London Mafia Bosses #10

Abducted by the Mafia Don

Rate this book
“Touch her and die.”

The boy from the club seemed nice. He was supposed to give me my first kiss, but instead, I’m in a dark alley, and he and his friends have knives. They rip my clothes, and two of them hold me down as one of them undoes his trousers.

I’m sobbing, and pleading, and wishing there was someone, anyone to help. Then a tall man with a deep voice, commands, “Stop.”

Moments later, I’m covered with their blood, and shaking. My saviour wraps me in his warm suit jacket, and helps me up.

“Who are you?”

“Their father’s enemy. You’re coming with me.”

And it’s only when he bundles me into his car, I recognise the most dangerous mafia boss in London, and realise he’s been stalking me.

Abducted by the Mafia Don is a sweet and spicy age gap kidnap romance with an innocent heroine and an obsessed and possessive kingpin.

☆1 DNF 70% Yeah, no. That’s r@pey af and reads like it.

Kinks have to be acknowledged and consented to by both people to work. Taking her bloody V-card without her consent (as far as he knows) while she’s pretending to be asleep (so weird of her)? Nah. I can sometimes handle a somno ‘teaser’ in taboo dark romance, but this ain’t it. Also why can’t it be 30 and 20? Does it always have to be a 20+ year age gap?? *sigh* Done with this author.

3.5 smut-scale stars!

“You’ll be mine, forever. I’ll love and protect and be territorial of you. My wife for real. And fuck, I’ll breed you with so many babies. All the kids you were talking about, and more. I’ll love you until I die and then beyond into whatever void or afterlife there is, because nothing will stop me loving you.”

Yeahhhh you will…😍

Dropped everything when this came out! This author has become an immediate one-click—i can depend on her to deliver the swoon n steam! And always an innocent heroine who brings the big bad growly hero to his knees!! Yasssss, more please!!!

Safe. Hero isn’t a manwhore, has been celibate. Heroine is a virgin and belongs only to her hero. No ow/om drama, no cheating, no sharing, HEA with epilogue

Sweet and Spicy!

Great addition to this series. I can’t believe I’m all caught up. Dom’s obsession was crazy but he somehow kept it restrained… until deep in the night when he got into samnophilia… as far as he knew. I always find that kink hot. Especially some of the…stickier things he did. For me, it was nice and spicy! Now I have to wait for the next book!

Taggie a university student goes clubbing hoping to get her first kiss but finds herself in a dark alley, and he and his two friends have knives. They rip her clothes, and two of them hold her down as one of them undoes his trousers. Then everything changes & she’s covered with their blood, and shaking. Her saviour wraps her in his warm suit jacket, and helps her up. That’s when her life changes
Another delicious, steamy, quick read. It’s only a hundred pages but it’s packed to the gunnels. There’s a mafia don hopelessly in love, an innocent young woman, a twenty year age gap, secrets, twists, turns & surprises & that’s just for starters. I love both Dom & Taggie & loved their journey to a HEA, which was different. I read it straight through & now need a very cold drink
I voluntarily read and reviewed a special copy of this book; all thoughts and opinions are my own

For me personally, probably more of a 3 star, but that mainly because somnophilia isn't really my kink. But for what it is, this book is great. Not a lot of unnecessary drama, pretty straight and to the point, virgin h, much older H with a daddy and breeding kink thrown in. Short and sweet. I didn't love that almost all their sexual interactions happened when he thought she was sleeping. Most of what I enjoy watching is the interactions and chemistry between the characters when they have sex and when one part is asleep(or pretending to be asleep) it's more of a voyeuristic thing than a participant thing. The fact he went as far as to take her virginity while she was sleeping annoyed me, as well as the fact she didn't choose then to show him she was awake. However, the first time they really have sex, she does show him that she's awake and that whole scene is hot enough to make up for it. This is definitely the kind of book you have to be in the right mood for, but if you are wanting something short and smutty with low angst, this is the book for you!

