Taking me to pound town to the tempo of the NY countdown?! Yes please! This was a real grown and sexy read and they were doing more than a little bit of hunchin. I look forward to exploring more of Danielle’s catalog in 2025.

I recommend reading the series for better character understanding/development/backstory

Jules and Aya were sexy, seductive, and secretive. I need more of these two.
I loved the jokes between Jules and Parris. I was literally laughing out loud.
It was good to see Jules in a different light because he came off a little different to me in To Parris With Love. At times he seemed like he didn’t have it together, especially when Eric got too close to Tinsley. But now I’m wondering if that’s because he was off with Aya at the time? 🤔 These two are sneakyyyyyy and I love it.
I need more. Hands down.

Definitely recommending this for anyone who wants to have a good time on NYE with a short and sexy novelette! ✨🕛

Interesting

There was a lot of build up about her client being in danger but it just got dropped for make out scenes. Which would be fine if in between those scenes there wasn't potentially more opportunities for Aya’s client (who is supposed to be super important to her and her friend too) to be messed with. Instead of worrying about that, Aya pulls Jules off his job of keeping a look out to ensure Eriq can't mess with anything so they can make out more because they can't wait an hour.

This book had me feeling like I was having hot flashes!!! The spice between Aya & Jules and was like a summer in Miami!

This was a fun & exciting quick read! The chemistry between the main character got me wanting to learn more about them and their back story.

Overall it was a good read. Wish it was more character development. I was familiar with the characters from reading a preview book that mentioned them.

Loving Protection

Jules said get you a short King!! Standing at 5'6" he was thick and strong..assigned to help protect Tinsley a superstar singer. However, it was Tinsley's manager Aya that sneakily stole his heart and whom he would truly give anything to protect as his own. 

This was sexy. These two were supposed to be working but I couldn't tell, because they were too busy working each other out🤭🤭 After months of being apart these two expressed physically how much they missed each other all over somebody's mansion lol. The thrusts to the countdown....well yes sign me on up as that is the perfect way to bring in the new year.

If you're looking for a short, fun read, this is it. I discovered this author last year on threads, and I am so glad i did. I have enjoyed every book I've read from her. I especially enjoyed the passion between the two characters. I can't wait for the next book from this author

This was a spicy New Year's Eve novelette that appeared to reconnect Jules & Aya. Although they were both on the job with Tinsley performing and Aya being her manager and Jules, one of her bodyguards, they found time to sneak way with each other to fulfill their sexual desires. Also, it seemed Parris had Tinsley's security under control.

I believe this is the third book in the series which I have not yet read but I was able to still enjoy this story and I will be going back to read the rest of this series. I also would love to see more of these two characters.
