January 5, 2025For romantasy lovers who enjoy a book with Greek mythology vibes. Friends / lovers / enemies all mixed in. Plus world-building, magic/power systems and mythical creatures as well.
It is set in another world which the Greek gods used to visit before a rift was created to prevent their return. The demigods that remain are the only ones who can save Lorinthia from falling under the rule of evil forces. Aside from this the main character, Tiama, is on a path of both self-discovery and also falling fast for one of her best friends. There is a classic battle of good v evil underpinning this book but some characters fall into a grey category - which side they are on is unclear.

Amazing characters, really hooked me. Can’t wait for the second book to come out.

January 5, 2025Greek mythology reimagined in a different world. Interesting magic system and twists I didn’t see coming. Not normally my sort of thing but this one kept me hooked.
