This is the fourth out of twelve novellas following Vera and her mates in the Her Vicious Pack serial, a dark contemporary reverse harem/Why Choose romance set in a sweet Omegaverse world about a criminal found family empire with dreams of ‘expanding the family’.
This novella may include any of these steamy scenes, ‘I need tissues NOW’ moments, cries of ‘why, oh, why’ and cliffhangers that make you bite your nails (and curse the author).

This fourth installment of Her Vicious Pack presented us with little plot development, but a whole lot of character development! Getting to know Riley as she navigates her entry into the pack was great and quite surprising if you’ve not familiarized yourself with the inter-workings of this particular omegaverse world - biologically speaking. You get a huge dose of the effects of living in a dark and dangerous world, which lends so much relatability to the characters and overall storyline. This novella has spice and is generally low-angst, but is definitely setting the stage for some drama. I’m very excited for the plot to progress in the next novella!

I was very excited to receive an ARC to continue this story. I'm really enjoying the different dynamics between the pack. I love how it feels like a slice of life story with a little murder and mayhem. Lol

A spicy read as Riley comes to the front of the story as Mathew and Vera go into heat There's a little bit of tension between Jorge and Riley as we get to know her a bit better. I love the characters and the chemistry between them. I'm excited to see where the story goes next.

You definitely need to read prior books to understand what's happening in the book. Read your trigger warnings. FF action in this novel. If the smexy times has to be realistic then this one may not be for you. The Alpha female's lady bits can grow into something that will penetrant into another female or male. Loving the story line, would like less of a review of prior books to advance more.
