Levee is my new book boyfriend. Well of course until the next Character that I find in JG’s books
Levee is enjoying his single life as a member of the Glades Henchmen MC, Yeah, sure he enjoys all the benefits that come along with being a member of the club. All the parties and of course all the females that come along with this lifestyle,
but Levee Also takes care of his very cranky uncle that is also disabled the best way he can , doesn’t helped that he is also anti-social
Jade came to Florida with a 5-year plan, who Is an artist just trying to get ahead in life, But she was also trying to get away from the cold weather , and 2 the freaking snow…
She had grown up in A happy, middle-class upbringing, I believe it gave her False security at times….. But the woman had a heart of gold
I felt like both Levee and Jade are great characters, but of course they Keep secrets from each other due to the fact that it’s somewhat new……… But hopefully it doesn’t come back to bite them
Of course, I always enjoy seeing all the secondary characters…. I honestly can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed jade and Levy’s laid-back journey … And how much I enjoyed JG’S epilog to this amazing couple

Have I already told you how much I love Jessica's books?
Yes, I've probably done it at least a thousand times, but I'll say it again so you don't forget before the year is over.
I love her books, her writing style, her stories and her incredibly fascinating characters.
Levee is one of them.
He is the sunshine, positive party character in the other books from this series.
He's the relaxed guy who loves parties and girls.
He has no worries and is always thinking of new ways to have fun or to persuade others to do fun activities.
But, as is often the case in life, appearances are deceptive.
What you see and suspect is not always the truth.
Levee has anything but an easy life before he becomes an outlaw biker.
He is what she chose to be, and not to be like his family, like his father.

Jade is sunshine personified.
She sees something positive in everyone and everything.
She makes the world a better place with her existence.
And I mean it not sarcastic.
I love this girl and her patient for others.
She is all of that and more, but unfortunately, the rest of the world is not, which she painfully finds out in this book.

Levee
I love this author's world but this book was irritating. The MFC took forever to tell the MMC something bad was going on in her life and he was not ambitious about figuring it out even though she had been beaten. Like, what? Not every guy needs to be an alpha (and thank the gods they are not or the world would be more of a mess) but still, he knows someone put hands on her and he does not try hard to figure it out. Wtf? They are so busy being “spicy” that neither of them can pay attention to reality?
We're told that she grew up middle class,
“A happy, middle-class upbringing where I was insulated from so many of the hardships in life.”
And yet she is living in a high crime part of town which seems odd, and when she starts to witness bad stuff, she doesn't go to the police or tell anyone. Why? I think we're supposed to believe she is just really good at denial but then she keeps digging into the bad situation. I just had a really hard time understanding her thinking and his passivity.
I appreciated the aging grumpy uncle - it added variety to the story.

Caring Hearts
If you get nothing else from this book you learn that caring about people feels good. These were two people that always found a way to help. You knew as soon as they got together they would give everything to make the other happy. The romance was pure Steam!!! This proved to be a forever kind of Love. JG does it again!! I remain a devoted fan.

Jade and Levee are a fantastic couple! Jade is an artist trying to get ahead in life. While she is doing that, she lives across from Levee’s very cranky uncle. Levee is in the Golden Glades Chapter motorcycle club. While trying to get to know Jade, he is unaware that she has stumbled across some trouble of her own.
Levee is a fantastic story. The characters are all love able. And the story is entertaining. There is plenty of drama to keep the reader on their toes, and lots of swoon worthy parts. It is a fantastic addition to the rest of the series. And hopefully we can get many more stories about the club and side characters! I will read them all!

Perfection
I love all of these books and this one did not disappoint! As always Jessica leaves a wonderful tale of sass, love and a little bit of violence. If you have never read any of her books you should definitely start with the henchman they are my favorite.

Pretty Good
I was surprised by this book because I really didn’t have any interest in the MC thing. I liked Levee off the bat, even if he doesn’t look wiry in the cover photo. There were a few typos, including one of Levee‘s name being Alaric. Thought that was strange. Also, the neighbor upstairs getting violent and trying to kill our main character really didn’t make much sense. It seemed like jumping to conclusions to me and like someone else could’ve been behind it. What else could the four guys have been carrying? Very anti-climactic take down for the big bad of the story.