When Taggie (h) steps out for her first real night of freedom, the last thing she expects is to be rescued, then abducted, by London’s most feared mafia boss. Dominic (H) saves her from a brutal assault, but he’s not just any stranger. He’s the man who’s been watching her, planning revenge against the father she never knew existed. What begins as a fake marriage to keep her safe quickly turns into something neither of them can fake. Dom’s obsession runs deep, blurring the line between protector and captor, love and possession. And Taggie, despite her fear and confusion, finds herself drawn to him in ways she can’t explain. ‍As their connection deepens, secrets unravel, and danger arises, forcing Taggie to choose what and who she wants for her future, even as Dom has to take action to keep her safe. A dark, steamy, intense, instalove, age gap, stalker, mafia romance, exploring twisted beginnings, power, obsession, desire, unexpected love, and the families we make when blood fails us.

Nice little Mafia story…

The MMC is the Don, of course, and he’s been stalking the FMC, which is why he’s able to save her when she’s accosted in an alley. The three boys plan to assault her, when the MMC shoots them and saves her.

There are a few minor twists but this is a good, average read. Nothing special or unexpected happens. I liked the MMC but the FMC was, shall we say, less intelligent than I prefer.

KU read, fun read but I’m not sure I’ll check out the series.

Quickie Review: I absolutely loved Dom and his oh so naughty self. He believes the only way he can have Taggie is either in public, where everyone believes they are a happily married couple. Or when she is asleep, late at night, when he believes only the walls of her room knows the secrets he whispers. Y’all this story did crazy, amazing things to me. I will happily recommend this book. 5 Glorious Stars.

Another great instalment of the mafia men of the London maths club. I love how Dom is so unsure if Taggie likes him and how Taggie makes him believe. The spice is hot and the romance is swoony. Can't wait to see another one of these tough but vaunrable men fall

So hot and filthy!!
______________________
The kinks in this one went crazy!

Dom was fighting with himself, thinking he couldn't be what Taggie needed or wanted. He thought all he could get were stolen moments when she wasn't conscious or when they were faking it...but little did he know that his girl was trapping him.

Taggie was so smart and brave. She went after what she wanted, she played the long game, making him go crazy and having to face both their desires head-on. And that ending situation? She trusted him and his word, not letting anything get between them.

I love coming back to the maths world and would read about more people joining forever if I could!

Thank you Evie for the e-arc!!

Dom & Taggie … didn’t like much

The first 80% of the book is him telling her a semi lie so she stayed, going to a bunch of activities to show her off as his wife, and masturbating in front of her or touching her while she was asleep (which was only once) or was pretending to be asleep (all the rest). He even took her virginity while she pretended to be asleep!! And she was ecstatic 🤦🏽‍♀️. To me just shows how a coward he is. He is a mafia DON!! He is supposed to be fierce, have strong character and take what he wants. And I didn’t see it. I just saw a coward and a weak don because he didn’t even have much interaction with his subordinates. Just two occasions and very brief. He worked through emails. Like… whaat?
I should’ve loved the book because he is a possessive, obsessive older man that simply wants her and showers her with amazing things starting with her room. But after all the blah blah at the beginning and him saying he only had one-night stands (ugh 🤢)… I simply disliked the story. I prefer mafia dons that don’t like to be touched by anyone especially because of security (any woman could betray him and help murder him if too close) only by the h. But no, he slept around. There’s a line there that says something about her bringing his savage desires that were “dormant for long years”, suggesting he was celibate; but after the previous comment I simply don’t believe him.

SAFE-ish
begins with attempting rape to the h by other boys (her brothers btw)
No sharing
No separation
Stalking by the H
Masturbation while she was asleep
Touching and sex while she pretended to be asleep
He had one-night stands before h
Virgin h
Fake marriage

I won’t read it again.

