Ulsterman W.J. Lennox (1862-1935), a relative of the scientist and apologist Professor John Lennox, was born near Cookstown in Northern Ireland. He moved to Armagh to establish a business and became a highly respected member of the community. More importantly, he became a leading figure in the nascent spiritual movement known by others as the Needed Truth brethren (after the magazine of the name) in the late nineteenth and early 20th-century with the Churches of God (churchesofgod.info). This engaging collection of part of his writings reflects some of the distinctive teachings reflected in the magazine, including the topics of the breaking of bread, the House of God, and holy priesthood service within it. The collection finishes with "My Story' - his own account of his discovery of the truth of God's house and the difficult decision he made to leave his former 'Open Brethren' associations.
Hi! I'm Wendy. I write fantasy books about damaged heroes and vengeful villains, real life places and faraway worlds, ancient myths and dark magic, fate and free will. I'm currently working on my first epic fantasy trilogy, THE CRYSTAL KEEPER. Set between present day Scotland and the medievalesque world of Galidom, the story centres around two dysfunctional families from two different worlds, bound by blood, fate, and two mysterious crystals.
I live with my husband and two sons in the Scottish Borders. BC (Before Children) I worked as a Senior Occupational Therapist in the field of neurology and medicine for ten years.
Being the omnipotent God of Galidom is a full-time job, but when I'm not creating kingdoms or cleaning up after my teenage demigods, you can usually find me exploring ancient ruins, wandering in the woods, curled up with a book or catching up with Netflix.
If you’d like to connect with me elsewhere, here are my usual haunts:
