This book had me in a hold!
The story starts with two friends meeting.
Fast forward Vivianne is getting married to prince Phillip. When she meets the prince she also meets her mate.
Without giving too much away this book had so many surprises. I couldn't stop reading!!! My poor family was having to do stuff themselves lol. I can't wait for more from Eve. I loved this book so so much! (I can't wait to buy a paperback copy!)

For the most part I really enjoyed this book with the different pov’s and all the spicy scenes in it. The only thing that I really disliked about it was that when the pov’s switched it was basically a repeat of the previous chapter and that was like half of the book. All in all it was a really interesting read and I liked the writing style, just a couple of minor spelling errors

This book really grabs you from the beginning! I love a good wolf shifter story. I was a little confused about who was who at first regarding the MMC and who he was standing in for and who was the nephew of who. Then add in more names of the shifters. But once you figure out who is who, it’s easier to keep up with the story. I do love that the shifter names were different than the human ones. I’ve never seen that in another book before.
The MMC realizes that the bride-to-be is his fated mate, but he has to get her to see it. There are many plot twists. How will the bride decide? Stay with her betrothed or go with her fated mate?
Congrats to Eve on her debut and thank you for the ARC!

Ok, so this book was sometimes hard to get through. The story itself could be wonderful, but there were some issues that kept me from loving it.
What I loved - Multi POVs, fated mates, the spice, action, and the characters. I also loved that the wolves inside them had their own name. I haven't read any books like that before.
What I didn't love - going back to the multi POVs, sometimes a chapter would be the retelling of a previous chapter in another character's POV, but it would be changed to the point it confused me. Totally different things would happen or be said that didn't go with what just happened to the characters in the previous chapter.
Another issue was that actual facts would be changed. Example being. FMC said she is 19 and the prince is 24. Then, in his chapter, which is the very next one, he says she is only a year younger than he is. It was extremely confusing.
When the chapters weren't going back to just rewrite events or scenes in previous chapters, the book flowed and was much more enjoyable to read.
Overall, it's a decent read.

Atticus and Viviane
The story: Alpha Atticus is forced to pretend he is someone else after a deal he made with his doppelganger, Duke Paul. Unexpectedly he finds his mate in Viviane, the woman betrothed to the Duke's nephew, Prince Philip. Atticus is hellbent on claiming his mate and breaks the engagement taking her away. But the prince hasn't said his last word as he has a plan of his own to take Viviane back and marry her.
This book was action-packed, with lots of twists that I could never foresee. The characters had their own battles and fought for what they wanted until the end. I loved that Viviane was not a simple human or werewolf but possessed unique powers.
Also, this book contained mild BDSM kinks that made it a little extra steamy.
It was a very good book and I highly recommend it.
Congratulations Eve on your first published novel. I can't wait to read the Betas story next!

Alpha's Unexpected bride is Paranormal Shifters Romance. Alpha Atticus of Greenway pack and Duke Paul Alexander of Valira discover that they're doppelgangers. Alpha Atticus promised Duke to take his place by impersonating him in his absence. Due to some tragic accident duke couldn't come back and Atticus has to extend his role play and he has to protect Duke's nephew and his estate both as well as he has to take care of his own pack. Among all these what he has not expected was to find his fated mate Vivian. She's a human blessed and gifted by Moon Goddess . Vivan was bethrothed to Duke's nephew Prince Philip. He was torn between his duty and love. But he couldn't resist the mate bond and takes Vivian away with him breaking her engagement with Prince.

The story has twists, turns , secrets, drama, action, royal conflicts and spice was so spicing in the book .

The story itself could be wonderful, but there were a few issues that made it a struggle. Some of the things I loved were fated mates, the spice, and action. I loved that the wolves inside of the characters had their own name. It made them feel like their own character. One of the things I did not love was in going between multi POVs, sometimes a chapter would be a retelling of a previous chapter but from another character's POV. It confused me. Different things would happen or be said that didn't go with what happened in the previous chapter. Overall, I loved it but definitely has a few things to fix.

This book has a great storyline. The characters are amazing. It has fated Mates and intriguing past with angst and dark properties to it. It has a little of everything to it. The only reason for me that it didn’t get 5 stars is that reading the different POV's it backtracks to what has already been done and tells it from their POV, which can be annoying.

3.5 out of 5

This book has multiple POVs, lots of spice, fated mates, shifter romance, plotting, revenge, banter. I really enjoyed Vivianne and Atticus and their banter. The spice was steamy. Overall a very enjoyable book. The only thing that got me was when shifting between POVs some things/scenes repeated themselves but overall didn’t take away from the story.

Loved this book. The plot is very different and engaging.
The characters in the book :
Vivianne is so naive and gentle.
Atticus on the other hand is rough on the edges.
I loved the nickname Gazelle.
Great read!

Book Review: Alpha's Unexpected Bride: The Werewolves of Greenway Pack Book One
By: Eve L. Quinn

This is my first read by Eve as she is a debut author!!! So congratulations to her!!! I love shifter books and this one checked all the boxes. It’s multi POV which I absolutely love! It has all my favorite tropes like fated mates, banter, interesting plot (prince and the pauper retelling,) and good action. One extra thing I thought was cool was the wolves were kinda their own because they had different names than the human counterparts.

I loved Atticus and Viviane he is the alpha and she’s a human who has a wolf 🐺 so it gave it extra intrigue. The whole idea of the Prince and the Pauper was so cool. Atticus and the Duke are look a-likes and meet by chance. When they change places and the Duke ends up in a tragic accident Atticus keeps his word to help teach his nephew to become the prince one day. Turns out the woman his nephew is set to marry in an arranged marriage is his fated mate. There are so many great moments in this story especially when he has to figure out how to break the engagement and have his mate for himself.