Oh, the wicked things this mafia boss gets up to when he thinks his “guest” is fast asleep! This book is an irresistible cocktail of dark temptation, sizzling tension, and a touch of the forbidden. Once you start, you won’t be able to put it down. Taggie is the ultimate innocent, both in mind and body. Dreaming of her first kiss, she ventures into a nightclub and meets a seemingly charming young man. But beneath his polished exterior lies something far more sinister—he’s not just after a kiss, and he’s definitely not alone. What unfolds is one of the edgiest, most heart-pounding scenes in the series. But fear not, help is on the way. And probably for the first time, an FMC will be thanking her lucky stars she has a stalker, because when London’s most dangerous mafia boss steps in, her attackers don’t stand a chance. Dominick (Dom) knows Taggie wasn’t chosen at random. In fact, he knows a lot more about her than she realizes. Determined to keep her safe, he takes her home. But here’s the question: will she really be safe from him? Dom fights his desires, running through the usual excuses—she’s too young, too innocent, too unprepared for the dark world he inhabits. But self-control isn’t his strong suit, especially when he finds her bedroom door unlocked. This book delivers all the spice, with Dom holding back during the daylight hours but absolutely devouring her when night falls. And while his late-night visits might seem scandalous, let’s just say Taggie isn’t exactly sleeping through them, not matter what Dom thinks. What I loved most? The way Dom poured his heart out in the most deliciously sinful moments. And Taggie—sweet, innocent Taggie—turns out to be delightfully cheeky when she goes after what she wants. This installment is a little darker than Evie’s usual style, but it’s still packed with her signature steam and over-the-top, jaw-dropping moments. If you love mafia romance with a dangerously obsessive hero and a heroine who surprises you, this one’s an absolute must-read. 🔥🔥🔥

This was an awesome book! Ms. Rose has created another well written story with lots of suspense and twists that will keep you on the edge of your seat in anticipation of what might happen next. This book featured Dominick (Dom) Richmond and Agatha (Taggie). Dom was the Don of the Richmond mafia, the most dangerous man in London. Taggie was a university student that lived with her granny because her mother died, and she did not know who her father was. He was actually another mafia boss named Thaxted. The book opened with Taggie being saved by Dom from assault by three men she met at a nightclub. Dom knew Taggie was being assaulted because he was stalking her. Dom originally was planning to kill Taggie as revenge against Taggie’s father Thaxted. This story is about how Dom exacts revenge and the love story of Dom and Taggie. Dom didn’t count on the intense feelings he would have for Taggie, and she for him.

The opening sentence about Sleeping Beauty was brilliant because that theme was referenced throughout the book, particularly since somno was a kink the MCs enjoy. The characters were well developed and the story flowed well. There was violence, but not too gritty. There were love scenes, but not too spicy. I found it to be a story that kept my attention and kept the pages turning well after bedtime. While the book can be read as a standalone, it was nice to see characters from the other London Mafia Bosses series and reference to the London Maths Club. Overall, an enjoyable read and I would recommend this book for those interested in mafia romance stories.

Taggie is a young women who hasn't experienced much in life, So at 20 she decides to take matters in her own hands, she heads to the club in hopes of receiving her first kiss. She picks a guy who, doesn't exactly invoke a physically attraction, but seems nice enough to get the job done, or so Taggie thought. When his two other friends arrive, things go drastically wrong and Taggie is about to lose more than just her first kiss. Thankfully or maybe not a stranger appears and saves her from what would have been every woman's nightmare.
How does he save her? By killing the three men of course. Taggie stunned and in a state of shock, agrees to go with the dark knight who saved her. She quickly learns that he is non other than 41 year old Dominic Richmond, the most dangerous mafia boss on London.
Dominic wasn't just in the right place at the right time, he has been waiting and watching Taggie for two years, becoming obsessed with her. For reasons that started completely different then what he is feeling now. He wants Taggie to be his, to be his queen, while he knows the age difference is an issue and that he doesn't deserve her, he just doesn't care, he wants her and will do whatever it takes to keep her.

This was a good quick read. The mafia vibes were there as well as the spice. The kinks in this book will not be for everyone. Some will say that Taggie did not verbally give consent, and while that was true, she was fully in control and could have stopped the acts at anytime, in reality Taggie set up the situations to get exactly what she wanted.
Really good read, would recommended.

