This was a cute holiday read. Dallas was instantly drawn to Mia and even though he wanted to fight it Mia stayed on his mind. Mia was so thoughtful of Dallas being a single dad, it was cute. I loved the addition of the little ladies and how they built their own little sisterhood.
This is a sweet and beautiful story. After dealing with betrayal, Mia is closed off to love and friendships. But Tatum showed her what a real friend looks like. But a trip to a costume store really set her up... for the good life, unbeknownst to her. Dallas is a single parent whose heart is shut after the death of his wife. However, fate steps in at the right time, offering him a gift that he didn't realize he was missing. I love that his mom held him accountable for him actions and gave him the truth. When one lie leads to several more, it jeopardizes what Mia and Dallas had been building. But what is meant to be will be.
These Insta love got me in a chokehold😭… Kamal and Rachel both should ain’t ISH and that’s all imma say about that🙄. Dallas should have told her the same time she admitted her secret. His mom is really a girls girl cause she was not playing with him. Although wish I got more of the holiday feel I’m glad they both got their HEA. And you already know I’m here for the stepdaddy trope 😌🤏🏾.
I have read numerous romances lately but this one is on my list of best. No DEI, No politics just good writing. I fell in love with Dallas and Mia. I will be reading more her books if they are written this well. I'm so tired of writers given their world view instead of giving a good storyline. I wish the best for this young lady with many blessings.
Loved this little Christmas standalone it was so cute. I love Dallas and Mia’s romance and I’m happy for all the girls. I’m glad Tatum found her a man as well she was truly a great friend.
I like how Dallas got with Mia and the girls. There used to be a time when's friends did not mess with other people boyfriends and husbands. I guess that's a thing of the past .
Kamal was a straight up fool. I never understood why he was so mad at Mia, when he and her ex best friend betrayed her the most? Dallas let the charade go on too long? I thought messy Mariah would have spilled that tea ☕????
I’m on the way to the costume store and Halloween is in 10 months. I love how Dallas let Mia in his life and change his mind on loving again. Signing papers was best thing Kamal could’ve done. Tatum was a friend that any girl should want. I loved this story
Thus was a great read. I loved how you showed a strong single mother that was all about het kids and I'm also glad it wasn't about your the drug dealer he was a businessman. It wad really sweet how they came together and I lived how the story flowed
I enjoyed the book from beginning to end. Oh what a tangled web you weave when you practice to deceive. I'm Dallas case it was more of a hot telling the whole story than trying to deceive so I'm glad it ended in true love.
This was a quick, minimal drama, and enjoyable read. Two single parents finding love, again. Dallas was “I see a need and I’ll provide a solution’ type of man.
Mia and Dallas are a cute couple. I am so happy things have turned around for Mai. She has been through a lot and struggled to take care of her daughters. God placed Dallas in her life. Great Read!
I’m glad that Mia let Dallas in to love her like she truly deserved. Kamal was a piece of trash for not taking care of his kids and messing with Mia’s ex best friend. So many men are like that though. Glad Mia and Dallas got their happy ending.
Super sweet read. It's crazy how the simple things can really alter certain changes in our life. Now, although lying about his true worth, Dallas was a amazing man and father. Kamal was trash and and its sad how he did them girls but they got a better father anyway!
I enjoyed this book my favorite Christmas book of 2025 so far. Definitely would recommend. A little drama and some love from two people who have been hurt by love or lost love.
Love this book not just another urban hook up storyline, well written characters I devoured the book couldn't wait to see what happened next it was like old friends an gossip
Holiday books can be very hit or miss, especially when you don't read them during the holiday season. I have been in a bit of a book rut lately- picking only duds, so I decided to try something different from a new author and here I am on this bright Spring day smiling all big and genuinely surprised how much I liked this holiday story. This was an easy read with minimal drama, good editing, and likeable characters, except Kamal and Rachel - they were both trash. But side from them, even Dallas with his lying self, was a good guy and only did what he did as a protective measure. Seeing the lengths he went to for Mia from the very beginning was so sweet, and this story had a very "feel good" quality. I really enjoyed it and most of these characters.
