Saint drugging Yara kidnapping her & taking her to Turks against her will is CRAZY & that was not okay at all. Him crashing out because Yara was rightfully going to leave him was also very unnecessary… He publicly humiliated her with all the cheating he was doing while they were engaged and didn’t say sorry once. He took no accountability for his actions but was doing everything in his power to force Yara to be back with him that’s not scary to yall? Fictional or not if anyone pulls a stunt like that LEAVE THEMMM!!!
Yara absolutely needed to get with Isaiah and I don’t understand why he was introduced just to be a throw away character.

Rushed much

This book had a hurried quality that left much to be desired. While the central storyline was intriguing and filled with potential, many of the character arcs felt incomplete and left unresolved, leaving readers yearning for deeper connections and closure. The rushed pacing detracted from the rich emotional depth that could have elevated the narrative, resulting in a sense of dissatisfaction that lingered long after turning the final page.

This part two was a big let down. My biggest gripes involve Saint and Yara. I’m glad she was mature enough to direct her frustrations at Saint and not go too crazy on Amari. The problem is there was no growth, Saint ain’t even apologize, and go out and make his declarations because the apology ALWAYS NEEDS TO BE AS LOUD AS THE Embarrassment. I don’t think he ever uttered the words I’m sorry to Yara. Man used every opportunity to talk about the date she was on but not the reason why she was on said date. They allegedly had warrants for Yara because of Koi?? Where did that go. Like sorry this felt unfinished and haphazardly put together. It didn’t need to be a 3 part series or anything but this book def needed some revisions or parts worked through for clarity. As far as Amari I’m happy she got her happier ending but again why yall make characters miserable struggling single mamas who want to be married to not even give them that? Like yes we saw the big upgrade to her life but if you make it that your character is locked in and on her grind, with desires of being a wife, what’s with all the unprotected sex? With the lack of birth control ect to ensure they get what they say they want. Idk it just seems like authors start a series off strong and then toss a few things together just to finish the series

Great Read

I don't know why Malik was constantly going on Social Media talking s**t about Psalm and Amari. He dogged the hell out of Amari when they were together, didn't even help her take care of their son, and admitted he was screwing her best friend Koi. Psalm already embarrassed him and whooped his ass but evidently that wasn't enough because Psalm had to put hands on Malik again. The second time the whole world saw it. Koi was still a miserable, jealous, messy ass b***h. Since the truth came out about her screwing Malik and Saint left her alone. Koi was still using Social Media to start drama. She should've been trying to be a better mother to her daughter but Koi was vain. Koi tried lying and giving Amari a fake ass apology claiming Malik was lying about them sleeping together but Amari knew the truth. Since Amari wouldn't accept that bs apology. Koi tried dragging her but Amari ignored Koi. I felt sorry for Yara after she learned Koi was the chick Saint was cheating with and he had gotten her pregnant. I applaud Yara for not taking her anger out on Amari. When Yara dragged Koi. I was laughing. Koi had taunted Yara for too long and Yara was sick of it. Saint knew since he embarrassed the hell out of Yara. He had to work hard for her to forgive him.

I can't believe this is the follow up to book one.

Book one was lit AF.

This book was such a disappointment.

Mama Angel was messy.

Koi is a psychopath.

Jazmin was tolerable.

Amari getting pregnant was predictable. Congrats chick. Now you have two baby daddies & no ring. Yay you.

Why introduce Isiah's character? Yara got irritated with Isiah when he was showing that he was willing to fight for her but I guess persistency is unattractive.

Yara is making females everywhere look bad. Saint cheated on you, got the same chick pregnant, made her get an abortion, he was giving her money, & paying her bills, caused you public embarrassment, drugged you, & took you out of the country, & you still found a reason to work things out with him?!?

Where is the bar set for you in h*ll?!?

I dnf'd the moment Saint drugged Yara. I couldn't stomach anymore fuc*ery.

If you like reading about women who don't love themselves & condone toxicity, this is for you.