You might want to make sure to double check that you are buckled up, dangerous men, alpha’s personified, possessive, oh, gorgeous, brooding all the makings of a story consisting with three D’s (dark, delicious, and dirty) 😊. There will be suspense, betrayal, death, darkness, secrets reveled, violence, hope, forgiveness, and maybe even love along the way. Taggie goes out just for a little fun but things don’t go as plan first kiss was her expectation but she got so much more with several guys trying to take advantage of her but a good guy stepped in saving her but he is good considering he has been stalking her out of protections there are things he knows about her she knows nothing about yet it puts her in danger and saving her or keeping her is more like it. Dominick sexy as all get out mafia boss, overprotective, with stalker tendencies in the best way he has planned revenge against Thaxted for so long through his daughter until he saw her and revenge took on another form because now his heart along with fate has taken control despite being a big bad mafia boss he is nothing compared to fate. The moment he kidnaps her and the more time they spend with each other learning about one another that magnetic pull between them grows stronger neither of them can’t deny it revenge turns into something so much more but will it be enough, will he get his revenge another way, will she understand his reasons for saving her from the beginning, and can they find happiness on something that started out so wrong?

I've read all of Evie's books (she was the original author who got me hooked on Instalove), and as predicted, I generally enjoyed this story. On the spectrum of her books, I'd say this one is on the darker end (morally gray MMC is edging on black in my opinion), and though it isn't my favorite of her books, the writing, flow, and character development for such a short story is as exceptional as always. Read your triggers, because the CNC in this book is, well, is borderline too much for my tastes. But, this is escapist OTT fiction which makes it okay, and if CNC is your jam, this book is probably perfect for you. ***Spoilers Ahead*** But, if like me, you prefer either no CNC or lite CNC, this might not be the book for you. I was not a fan of the fact the MMC thought the FMC was completely asleep during their first sexual encounters, including when he takes her V-card. And, in my opinion, these encounters drag out longer than they needed to. If there had been some indication the MMC suspected she wasn't really asleep (which she wasn't, she was faking so he'd touch her) it would have bothered me less or if, at minimum, he'd waited until he knew she was awake to take her v-card, I would have been more on-board. But again, I don't want to yuck anyone's yum if that's what you like. ***Spoilers Done*** But overall, I enjoyed this book and will always be back for more of Evie's witty and steamy London Maths Club stories.

Kingpin Dominic Richmond has been keeping a close watch on his obsession Taggie Hayes for awhile and the night she is out clubbing in search of her first ever kiss he is there to rescue her from assault from a young man and his two brothers as she in all innocence leaves the club with them to head off to another one.
They were the sons of his enemy rival Thaxted whom he has many reasons to seek revenge on but putting their hands on his woman, even if she doesn’t know it yet, was a death sentence.
Abducted by the Mafia Don is another erotic, sensuous story from author Evie Roses’s pen which I enjoyed for its engaging writing and possessive, tattooed, alpha mafia boss who no matter how hard he tries just can’t resist the sweet little woman who lights his fire.
He brings her home for safekeeping and allows her to believe Thaxted will be looking for her seeking revenge. Dom believes he is too old for his little bambola but what he doesn’t know yet is that Taggie SEES him and the feelings are mutual. He visits her while she sleeps at night pouring out his feelings for her until the night she isn’t, and she decides to beat him at his own game. A little drama, plenty of steam, a fake marriage, age gap romance, touch her and die, revelations, and some very kinky love fueled somno, was a combination that delivered one heck of good read. HEA.

...what happens when you are sleeping...

💚ARC Review💚

Abducted by the Mafia Don by Evie Rose is the newest addition to part her ongoing London Mafia Bosses Series. (It's great to see the other couples pop up into this story.) A very enjoyable read of Evie's master skill in writing delicious ägë-gäp, a possessive & protective mafia don, stälƙịng, fake marriage, gööɗ girl with some serious A.F. smn̈ọ... 🥵🔥💋 I am here for it! Taggie is saved by Dom from a possible S.A. Dom has plans for her... originally part of his revenge against a bad guy who murdered his Family - that changes to he absolutely cannot live without her. 😏  This was such a good book!

...aaaaannnnddd I love these two thoughts from Dom & Taggie... 🥰

"...When I turn back to her, she’s looking up at me, and I know how the sun must feel gazing down on a single, perfect sunflower. I’m this fiery dangerous far-off angry ball of exploding reactions, and she’s a delicate thing that would be burned to charred remains if she comes too close. But the way she tilts herself towards the threat makes me want to protect her even more..."

