Sloane wasn't supposed to hear her boyfriend's plan to cheat on her, but when she does, it only proves to her one thing. She is going after his best friend. She's had a crush on Emmett since they first met, but she was unsure if he felt the same way. Emmett has never been good with talking to women, never sure how to act. So when Sloane, his best friend's ex-girlfriend, starts flirting with him, he doesn't know what the hell to do. He knows it's wrong, knows he should keep his hands to himself, but he's had a thing for her forever. He was sure that she could never want him, that she was ten levels out of his league so he's convinced she's doing it all to mess with Justin. But the longer it goes on, the more it feels like she has feelings for him, the more it feels like there is something real between them.

Sloane and Emmett will need to decide if staying quiet is the way to go, or if they should finally reveal the truth, and see what happens in the aftermath.

I have always been a Rhianna Burwell fan but this slacked for me a little. It was 80% smut and 20% plot. Maybe it was my reading slump getting to me. I am not sure. It was still an enjoyable read. It just didn't WOW me yk?

This was fantastic. Sloane gets cheated on and Emmett, the ex’s best friend, sticks up for her and she decides to stop denying the attraction she’s had for him all along. A little weird that she expresses this by sneaking into his hotel room and banging him in front of her sleeping ex/his best friend, sure. But did you read the title? You kind of knew it was coming (a much-preferred spelling to cumming, btw). Emmett is the just the sweetest little pie and I couldn’t love him more. Well, unless he hadn’t have hesitated when the jackass best friend gave him an ultimatum. Or if he would have told him off any of the 4749 other times he was a terrible fuckwad earlier in the story. But other than that, just a little lamb. Sloane was a saint and also a dirty little bird and I loved that for her. The communication between them was lower quality than shambles and they had the survival instincts of male praying mantises but still, I was rooting for them.

The concept of me wasting 90 minutes to read this at 4AM off no sleep



IDK maybe I channeled my inner Kendrick but I hated everything. The plot wasn’t giving, the tension wasn’t there, the smut was bad…and I NEVER hate smut. Sloane annoyed me the entire time, Justin was written like the author was begging me to hate him which actually made him my fav purely out of spite, and Emmett… idk he felt like a glorified dildo with dialogue. Submissive men are usually on top but Emmett…Yuck.

+1 star for Justin dragging tf out of Sloane -6 stars for….everything else =)

I absolutely loved this book. Whatever she writes I read
Emmet was such a cutie. I love how she writes her men, they’re always the ones who are inexperienced and the women teach them. This book was a little bit more taboo than the rest of her books but it was hot. At the beginning I thought Sloane just wanted to get back at justin for cheating but she actually liked Emmet. And Emmet was just so cute and shy that it was imposible not to love him.

I love a good spicy book and the spice in this was good but for this to be a college romance the writing gives high school freshman on Wattpad. The internal monologue was also VERY repetitive to the point I had to skip some lines in the book. This author has great potential but the writing style needs to improve.

Rhianna Burwell does it again! I swear if she writes it, it's an automatic read for me. While this may be a novella, it's definitely not lacking in the spice department. I can't wait until we see another release from her. Hopefully one day she releases a regular length book for everyone to enjoy.

I was not very happy with this book. It was entirely sex. which I understand for some readers that's the kind of book they like, but I like to have more of a storyline, more romance. This book was very short and extremely rushed. anytime the two characters are together, they are having sex. Never being romantic, almost never talking. I would like a book that actually has more story to it.

Now what brought me to the book was reading that the MMC whimpeeeeeeeered for the FMC and that was all I needed to read it.

Now I could I have used a little more plot? Sure. And yes there was smut over spice and smut will tend to overpower everything.