Love JG but I need more
On its own this was an okay read. Jade and Levee were okay main characters. The plot...okay. The everything pretty much okay. Just not very interesting as a whole. Now, for why I felt this way.
I have read almost every single thing JG has ever published so I hate to give a less than awesome review, but I can't hold my tongue anymore. Don't get me wrong, her formula is spot on with the romance. Not too much angst, not boring and lots of spice. I just miss her more unique storylines. Lately it's either a henchman or mafia romance with pretty identical tropes. I don't mind the damsel in distress trope but mix it up a bit, make it interesting again. I loved 367 Days, Into the Green, Grudge Match, Sacrifice, Vigilante, and even The Professionals had different enough plots to keep it interesting. And there are undoubtedly more I'm forgetting at the moment. Also, hate to say it but not every single side character needs their own book. If everyone is allegedly super interesting then it makes no one truly all that interesting, and makes the series drag a bit. I love this author I'm just ready for something unique and exciting I guess. I will no doubt keep reading everything she writes so don't take my word for it, read this and all her other books and decide for yourself❤️.

Quickish Review

Levee, one of the more carefree Henchmen MC members, still visits his disabled anti-social uncle on a regular basis, much to his uncle’s chagrin. Levee drops off groceries and healthy meals for him and tries to do as much cleaning as possible before his uncle throws him out of the apartment. But Levee does try. So he’s somewhat taken aback when the pretty girl across the hallway from his mean old uncle berates him for being neglectful!
Gorgeous, arty, hippie Jade can’t seem to help herself when it comes to helping others, like Levee’s grumpy uncle. Seeing some random guy getting assaulted by some hoodlums outside their building, she interrupts the beating, fortunately with no consequences to herself. Instead of thanking her, the neighbor acts the exact opposite of grateful. When she later hears some pretty suspicious thuds upstairs and then sees some dodgy-looking guys carrying something very large and heavy out of the building, she suspects that it might possibly be that same neighbor. When she starts to investigate, however, she manages to put herself into the line of fire and Levee steps in to help.
Again, the Henchmen stand for much more than their profession (arms dealing) – they are all about family, loyalty, honor and integrity. Apart from what they do to qualify as a 1% motorcycle club, they do try to do the right thing. In this case, we have the privilege of seeing one more MC member find his match. A thrilling delight!

Excellent story full of suspense & laughter & heart & heat! Plus delicious meals from Eddie, obviously. 😉
I greatly enjoyed Jade's sunshine & free spirit and the way Levee was pulled into her orbit. It was great to see how her actions helped heal generational hurts, too.

Another AWESOME story! I can't say enough about how much I enjoyed Jade and Levee's journey together! The book, as usual, had every single thing I could have wanted. The love story was beautifully written, all the club characters were so great to read about again...I always love hearing about the parrot...he is such a hoot! The entire book was excellent and enjoyable from the beginning to the end and, of course, the epilogues!! Oh My! How I love Jessica's books because she never leaves us hanging wondering what happened to the couple we have come to love. A new appreciation for Art!
Levee's story is HOT🔥HOT🔥HOT🔥!
There, of course, is some sweet, a little drama, and some parts that just make you want to whack Jade in the back of the head to get her to tell that man what is going on, instead of deflect, but she is so kind and naive and independent.
Jade is new to the area but enjoys the warmer weather. She is the type of person who gets to know her neighbors, helps when she can, and never wants to see anyone hurt.
Levee didn't have an easy life, but he never lost his will to be kind. When he meets the Artsy neighbor of his grumpy old uncle, sparks fly.
I enjoyed this story so much. It was a perfect read for the holiday downtime but makes me want to invest in art.... or make some!

She’s a fantastic author but this story was just average & honestly I skimmed the last 1/3 of the book. The characters just didn’t grab & the suspense line was uninteresting.

Levee is good
I'm so glad we have more Golden Glades Henchmen. I just love their dynamic. For some reason I feel a little sweetness about their relationships. Always enjoy catching up with them.

Levee finds his lady.
This has everything I love about Jessica's books. Morally grey hero with a heart of gold, strong female lead, found family, cameos from the OG Golden Glade guys and girls, animals a plenty and Eddie's cooking. Just the escape I was looking for!

Levee is a feel good HEA. Levee is a bad ass with a mushy center. Jade is the girl you want living next door and be your friend. I love this story because it has all the good feels. The story flowed and the characters are awesome.

My Opinion: This was an okay book, but parts of it did fall a little bit flat for me because I felt like it lacked depth. I also wasn’t a huge fan of the mystery/suspense element of this story. It just felt like the whole thing could have easily been avoided if she had just told someone what was going on. The romance aspect was still sweet though.
Hero: 4/5. Levee was great. Despite growing up in an abusive home, he had grown up to be a positive and caring person. He used to be a bit of a partyer and didn’t want to be tied down, but as soon as he met Jade that changed. He was both sweet and protective when it came to her, even if I didn’t think he was proactive enough about figuring out what happened when she shows up hurt.
Heroine: 3/5. Jade was okay. I liked her outlook on life and how confident and comfortable she was with herself. She was also a really caring and positive person. However, I did feel like some of the decisions she made regarding the upstairs neighbour mystery were a bit dumb, and I didn’t really understand the rationale behind them.