"...I need more of him, and I have to know what the truth is here. My devoted husband when we’re on show, the carefully distanced man when we’re alone, or the gritty guilty, obsessed lover I saw last night..."

This was a typical Evie Rose book. The big, bad mafia guy stalks the innocent young girl. You know what you’re getting. Which is meant as a compliment here. Rose gives you all the angst, hidden feelings, danger, yearning and sexiness you want. Many books written in this genre fall flat. But Rose manages to write characters and plots that actually have some substance to them. This time around it’s Dom who has fallen hard for Taggie. He’s managed to convince her to stay with him and pretend to be married for her own safety. I do have to say that Dom’s visits to Taggie’s room at night were only acceptable to me because it was escapist fiction. SPOILERS AHEAD While Taggie is aware of what Dom is doing to her sexually, Dom believes her to be unconscious. That was bothersome for me. Yes, it was consensual, but Dom didn’t know he had Taggie’s consent. And that was over the line for me. SPOILERS OVER Otherwise, I found the writing was good and the story flowed well. There isn’t a lot of time to develop characters or plot with this genre, but Rose manages to do a good job nonetheless. Added bonus for the glimpses of former characters in the series. Recommended but only with a hard warning about the triggers.

Abducted by the Mafia Don from London Mafia Bosses series.

Trop :

Romance, mafia romance, age gap, dark romance, insta-love, contemporary romance, he fall first, romantic suspense, steamy romance, somno (he has sex with her while she’s asleep), dubcon, he spits in her mouth, just the tip, stalker mafia boss, Italian kingpin, touch her and die, he marries her to protect her, fake marriage, tattooed MMC, praise, good girl, virgin FMC.

Taggie went to a bar to lose her first kiss and then leave but it didn’t go as planned. Lance and his brothers tried to go another bar but halfway they stopped and tries to force them on her and that’s where Dom came. He shot everyone and took her with him. He was stalking her from the beginning cause her father killed his family members and he wanted to take revenge by killing every child of her father but soon he fall in love with her. How possessive he is about her. Their steamy scenes omg 😍. Surprised to see others couple as well did cameo to this story. I’ve read all the books from this series and I’ve loved them. Waiting for next book on this series.

4.25 stars. Taggie, the female lead, is saved from molestation by Dom, the male mafia boss lead, because he’s been stalking since he saw her. He initially tracked her down to kill her as part of his revenge on her absentee father but now he’s determined to keep her. Demanding she stay in his home for her protection, he can’t resist being in her presence whilst she sleeps…

This novella is dual POV, well written, and a darkly sweet, contemporary erotic romance. I was amused by Dom’s obsession, and his lack of self control around Taggie. I enjoyed his genuine desire to care and provide for her. I enjoyed Taggie’s certainty of what she wanted, and her playfulness in achieving it. I enjoyed that, whilst Taggie’s agency appeared to be impinged, she was an active participant in their encounters. I enjoyed the erotic intimate scenes - mind your triggers. I laughed at the banter between lead and secondary characters. I enjoyed the epilogue.

Say what you want to, but this man did save her! Evie beings us another entertaining mafia read. The writing is great and the book length isn't too short, but rather just right for this story. The details are done well, I get a great feel for my characters motivations. There is some violence, but it's to be expected considering his career choice.

He took her for his own purposes and wasn't planning on giving her back.

Her first decisions weren't smart at all. How scary and life altering her whole world would have been from then on. He did what he had to in my opinion, again, considering the world he resided in. She gave as good as she got when she got her bearings, but she was still in awe. He told her just what he was apart of and she still was intrigued with him. Their attraction was great and they didn't ignore it even as she was being more and more drawn into his world. A good time!

'He’s all causal power, and I’m silenced by it somehow.
Like this man could tell the earth to stop spinning, and it would.'

I loved this book. Evie's sexy possessive mafia alphas and the innocent virgins who fall in love with them are stories I can read everyday. I loved both Dom and Taggie. He saves her from something horrible and literally sweeps her off her feet. Love the chemistry between them. Love that he was possessive but controlled. In spite of what happened- what almost happened- that night, Taggie knew that she wanted Dom and was drawn to him completely. He thought she deserved better, but when she left her door unlocked for him, the invitation was too much to resist.

