Born from pain and bound by blood, Murder Inc. was supposed to be a sanctuary—a clandestine group of women who vowed to take justice into their own hands, hunting down those who prey on the vulnerable. But what began as a mission of mercy has mutated into a savage, unstoppable force of vengeance.
At its heart stands Davina, a woman forged in the fires of trauma and reborn as an agent of brutal retribution. When she uncovers a vast sex trafficking ring, Davina unleashes a tsunami of violence that will drown Chicago's underworld in blood.
But as the body count rises and the lines between justice and sadism blur, Davina risks becoming the very monster she swore to destroy. Each kill feeds her growing addiction, each act of violence more depraved than the last. In a world where innocence is currency and brutality is the only language, can anyone truly be saved?
"Murder, Inc." drags readers into the darkest recesses of human depravity, where redemption comes at the cost of one's humanity. This unflinching dive into extreme horror will test the limits of even the most hardened readers. Enter at your own risk—the nightmares that await may never let you go.

Thank you to the author and the publisher or publishers for all your hard work! I'm leaving this review voluntarily and happily! Take a look!
This is definitely on my top five favorites. This deals with trauma, pain, female empowerment, and so much more. There is gore, death, mutilation, and more. I truly enjoyed the story and writing style, and the cover is truly stunning. This book sticks with me for many different reasons. There are so many people out there who wish they could do something, anything and sometimes a bit more than the government allows them to do. This book scratched an itch I definitely have as I myself believe that these men deserve to suffer. If a torture of horrible men is something you're into, then this is definitely a book for you.
A woman who's suffered for years from physical and mental abuse has broken free from the horrific cycle. She's found others like her, and they built Murder Inc. Together, they are making the world a better place, taking one horrible abuser out at a time, but for Davina, she needs more. She wants more to be rid of this place and them to suffer more than their victims. What happens if she bites more than she can chew? What will she do, and can she bring down those she's after? Read and find out.
Like I said before, this book definitely has a special place in my heart now. I'll definitely be reading this again sometime soon as it makes me happy. If that's weird, oh well, it makes me happy because I can at least visually enjoy these abusers pain.
I finished the beta for Murder, Inc. by Steven Pajak today. Davina has a traumatic past, and now she's trying to set things to rights. But not only for herself. She becomes a badass in every sense of the word.
🦸♀️🦸♀️🦸♀️🦸♀️.5 out of 5. I have said this before, but keep an eye out for Steven. He's going places. You won't want to miss his work.
Human trafficking is terrifying. And revenge books are so freaking satisfying. In Murders Inc. Steven introduces us to Davina, a badass who has been through a lot. We follow Davina as she finds a way out of her own situation and meets a group of ladies who have been through similar atrocities but haven’t taken it lying down. Knowing that there are other girls caught in a high-powered local trafficking web nearby, Davina has a tough choice to make. Murders Inc. are a cautious and measured operation, unwilling to blunder into a situation that could expose them and prevent them saving others going forward. But Davina has been pushed to the end of her rope and, no matter how powerful the ring she hopes to take down, she will give her all. Even if that means her life. This book is beautifully written, compelling, and brutally real. Pajak just gets better and better with every book - and he was already fricking amazing to start with! If you enjoy books with revenge and badass females taking the helm in the face of adversity, you need this book on your wish list!
Riddled with scars and an even more hurtful past, Davina works to free others from similar circumstances. She navigates the world with a chip on her shoulder and a thirst for revenge. With every bit of turmoil, she becomes an even bigger force to be reckoned with.
Murder Inc. is a ruthless narrative filled with graphic depictions that will leave your eyes wide and your vicarious sense of vengeance boiling over. Pajak’s vivid imagery drops you into Davina’s life as a fly on the wall, on the border between innocent bystander and willful accomplice. If you’re searching for feminine rage and seething hot revenge, look no further than Murder Inc. as Pajak delivers that in spades.
Took this one with me on a weekend trip. I had it downloaded to my phone,so I figured it would be perfect for the plane ride and I was right!
I read it in one setting from Boston to Tucson and it was fantastic! It kept my interest and the pages turning to find out what happened and why!
I love how Steven had each chapter be either "then" or "now" and you got the complete back story to the present story, it made it that much more interesting!
It's a quick, twisted read, so get on reading it, if you haven't already!
I have yet to find a book by Steven Pajack that I don’t like! I’ve read quite a few and have fallen in love with each of them. This book made me fall in love with Davina. A badass who has decided to love herself as well as other women who need her. If you love a good revenge tale, this is for you! It’s definitely a little more gory than some of Pajacks other work but I enjoyed it. Easy 5 stars from me and I can’t wait to see want this author does next!
Davina is a badass who takes names and kicks ass. Pretty much in that order. A victim who broke free and dedicated her life to freeing others from abuse, by any means necessary. She is part of a crew but she works by her rules. This is a fast paced, wild ride of revenge. I highly recommend it!
I really enjoyed this book! Davina is a woman that is not to be messed with!! If you love a book with vengeance and pay back, this is the book for you!
Welcome to Murder, Inc. - a group of women who exact revenge against the abusive partners of its members.
Newest member Davina has more than just a bone to pick with her abuser. While helping out other victims, she's discovered a trafficking ring and works towards learning how to take care of it at the top.
But as she moves towards her own goal, her kills become more and more sadistic. Can she break apart the trafficking ring without becoming a complete monster like the ones she seeks to destroy?
This story is revenge at its finest. It's brutal in more ways than one, towards the victims of the abusers and towards the abusers themselves. Davina absolutely kicks ass, and I'd love to see a movie made of this. It's incredibly well written and a heart pounding read!
Steve Pajak is a lot of things. He's a publisher, a formatter, an artist, a supportive friend, and he can weave one hell of a tale. Pajak is magic with his words, attacking every single one of our senses to make us feel like we're standing right next to the characters. We taste what they taste, smell what they smell, feel what they feel. This book is a prime example of that magic. Murder, Inc. came at a time when we needed it most. The main character, Davina, is so many women. We see her in all her vulnerability, and we see her in her rage. Her story is a reminder of a grim reality, and her revenge satisfies the desire for justice that we rarely see in real life. I see Murder, Inc. as a horrifying story of both pain and empowerment. Pajak has created a character that we want to see succeed, even if her methods are a little questionable (does Dexter ring a bell?). If you love tales of revenge, strong female leads, and some good old blood and gore, you won't want to miss this one.
I will always enjoy a great revenge tale, and Murder, Inc. is just that! Feminine rage written really well! Davina was an amazing character. She's seen some shit and been through even more. Steven jumps back and forth between "then" and "now" seamlessly, and I really enjoyed the pacing because of it. Do not miss this quick and satisfying read!