OK je dois avouer que pour ce tome je suis très partagée : j'ai adoré Levee qui assume complétement ses sentiments, j'ai beaucoup aimé la construction de leur relation (avec leur première rencontre) et j'ai adoré la fin (avec leurs enfants, leur "tableau abstrait", leur futur quoi !)
MAIS
Si j'ai bien aimé Jade, je l'ai trouvé TELLEMENT stupide de ne parler de ses problèmes à personne !! Ni la police, ni Levee ni personne en fait !! Et tout ça après avoir été attaqué plusieurs fois !!
Et la conclusion de l'intrigue était un peu rapide / floue ><
Bref, une romance de bikers sympa mais pas ma préférée dans cette série ...
PS : je VEUX un tome avec Teddy !! Et Zain !!

A biker romance that I enjoyed reading !
OK, I have to admit that I'm very conflicted about this book : I loved Levee who completely embraces his feelings, I really liked the development of their relationship (with their first meeting !!), and I loved the ending (with their children, their "abstract painting," their future !)
BUT
While I liked Jade, I found her SO stupid not to talk about her problems with anyone !! Neither the police, nor Levee, nor anyone, really !! And all this after being attacked several times !!
And the conclusion of the plot was a bit rushed/unclear ><
In short, a nice biker romance, but not my favorite in this series ...
PS: I NEED a book with Teddy !! And Zain !!

Si j'ai bien aimé Jade, je l'ai trouvé TELLEMENT stupide de ne parler de ses problèmes à personne !! Ni la police, ni Levee ni personne en fait !! Et tout ça après avoir été attaqué plusieurs fois !!
Et la conclusion de l'intrigue était un peu rapide / floue ><
Bref, une romance de bikers sympa mais pas ma préférée dans cette série ...

A biker romance that I enjoyed reading !
OK, I have to admit that I'm very conflicted about this book : I loved Levee who completely embraces his feelings, I really liked the development of their relationship (with their first meeting !!), and I loved the ending (with their children, their "abstract painting," their future !)
BUT
While I liked Jade, I found her SO stupid not to talk about her problems with anyone !! Neither the police, nor Levee, nor anyone, really !! And all this after being attacked several times !!
And the conclusion of the plot was a bit rushed/unclear ><
In short, a nice biker romance, but not my favorite in this series ...
PS: I NEED a book with Teddy !! And Zain !!

Levee is the ninth book in the Golden Glades Henchmen MC series by Jessica Gadziala. This is Levee and Jade’s book.
Jade moves into the apartment across the hall from Levee’s uncle. The uncle is a bit of a jerk but he’s in a wheelchair and Jade is the type of woman to help someone whether they want it or not.
It’s takes a little bit before Jade and Levee finally act upon their attraction. He’s afraid to scare her with the specifics of his job and she’s afraid to divulge something she's witnessed and the events happening as a result. Levee knows there's more to what Jade is telling him and is determined to make her feel safe and get her to open up to him and be honest.
Both Levee and Jade are great characters. They’re both really good people and I felt they were perfect together from the beginning. I’m now more interested to learn about Teddy, but I assume JG is going to make us wait longer for his book and to get the history of why he’s the way he is. He's such a sweet, caring man who deserves a wonderful woman of his own to spoil and love.
As always, it fun seeing all the secondary characters and other members of the MC. There are still several of the guys whose books we haven't gotten yet that I'm looking forward to reading. Levee is another great book by this author.

I freely admit Jessica Gadziala is one of my one-click authors. If you've not read MC and worry about them being too dark, rest assured. While this book is certainly set in an MC club, it is a love story between a biker and an artist. Bad things could have happened but don't because of Levee and his family, blood and otherwise. I enjoyed reading this book and felt good about having read it.
In a nutshell, it's a story proving love grows and thrives when it's nourished.
Highly recommend.

Levee watched as his best friends found their happily ever afters but still was not that concerned about finding his own until he met Jade. She was an unexpected bright spot in a place that usually only brought the dark to him. He helped her through a patch of trouble and she helped him brighten up the dark as they built a beautiful future together. Loved getting just a little bit more insight into some other characters that I hope will tell Jessica their stories soon.

This was another great read from this author. Levee meets Jade when he takes his Uncle groceries. She has just moved into the apartment across the hall from Uncle William. Somehow Jade finds herself in the middle of a dangerous situation where she has been beaten twice. Finally she reveals all to Levee who, with his brothers help, “takes care of” the problem.

This wasn’t my favorite but it was still a good read, very sweet. The action added wasn’t really great which isn’t the usual with a Gadziala book. It was pretty mild and on the background, then came to an abrupt end. Not the best but still enjoyed it overall