The Tea Was Piping Hot

I was anxiously awaiting this sequel. I had to get more of the drama. This book was packed full of it. Koi continued to be absolutely awful. She wasn’t punished enough for my liking. It was nice to see Amari flourishing even more. Her relationship with Psalm was surprisingly sweet. I wanted better for Yara. Saint would never be that for me. This was a good follow up to the first book. I was so invested in their antics. The whole duology kept me entertained.

why

This book was okay but I’m tired of the richer the man the more bullying! I mean drugging Yara when she wanted space??? Making them go out with you kidnapping them it’s all ridiculous at this point! Try being more creative than outlandish! I didn’t even finish after he drugged Yara after he had a whole relationship on the side and would have continued had he not been caught.

Good series!

This series was really & full of drama. Part 1 was definitely better and great introduction to the characters and how they ended up in current situations & relationships. Favorite couple was Psalm & Amari. Glad things worked out for them. Not sure if I like Yara's decisions in book 2 but assume she was thinking of her kids. Wished Koi would've been dealt with more, but would definitely recommend reading this series.

Loved the ending of the series glad Yara and Saint worked it out and Amari and Psalm having their baby and getting married soon as well. I was tight Malice did that weird shit but he got what was coming to him. Koi was so damn annoying and nothing good going to come from all her evilness. I’m happy for Jax and Dola.

Good Read

I enjoyed this series. Although book one definitely had more action, this was a good follow up. I love Amari and Psalm together. I wish Malik would have spent life in prison. Koi got off easy. She should have suffered more consequences. I’m glad Saint and Yara came to an understanding. I wish we could have explored Jazmine and Dola’s relationship.

Not Too Much Salt

The finale of "Salt Don't Go In Tea" was great! I loved how everything was wrapped and tied up in a neat little bow! Kio could have had a few (or a lot) series of unfortunate events just for karma's sake, a just exactly how did Malik meet his demise? Excellent story!

Book 2 didn’t disappoint. I’m not a fan of infidelity and forging men that cheat but there was just something about Saint and Yara that had me rooting for them. The two supporting characters became the main characters and I was not disappointed about this. I loved them and their journey.

My prediction about Dola and Jaz was spot on too. ❤️

Loved this book real bad! I loved Psalm he’s definitely the definition of a good man, love how Saint changed his ways as well that goes to show men change for who they really want! I couldn’t stand Koi she’s so miserable and it shows! Love this series over all, wish there was a part 3

So glad that Psalm was okay because I knew Malik was coming back for him after being humiliated on live and beat up. I’m glad that Amari and Psalms made things official and he helped with Prince even though that wasn’t his son. Great step father to have to mold him into the man he needs to be instead of his absent father. Koi finally got what she deserved and everyone found out how much of an industry pass around she was even her daughters dad took their child. She was unfit in every area. Yara finally gave Saint another chance after him realizing be didn’t want to be without her and his family. Great Finale 🔥🔥🔥

Perfect

Whew, this was a journey! Everyone got it all the way together, well maybe not Koi but miserable people love to live in their misery. Otherwise this book was redemption and second chances for everyone involved. I just found it appropriate that everyone Koi tried to break ended up winning. Jokes on her dumb self. Happy Reading Y'all!💋

Salty

The Housewives of the Chi was in full effect. Koi was so messy and full of crap. I wanted to mix on her real bad. Saint, you still didn't deserve my girl Yara back. Psalm had all the BDE I was looking for and he did right by my girl Amari. I loved that for her and Prince. Great series!!

Awww!

Such a romantic ending. I’m so glad Amari got everything she deserved. I wish Koi would’ve gotten more karma than she did but it’s fine. Yara & Saint, I wanted her to have a new love interest so bad. He absolutely doesn’t deserve her but I still enjoyed this read

Kept me interested

I enjoyed this. The characters had depth & it kelt my attention without being soap operaish. I would have like a little more insight on Saint and Yara, but overall it was a good read.

Ok

This book wasn't as good as book one. I guess since book one was more exciting, I was anticipating book 2 and it was boring. I've read other books by same author and I have enjoyed them.

Good read

This was a pretty decent series. I’m sorry but Saint just didn’t do it for me. I know the author tried to revived his character with the I’m a change man thing but I’ll pass on him. Now Psalm I loved his character. He is what the doctor ordered.

Good read

Koi is somwthing else man oh man. What happened to the police report she out in; Yara got off free? Did Angel ever find a man so she could stay out her sons business? I'm glad Amari for the ending that she did because she deserved it
