State-hopping RV traveler, Tulia Blake and her assistant, Olivia, are staying in a hotel in Chicago while Tulia’s RV is getting some regular maintenance done. Because their stay was scheduled at the last minute, they have to share a suite, but the gorgeous view of Lake Michigan more than makes up for the minor inconvenience.

Feeling upbeat and ready to get back into the swing of things after a long vacation and a few quiet days catching up on work in Indiana, they’re excited to explore everything that Chicago has to offer.

Their plans take a dark turn, however, when the two of them witness a murder. The culprit vanishes down an alley, which leads Tulia to believe that the primary suspects are likely to be the people who work at the businesses that back up into the alley – a boutique pet store and grooming salon, a donut shop, and a used bookstore.

Certain that one of the locals is hiding a dark secret, Tulia is determined to uncover the truth.

Entertaining mystery listening 🏙🐦

Tulia and Olivia are in Chicago where they get involved in a murder! Tulia keeps asking questions leading to the murderer and a happy ending 🤓

I would highly recommend this series and author to readers of friends travel adventure mystery novels 😵😲. 2025 👒🤔

Another great addition to the series

Tulia and Olivia head to Chicago for a week of filming for the series. After getting into the city after dropping off the RV in the suburbs at a storage lot they checked into the hotel and got settled. Then they decided to go for a walk to find a restaurant for dinner. As they were moving down the block they passed a homeless man who Tulia felt bad for and gave him some money and then moved on. After they ate they got a sandwich to drop off to him. When they got there he was not there. After that the mystery deepens and there are lots of twists and turns it is a surprise ending. A fun read.

This time Tulia and Olivia head to Chicago to immerse themselves in the Windy City. They decide to stay in a hotel. As they are walking around the nearby shops they meet a homeless man who was a zookeeper. Later that same individual is murdered. Can Tulia figure out who did it to get the man some justice? Mysteries and murders always seen to find her and this one was interesting. Another great tale of Tulia and Olivia’s adventures traveling to the states Tulia hadn’t visited. Looking forward to the next one.

I felt so bad for the person who was killed in this book since they were just trying to do the right thing, so I was rooting for Tulia to uncover the killer. She uncovered the killer as well as something else illegal going on. Wow I thought for a while there, ole Cicero was gonna get a parrot sibling, but Cicero does take up a lotta room both in the RV and Tulia’s heart. Can’t wait to see what happens at the next stop.

Tulia is starting to remind me of Jim Cantore from the Weather Channel. In the south, if he shows up in your town, RUN! Likewise, if Tulia shows up in your town, leave. It's not safe to be around her, no matter where she goes people die. I'm surprised that her husband doesn't investigate her a serial killer at this point. I considered Cicero a suspect, but he wasn't in Alaska or Hawaii, so it couldn't be him. Stay tuned...

Trouble in the big city

Tulia & Olivia are in Chicago for their next filming stop. Whole exploring the city on their first night they find themselves in the middle of a crime. Very good story. I can’t wait to see where they go next.

A schedule RV maintenance in Chicago turns into another murder investigation fpr Tulia and Olivia. They end up witnessing a murder. Will they be able to catch a killer before the killer catches them? A fast paced quick cozy read.

Great story that was a bit different than the majority of the series. Yes there’s still a mystery and Cicero is still tagging along. But instead of camping and hiking the setting is a large metropolitan city. The characters are engaging and as always the book is well written. Next stop???

Chicago is my second favorite city. I was so excited to see the book take place there. I loved everything about it. What a fun read. I am even more excited that the next place they will travel to is Iowa. My home state.

I feel the same as one of the other reviewers in that I feel sorry for the victim in this story. He was a decent man, looking only to help someone. The story was good, surprising who the villain was. Recommend reading.

The big city has multiple problems closer than you think

So much for having an easy walk down the street from their hotel. Nothing happens without a reason. But tragedy needs to be addressed and helped. And then other issues are uncovered.

Another fun adventure with Tulia and Cicero! It was a nice change to be in the city with this one. While I love small towns and nature it’s always fun when the scenery has so much to offer. This installment packs a lot into a shorter read. I don’t know how the author does it but she hits the mark every time. I thought I knew where the story was headed but I was happily wrong. Loved this one as much as all the others…excited for the next adventure!
