance

A brilliantly written story, with great characters, steamy chemistry, intrigue, deception, lies, twists and a lovely HEA. A great story to read and one I couldn't put down, would strongly recommend.

Kendrick had left Cass twelve years ago so he could pursue his career and become a rockstar. But Cass had never forgotten her and wondered why she'd disappeared. When an eleven year old sneaks in backstage at one of his concerts both he and a bandmate can't help but notice the similarities in her with an old acquaintance, and are both pleased and surprised when they meet her mum.

Kendrick agrees for her and Cassidy to move in with Cass for the summer so he and his daughter can get to know each other. But Cass isn't just wanting to connect with Cassidy, he's also hoping for a second chance with her mum as he knows he doesn't want to lose her again.

I do not think I would call this a "forced proximity" book. While the main characters are reunited by their daughter on accident they fall back into each other very quickly. Almost too quickly for my taste. I was a little disturbed by how easily Kendrick just let her child go off with Cass's parents. I get they are her grandparents but no woman I know is going to let people who just came into her 11 year olds life take her off for a few days. If you can get past that and how quick everything falls into place again it is a very cute little book. I would love it if we could now see what happens between Emily, Cass's sister and his band mate Sam. There were definitely some sparks there!

A second chance rockstar romance with lots of bumps on the road to a second chance. Both main characters held my attention and were easy to cheer on towards a happily-ever-after. It's pretty tame in both language and sexual category which some readers prefer. A tender story with lots of wonderful dialogue. There's one character specifically that you'll love to hate!

That less than attention-grabbing title just about detoured me from this book. It does not do justice to the story. Otherwise, Kelly Thomas, a new-to-me author, has me wanting to read the second book in this new series -- hopefully, it'll be Emily's story.

What better way to rock in the day than by reading this hot blue eyed rockstar romance book. Cass is absolutely going to take you on a ride and when he meets his daughter for the first time get ready because things are about to take off in a whole new direction for both Kendrick and Cass. The best part of this entire storyline is how romantic Cass gets at the end. I don't want to ruin the ending but let me tell you it is really romantic.

Sweet Rockstar Second Chance Love story

Cass's heart broke when Kendrick left him.12 years ago with no warning and no note. He sure is shocked when an 11-year-old version of Kendrick appears in his dressing room after a concert.
This story has lots of emotion and a good amount of spice and a sweet happy ending.

Fun read

Nice romance. Really like the characters. One thing is a no no and that's being friends with someone who has been in bed with your guy. It was disappointing that Kendrick gave up singing. Also her daughter taking her moms personal songs to give someone else to sing. Not right. These books are nice reading. I read them more than once.

Great rockstar romance

From the start to the finish this book kept me wanting more. Loved the romance between Kendrick and Cass and finding out Cassidy was his daughter was the icing on the cake.Derrick trying to cause trouble makes things rough but their love stays strong. Loved this story.

I really liked this story. The characters were good. I wanted some more closure, especially with the evil one but also, did Pixie pay for that song?! Kendrick forgave Cassidy so quick for that …

The pacing was good. The plot was good. It was a quick and delightful read.
