“More” by Chuck Grossart is a classic tale with a twist you will never see coming, until it smacks you in the face. Little Riley was not well, and the frequent recurring nightmares weren’t helping a bit. In fact, the nightmares seemed to get a little worse every time he fell asleep.

“More” is a tale that touches on the use of animals for experimentation. It will catch you off-guard, but you may find it strangely pleasing. Give it a read, and see what you think. Chuck Grossart is a talented purveyor of horror in small doses, and “More” is a great example of his work.

I received a free kindle copy of More, A Flash Fiction Story by Chuck Grossart in an Amazon promotion.

I gave this very short story five stars. It embodied things that created fear at a visceral level.

Riley, a ten year old boy cried out in his sleep.

"Go away go away!

He kicked his covers & clawed at his arm, trying to escape the horrid vision which chased him through his dreams, a thing reaching through the foggy barrier between sleep & light, wanted to drag him away."

This flash fiction story was truly frightening.
