I read the entire series in less than 3 days! Just as I thought I knew where the storyline was heading, I was left reeling from the twists and turns. I honestly was kept in suspense the entire way through the series. The personality are so enticing, drawing you in. Light magic and dark magic is taken to a whole new level, as both fight for dominance. Betrayed by the people who are supposed to protect, Brie is transported 300 years into the past. It was so entertaining reading how Brie adjusts to the new timeline and the very interesting characters she meets. When she realised that she is once again betrayed, she flees, right into the arms of the enemy. What transpires from then, is a whirlwind of action, love, loyalty and battle scenes to rival any I've read. There is sooooo much to say for this series but the best would be, READ IT NOW!

Just finished reading this series and I absolutely loved it! Brielle and Leo are my absolute favorites! I loved the world that R.L. Perez created and her magic system was very interesting.

Brie is a witch and, unlike the other witches in her cover, she has no special abilities. She can cast spells, but she doesn't have her own affinity like everyone else. As a result, she is seen as a threat and at the age of 16 is sent into a portal to be with other paranormal beings who can't control their affinities. This is where she meets Leo and the line between good and evil becomes blurred.

This series has light magic covens, dark magic covens, witches, vampires, werewolves, demons, time travel. It's like if charmed merged with supernatural.

There is always something happening, so if you like a series with little to no down time then this is the series for you.

The main two characters are a witch, Brielle, and a vampire, Leo. The books are told in both of their POVs and I loved that. The title of each chapter tells you whose POV it is going to be in, so that there is no guess work when the POVs do switch.

There are so many twists in this series that I was pleasantly surprised about. When I first started reading I found my self guessing on what would happen and how I thought the story would play out. I was very wrong and pleased at how wrong I was.

The relationship between Brie and Leo is so good and so frustrating at times, but in the best kinds of ways. I won't tell you why because I don't want to give any spoilers.

This series is a spin off on one of her earlier series, Timecaster Chronicles, but I have yet to read that series and had no difficulty following the story line of Nightcaster Chronicles. With that said, I did love this series, so I will definitely be reading Timecaster Chronicles and other books by R.L. Perez.

***Received this series in exchange for an honest review***

The Nightcaster Chronicles by R.L. Perez is an amazing mixture of paranormal and light romance. I would gear this series towards older Y.A./N.A ; though the scenes are pretty timid and rare, the thematic elements may be too much for some readers. I enjoyed the step back into time where technology was nonexistent. It makes you appreciate the advancements we get to enjoy, while also appreciating the calm and quite of being unplugged. However, the part of this series that both surprised and intrigued me the most is the undying love of family.
A family that will risk it all to make certain everyone they love is safe is one to be cherished. That kind of love is rare. The next intriguing aspect is the love story between the protagonist, Brielle Gerrick, and the dangerous vampire, Leo Serrano. Enemies who found the good in each other and choose to make the world a better place. Life is built on the choices we make.
Readers also learn that one cannot always listen to rumors and opinions of others in order to judge someone correctly. People are more complicated than that.
I couldn’t stop reading and was so sad when the last book was finished. The ending has a twist that I did not see coming!!! Though, I think it was the perfect way to wrap up the crazy events of such a war versus good and evil.

Book 1 - Brielle gets thrown in a portal and her life changes. The good and bad get mixed up and you are not sure who to trust. Brielle is back in time with other witches from different time periods. They are all stuck in a time loop in a castle run by the Count. She runs into the leader of the vampire coven, Leo, and finds a worthy opponent. Story is steady paced and the characters are likable. The mystery around the Cursed Witch is a good one.

Book 2 - We get more of Leo in this one! This is a plus and the chemistry between Brielle and Leo is super charged. Brielle is on the other side now and fighting the aftereffects of her stay in the castle. Lilith is still a threat. Story is steady paced. We see some familiar faces show up again to help. Brielle is still unsure as to where to turn. Bit of a cliffhanger ending.

Book 3 - While Brielle and Leo are separated in this one their attempts to reunite have devastating consequences. Each of them go through many transformations. Story is steady paced. A bit of a twist for the ending.

