On a Fault Line

Collins

Penny Hoffman is mine. Well, for the next one hundred days at least.

Not only do I have a document that says as much, but I plan to ruin her for all other men to the point where she’ll still think of me after this all ends.

If that makes me a monster, so be it. Besides, she’s the one who forced us into this with her persistence. Now that we’ve already crossed the point of no return, I’m going to at least savor every taste of forbidden fruit.

We are both invested in keeping this secret. Let’s just hope it doesn’t blow up in our faces.

Penny

When I signed my name on the contract, submitting to Collins Stone for his protection, I knew then that my life was never going to be the same.

This man doesn’t do anything halfheartedly. Thus, when he promises he’ll take care of me in all ways, I believe him.

But the more time we spend together, the more invisible strings tie us to one another. How am I ever going to evict him from my life when the contract duration comes to an end?

Our entire relationship is built on a fault line. I just hope we both survive the aftermath.

On a Fault Line is the second book in the two-part Forbidden Contract Series that should be read in order.

Victoria is the author of fiery heroines and possessive heroes. She thrives on writing stories that transcend the minds of readers, allowing them to get lost in the journey to love—and all the drama that entails. Prior to delving heart first into the romance writing world, she taught middle and high school students mathematics for ten years.

Victoria Dawson is a unique combination of hopeful realist and hopeless romantic. She is an iced coffee connoisseur, a reality TV enthusiast, and a habitual wearer of stretchy pants. Having grown up in an itty bitty town in Pennsylvania, Victoria is a little bit country. She currently resides in Maryland with her family.

If you’re a fan of age-gap, forbidden romance with just the right balance of steam and story, On A Fault Line by Victoria Dawson is an absolute must-read. From the very first page, this book grabs your attention and doesn’t let go. It’s sexy, suspenseful, and packed with emotional tension that keeps you flipping pages late into the night.

Dawson nails the spice-to-plot ratio perfectly—there’s heat, yes, but also real depth to the characters and their connection. The forbidden nature of the romance only adds to the intensity, and the chemistry between the leads is undeniable.

One of the best parts? You get to reconnect with characters from her previous series. That crossover element adds a whole new layer of enjoyment for longtime fans and makes the world she’s built feel even richer.

Victoria Dawson never misses, and On A Fault Line is no exception. If you love romance with substance, sizzle, and a touch of danger, this one needs to be at the top of your TBR.

Faultless

Penny and Collins have fallen hard for each other, but as long as her family doesn't know, he is convinced she will be better off without him in the long term. Meanwhile, the plan is in place to eliminate Mark Tanner, who is in prison,or is he?
This is the second book in this series, and the seventh about the Hoffman siblings. It features characters and events from previous stories, but you don't need to have read the first five.
I enjoyed this more than the first about these two. Kinky sex, honeymoon type relationship, and imaginary threats which become very real.
Terrific.

Perfect ending

OMG I freaking LOVED this book! I may love Collins more than Graham or Nic! I struggled to put this down and was freaking out toward the end. It was so intense! Loved every single second of the conclusion to Collins and Penny.

The second book is far better than the first although her whole reaction was a bit over the top for what happened with mark tanner. So suffice it to say that she was very naive, sweet innocent and not prepared for monsters.