This story is full of twists and turns, revenge, plotting, spice, and banter.
I also liked how there can be a difference between the types of shifters and if done incorrectly can lead to issues. Cannot wait for the next book!

A Steamy, High-Stakes Fated-Mate Romance with a Twist of Royal Intrigue:
Eve L. Quinn delivers a rich, addictive blend of wolf-pack tension and royal drama in Alpha’s Unexpected Bride.

The story follows Atticus, an alpha forced to impersonate a fallen duke, whose world unravels the moment he meets Vivianne - his fated mate and, inconveniently, the prince’s fiancé.

What makes this book stand out isn’t just the chemistry (which is downright combustible) but the emotional undercurrent - Atticus’s internal war between duty and desire feels raw and believable. Vivianne is more than just a love interest; she’s intelligent, torn between loyalty and instinct, and refreshingly aware of the impossible situation she’s trapped in.

The pacing occasionally stumbles under the weight of its political subplots, but the world-building and romantic tension more than make up for it. The author writes with a flair for sensuality and conflict that kept me hooked through every secret and stolen glance.

If you enjoy fated-mates meets forbidden court romance with moral struggles, this one’s for you!

This story gave me everything I love in a spicy paranormal romance—fated mates, secret identities, royal drama, and WOLVES.

I did get tripped up a few times with the POV switches. Some scenes felt a little repetitive, and there were moments where details didn’t line up perfectly between chapters. It was a little disorienting, but the characters and the tension more than made up for it.

Atticus is the kind of broody alpha who grows on you fast, and Vivianne? She’s no pushover. Their chemistry was undeniable, and the twists kept me guessing (and yelling at my Kindle).

If you're into steamy shifter stories with high-stakes drama, unexpected mates, and a royal twist, this one is absolutely worth picking up. Just give yourself a minute to untangle the characters at the beginning—it’s worth the ride!

Atticus made a promise years ago to his friend, vowing to guide the prince if anything ever happened! After eight years, Atticus feels it's time to step away from his mentorship and fully embrace his role as Alpha, but he knows he must find a mate, one thing he really doesn't want to do, until he meets the Princes bride to be, discovering she is his fated mate.

I loved the dual POV, but Atticus's perspective was definitely more captivating. At first, I saw him as a cold, calculated man who didn't seem to care for anyone, even the Omega he was dating. But as I read, he really grew on me.

The underlying story line was interesting, wolves living in secret, God's, heartache and beyrayls.

🐺 𝗥𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 - 𝟒✨

🐺 A big thank you to the author for the ARC and the opportunity to read this book! This was my first book by Eve, and since it's her debut, congrats to her!

🐺 Alpha's Unexpected Bride delivers a gripping mix of duty, deception, and sizzling chemistry. When Alpha Atticus steps into the life of his deceased lookalike, he never expects to find his fated mate—who's engaged to another man.

🐺 I loved the blend of fated mates, banter, and action, along with the unique touch of wolves having separate names from their human counterparts.

🐺 Atticus and Viviane’s dynamic was compelling, with plenty of tension and twists to keep things interesting. Watching Atticus balance his promise with his growing feelings added depth to the story.

🐺 While some scenes felt repetitive and the pacing dragged at times, the chemistry and intrigue made up for it. The mix of spice, revenge, and strong world-building kept me hooked. A solid debut, and I’m excited to see what the author does next!

This book was such a fun ride! I’m a total sucker for fated mates and forbidden romance, and Alpha’s Unexpected Bride delivered on both with plenty of spice and tension to keep me hooked. The idea of an Alpha stepping in for a duke and accidentally finding his true mate? So good.

There were a few confusing POV shifts, especially early on when the scenes overlapped or didn’t totally line up—but once I figured out who was who, the story really took off. I loved how the wolves had their own identities too—it added a unique twist I hadn’t seen before.

If you’re into shifter romances with drama, royal intrigue, and heat, this one’s worth checking out!

I really enjoyed this book! The fated mates storyline was intense, and Atticus was the perfect possessive alpha. The romance had plenty of steam, and Vivianne’s character brought a lot of intrigue. The POV switches had me a little lost sometimes, but overall, it was a great read with lots of drama and action. Definitely worth checking out if you’re into paranormal romance!

Loved it! Debut novel of author Eve L. Quinn hit different from other paranormal romance novels. Be prepared to immerse in a fantasy world of werewolves' vs humans. What I liked: wolf spirits of the main characters have their own voice and personality. MMC is a domineering Alpha, rough and hot, in contrast to a prim and proper human MFC. There is smut and kink from beginning to end, author did not hold back writing steamy and spicy scenes. The multiple POV were tricky to read but half through the book you get a clear scope of what's going on. Really enjoyed the twists and turns of the story! Spoiler: ends with HEA. Book Two is the Beta's story.

⭐⭐⭐⭐

I received an ARC of this book for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Review: I really enjoyed this read. The MMC and FMC had great chemistry and the book had a decent amount of steamy parts. Werewolf fantasy is always grest for drama and spice. The "love triangle" was interesting between Vivianne, Atticus, and Phillip. I also enjoyed the personalities of the individual wolves and that they had thoughts and desires separate from the characters. I would agree that sometimes the POV switches and details got a little muddled, but overall I liked the story and was very intrigued by the characters. Looking forward to book 2!