'I am a good enough man to stay away from a frightened girl. I know I am. A girl who locked her door to protect herself.
But a brave girl who left her door open to me?
God help her. I cannot resist.'

I really loved learning his and his family's history- and the steps he's taken to get justice and vengeance. I was completely hooked to the story. Another amazing read! 5 stars.

This is book ten of the author’s London Mafia Bosses series and features Dom, the Don of the Richmond Mafia and it’s every bit as hot and spicy as the other books in the series.

I read a ton but I only have a small handful of authors that I feel comfortable in choosing a book without first reading the blurb and picking it apart for hints of elements that I don’t care for but Ms. Rose is one of them. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever been disappointed with one of her books but I especially love the London Maths Club books. I think it’s the funniest thing for a group of big, bad, mafia kingpins but it also adds a little bit of fun and lightheartedness that makes the series addicting. I 100% recommend each book in this series as well as all of her previous books to any readers who crave obsessed and possessive MMCs, whether or not mafia romances are your favorite go-to…you won’t be disappointed. 5 stars!.

Age gap/ mafia/ my wife/ touch her and die/ pining/ fake marriage/ virgin FMC/ morally gray MMC/ forced proximity/ HEA

Trigger warning: somnophilia/ dub con/ attempted r*pe/ SA/ violence/ kidnapping/ murder/ death of a loved one/ breeding

For being so short, I was surprised by how much of a slow burn this was. It took a while for them to actually admit their feelings for each other. Most of the book was just the MCs being deceptive.

The MMC was actively assaulting the FMC in her sleep thinking she didn’t know about it which is soooooo problematic. He finished inside her and then daydreamed about her getting pregnant. He thought about how confused she would be if she got knocked up despite being a virgin. That’s messed up. The FMC knowing about him doing things to her and being ok with it is one thing but HE didn’t know that she knew. A conversation about consent could have gone a long way. It felt icky.

Abducted by the Mafia Don is hot, sweet, funny and full of love.

Taggie found herself in a horrible situation when she just wanted to go out and experience her first kiss. Little does she know, that night would change her life for the better.
Dom shows up just in time. And he took the role of her protector very seriously. It’s so cute the way we can read his thoughts and the scheming to make her permanently his. There’s some tension about Taggie’s father, something that connects Dom and Taggie more than they knew.
Spicy times were incredibly hot. Taggie may be a virgin when they met, but she and Dom together are a explosion of heat. The breeding kink makes it all a thousand times better.

“She wants a father, would a Daddy do?”

Tropes; insta love, age gap, virgin heroine, possessive hero, mafia, breeding kink.

This book was wild in the best possible way. Taggie is sweet, smart, and just trying to live her life—until one wrong decision lands her in serious danger. Enter Dom, the older, broody mafia don who’s been watching her from the shadows and steps in like a dark, deadly knight.

Their chemistry is electric from the start, and the way Dom cares for her—so soft beneath all that danger—had me swooning. The fake marriage setup? Absolutely delicious. Watching Taggie go from innocent uni girl to the powerful heart of Dom’s world was such a satisfying ride.

This story is dark, steamy, and a little over-the-top in the best way. If you love obsessive older heroes, age gaps, protective possessiveness, and a heroine you want to root for, you’re going to love this one.

One of the things I love most about this series is how none of the books feel copy-pasted. They all share the same vibe, but each one stands on its own, making them feel fresh and unique.

This book, in particular, was short, sweet, and straight to the point—just the way I like it. It introduces Thaggie, the female main character, and Dom, the male main character. The MMC is definitely morally gray (which, let’s be honest, we all love), while the FMC is an innocent, book-loving girl—one of my favorite tropes.

And that quote? “Love you until I die and then beyond into whatever void or afterlife there is, because nothing will stop me from loving you.”
Absolutely swoon-worthy.

If you love short mafia romances that are sweet but also have that perfect touch of morally gray, definitely check this book out!
