A City Christmas
Christmas is definitely not the most wonderful time of the year for New York billionaire Xander Cartwright. In fact, all he wants for Christmas is to hide away in his apartment and wait until all the holly jolly nonsense is over. However, a leak, leading to some serious water damage, puts paid to that plan and a shortage of hotel rooms means he has to move in with his brother. Except, his brother isn’t there and some small town blow-in insists she’s rented the place till January. That’s simply not happening.

Great NYC Christmas Story!
So many laughs at the meeting between Xander and Daisy! They do such a great job driving each other crazy. But their growing friendship and falling in love were perfect! There were some parts that were rushed and glossed over. It was great getting a glimpse of past characters from prior books — although there’s not enough detail about how they all know each other.

Christmas magic
This book left me with a warm Christmas holiday feeling 🥰especially as I read it in the new year when we take away the magic of Christmas. Made me smile,giggle& tissues needed at one point! Brilliant addition to Roisin Blacks books. One to keep & reread on gloomy winters days. Great Christmas read 🥰

Great Book
Loved reading Xander and Daisy's story. This book just makes the reader smile with its characters, especially the dogs! You can just picture the sights and sounds of the big city from reading this book. Can't wait to read more books by this author!

Well I had forgotten how much I enjoy books by Roisin Black and to come across this book was a real surprise. Well written, great characters and dogs! What more can I say? A fantastic book

Roisin Black has written a wonderful Christmas story of two people, that were totally different. Daisy and Xander were so good together. I thoroughly enjoyed their story.

Such a cozy Christmas release from Roisin. Daisy is only in the city for a limited time and Xander is the grumpy (not so grumpy) owner of the apartment she is meant to be renting. This was a sweet, heartwarming read with an element of suspense. I loved watching the relationship blossom, the setting was perfect and I love the quirky dog and sweet neighbour. It was great to see some familiar characters pop up. i wish I could have seen the outcome of their 'intervention' - maybe a future story?!?!?! Keeping everything crossed.