Book 1: Wow! I could tell from the very first page that this is high quality writing and it's such a refreshing change to see! The plotline is also very interesting and has original, inventive ideas that I haven't come across before. I really enjoyed the character interactions as well, so overall a really great book and definitely one of the best ARCs I've read! Can't wait to read the next one :D

Book 2: This book is a bit shorter than the first and it feels like not quite as much happens. The plot revolves around a foreign coven of werewolves invading the city, meanwhile Brielle and Leo try to figure out how Lillith is involved and what she is influencing, but it somehow feels less dramatic than the first book. I still enjoyed it but not quite as much as the first, although I did read a lot of this book with a killer migraine so maybe that's why I was less enthusiastic. Regardless I'm still looking forward to reading the final installment and hopefully there's a powerful conclusion to this story

Book 3: And I'm finished!! And I LOVED it!! **Warning there will be slight spoilers for the first book in this part**. I'm so glad this was a brilliant ending and the book overall was great! Probably the best of the 3 and the emotions and characters are so well written! The only thing that annoyed me was how stubborn Brielle was at constantly abandoning her family and friends to throw herself into dangerous situations that would get herself or mortals killed, and no matter how many times they proved they wouldn't judge her and would help her no matter what it too a LONG time before she finally trusted them, but although I feel it should have happened after maybe the 3rd time not 6th I still think it showed amazing character development and I'm so glad she did mature and learn to embrace her family and their differences. But overall I absolutely loved this book and I'm so glad I read it! I will definitely be reading the new series when it comes out, and I hope at some point these characters will be revisited, maybe further in the future.

I loved everything about this series. I thought the story was well paced and captivating.

Brielle was born into a witch coven, but she never comes into her powers. When she is told she is going to go to rehab to get help, she is actually transported back in time. As Brie is trying to adjust to her new life she learns about Lillith's curse, and Brie begins to worry that she is cursed.

I loved the dual points of storytelling, it really helped bring the story to life.

The world the Author created was so fun and really interesting. There are so many twists you are kept guessing! So far I have loved every book by R.L. Perez, I will definitely be reading anything and everything else!

In Nightcaster Chronicles: The Complete Series, by R.L. Perez, a dark power rises, foe becomes ally and the souls of the undead hang in the balance. Brielle can't access her magic and because of a prophecy, she is sucked through a time portal in an effort to awaken her powers. Struggling to survive she is forced to put her trust in Leo and his coven of vampires, despite having been enemies, when the threat of Lilith, who wants control of Brielle to access phoenix power for her own, is willing to kill anyone that stands in her way. I enjoyed this boxset that I received through bookfunnel and recommend for 16+. There may be triggers for some. The books in the series, along with the boxset, are available on Amazon

A fantastic series full of excitement, surprises and adventure.
Well developed characters that show growth throughout and a storyline that flows well.
Was not expecting to like a story that starts with time travel, this was not only enjoyable but an enthralling read too.
Was pleasantly surprised by the final ending, it brings the series to a close very well.
Favourite character was Izzy, she was brave and so loyal!

I’d recommend this book as a fantastic witchy/fantasy based story, for anyone who wants something a little different.

Nightcaster

I enjoyed this series. At times it really lagged and at others it took off like a shot. The end didn't make sense when Nix did what she did. I wish that was explained better. I like how the ultimate bad guy is through the whole series but the first book focused mainly on a different person and so did the second one. It's definitely a romance but there's only any action at the end of the third book. If your looking for a lot of steamy sex you're not going to get that.

This is one collection I couldn't put down after I started. Brielle and Leo were great characters going from enemies, to allies, and later to admitting to each other their love for one another. In their battle to save to count's victims, Leo's coven, Bri's family, and Nix from Lilith, lives are lost and friends are made. The ending was tough to take, but it wrapped up in a way the reader would enjoy. Highly recommend this series.

Wow! This series was absolutely amazing - I couldn’t put it down! Amazing world and Character building - with so many twists and turns!

It’s a Fantasy story with witches, demons, vampires , time travel, Light magic vs Dark Magic and a enemies to lovers storyline. This series has everything you could want!

We follow Brielle who is a witch and hasn’t developed an affinity with her powers. This is seen as being cursed with the potential for evil to take over her body. She’s sent back through a time portal to the year 1735 and it’s here that she meets Leo - an arrogant vampire. I won’t say anymore so not to give anything away - you’ll have to go read it to find out what happens!

It is such a beautifully written story that keeps you engaged and guessing right up until the end! You won’t regret it!

This series is sooo good! I like how the battle between good and evil is taken to a different kind of level. The characters were wonderfully written, enticing and relatable. The going back 300 years in time thing was a nice touch. It was so gripping I finished it in a day and a half.
This story is a nice pick for those who enjoy paranormal fiction and those of us who read fast.💖💖💖💖

Real enjoyed the story.
It contains sex scenes, some violence but has no course language.
The narrator is great, each character their own unique voice, adding to the story.
I would listen to Sample before getting book. As people‘s tastes very.
I enjoyed the story, and hoping the story doesn’t end there. Hoping for new adventures.
