Half-Drow, full attitude.

Cheyenne Summerlin isn't your typical college student –
she's a halfling with a heritage to hide and magical powers she's still figuring out how to control. But when supernatural threats emerge from the shadows, she'll have to step into the spotlight she's been avoiding.

With sharp wit, explosive magic, and a dash of rebellion, this series follows one woman's journey to embrace her true nature and fight back against those who would cage her.

The world can’t know Cheyenne’s a Drow halfling. Not yet. She barely has her powers under control, but time’s up.

The black-ops government group believe they can run her life... But Cheyenne has plans ofher own.

Watch out magical evil doers – Cheyenne’s about to crash your party.

Perfect for fans of urban fantasy who love their heroines snarky, their magic untamed, and their adventures non-stop. Enter a world where nothing is what it seems, and one halfling's attitude might be the only thing standing between our realm and magical chaos.

Okay, I'm a late bloomer who's a big DC comics fan and spent my childhood summers on the Jersey shore but I was born under a wandering star and have lived in different parts of America ever since. That's enough about me. Need to feel inspired today? Looking for something to make you root for an ordinary hero? I'm all about that in everything I write.

I love a good tale that makes me wonder about things and I love a story even more that leaves me feeling inspired or like I'm capable of doing more than I realized. That's my goal with everything I've ever written. Some of the stories I tell involve twisting, turning thrillers and others have a lot of magic.

There's something to be said for getting lost in another world and coming out the other side feeling a little better about yourself or the possibilities in front of you. That's basically the best part of life in a nutshell, no matter what kind of story I'm setting out to tell.

Thank you for checking out my stories!

only 18 people… Wish there were more

This omnibus takes a hold of you and you just can’t put it down. I got through all 18 novels in one week but lost a lot of sleep in the process. This is two magical worlds put together in a way I’ve never read from anyone else. The character progression and Weaves are well put together. I thoroughly enjoyed my time reading all of these. I highly recommend them. And cheers to the black flame, may she reign forever…

Well written story

The tale was very well done. It kept my interest throughout with many turns that were cleverly woven into the narrative. I highly recommend it.

Rather conflicted after reading the whole thing

Having been into RPGs for a long time, I was intrigued by a drowning protagonist with a bunch of traditional villain races like orcs and goblins. There were no other elves represented nor other fantasy races like dwarves. It was odd but not a dealbreaker. My first major issue came with the introduction of Drow speed which allows the Drow to move so fast they become invisible. The physics of it was problematic enough but the author provided no rationale for a pair of Van goth boots, or any other clothing, could survive the heat or strain on the material from running hundreds of miles an hour, which would not make the runner invisible.

There are lots of other problems like the very bright protagonist has to be confronted with the same lesson numerous times before learning. She is young and has warlike genes that might explain it but it seemed more likely that she needed to be dumb to get to the next battle.

Finally, the magic item that allows her to resolve the major dilemma of the story is introduced several chapters before the climax. During those days, it will be obvious to the reader what the key is but she never mentions to her comrades how she might use this magical item. From her inner monologue, it doesn't seem that she realizes it until a moment of desperation. It left the climax anticlimactic.

I think Mr Anderson has potential to be a good writer someday. He needs better attention to detail, consistency in what context has been created before, and tying the various threads together coherently. He also seems to have a tendency to make up science. I have read a number of his books, in different genres, and don't think I will read any more. Life is too short.

I absolutely loved this series! What a story!

Cheyenne is an incredible character and one I have come to love reading about. She is drow and she is human, and therefore quite different to other humans or magical beings. This series is very detailed when it comes to the magical world and I love how seamlessly the two worlds fit together. The story was interesting from start to finish. The characters are full of life and fully fleshed out in every case. I have never read anything quite so enjoyable before. The entire series was thrilling and I kept wanting more as I read each book. Not many books have affected me quite as deeply as this series has. I will miss the characters going forward.

Best magical series

From the first book, the introduction of characters and plot, to the last chapter of the final book, this series is honest and informative. Not just witchcraft and Fae, the series has a variety of interesting characters who accomplish great things, saving the world and the humans who have no idea magicals exist!! A great read!

So good

Finally a story about a young magical woman without a stupid romance. It took me two weeks to finish the whole thing. I am sad it ended. I highly recommend.
