About the author

Rae is a daydreamer, nurse, bookworm, nature enthusiast, wife, momma, animal activist and an optimist. She has lived her entire life in NYC and loves to travel with her family. She believes that sweets should have a larger piece of the nutritional pyramid and that Buffy the Vampire Slayer was one of the best TV shows ever invented. When she is not working as a nurse in her community, she can either be found reading, writing, or taking a walk while listening to music. She has been writing books in her mind for as long as she can remember but decided that maybe there were others out in the world that would find joy in the words she would put down on the page.

This is the second in this series of the Broken Chain MC. These characters are a match made in hell, but soon becomes a match made in adult time.
Luna is on a mission to find her Sister, but she runs into Brick, and it maybe lust at first sight but they both are stubborn and set in their ways.
Brick, the President of the Broken chains, has rules and regulations that he set for the club and he expects everyone to follow them, even himself. When the club runs across Luna and her sister Wendy, it starts a reaction that Brick isn’t expecting.
Luna and Brick work together to find her sister, who is missing after getting clean, and their story starts to get hot and deeper, then they really want, but it makes them a good team.
They slowly build a relationship between them and Luna with the club, and they are there for each other when stuff goes bad. Their love is hot, deep, and lasting.

Brick and Luna

Brick and Luna are pure fire and I loved every minute of it. With Luna’s sister missing she will do whatever it takes to find her. Brick is more than the man for the job helping Luna out on her mission to bring her sister home. Luna isn’t afraid to speak to the Prez of the outlaw Brutal Chains MC and she is the only person he allows to let that happen.

I loved watching Brick and Luna find their balance with each other. The drama in this book made this book a one sit read. Hold on to your hats because there is something that will blow your mind. I think my mouth is still hanging open. I love this author and look forward to more coming from her.

I'm always fascinated by this author's books and this one is emotional just the risks that Luna is willing to take to find her sister is nerve wracking. Ex-Con or not I really like Brick and enjoyed how his and Luna's relationship becomes a slow burn while helping her look for her sister. If intense risks, other MC's gunning to be top dog and edge of your seat excitement is your idea of a fantastic read I recommend this one.

Luna is checking drug houses looking for her sister, Wendy. He is an ex con just out of prison convicted of stalking, kidnapping and attempted murder. That was his stepfather and he killed his mother. He went for payback. But no one wants to hear anthing past ex con. He can't get involved because the police would hone in on him and lose their objectivity.
Brick is the President of the Brutal Chains MC is sitting at a bar with a picture of a young woman who almost overdosed at his warehouse a few weeks ago. Now the mess is back because someone is looking for her. When he leaves the bar he looks around the street and sees someone he knows. When he goes to tap her shoulder she slaps him hard. Then he finds out she jumped out a window and is injured. He's not leaving her here he's taking her to his home so he can take care of her injuries. After some stupid stuff he does, like kiss her, he takes her to her place. He walks her up then heads out only to hear glass breaking and her yelling for him. He rushes back to find a guy grabbing her and tearing her shirt. He takes care of the guy only for him to jump out the window he came in. He tells her he's taking her away until they figure out what's going on and why she is a target. She's not happy but she agrees. She calls BS. So he tells her the missing woman and others would just bring the cops to him and he won't go back inside. She asks why he was in prison so he explains. To his surprise she hugs him and tells him she'd do the same for her family.She asks for a compromise...help her check out a few places while his computer whiz does his thing. He agrees.
Now the two are looking and things are getting dicey. Why are they after Luna? Where is her sister? And is she more to him than a way to stay out of prison?
A story that zigs and zags and leaves the reader breathless as the MC and Brick seek answers.

This is the second book in the brutal chains MC series. Well, the story is a standalone. There are references and things that happened in the first book that are alluded to in this story. You will have a better reading experience if you read them in order as you will pick up details and information about the character as well as auxiliary characters. He is the president of the brutal chains MC. He keeps seeing her around at sketchy spots while she’s trying to find her missing sister. He is determined to save her from herself. They are attracted to each other, but both trying to fight it for different reasons. In the midst, they are trying to find her missing sister and there is danger as well as a MC drama plot arc. In the midst of the chaos, they rely on each other and give their passion. He is a damaged hero one that has made mistakes in his past, but has a true part of gold he just has to learn to trust and let someone in. She is used to fighting and fighting to keep her sister out of trouble. She is a Spitfire who won’t let anyone get in her way, but she really needs is a protector and someone to be on her side. There is drama to be vivid, but they fight through it on their way to their own happily ever after.

Brick is the second story in the Brutal Chains MC series. This novel is amazingly written, exceptionally balanced and beautifully executed by Rae B. Lake. Rae B. Lake continues to show what an incredible author she is with each amazing romance book that I have read by her so far. I can hardly wait to see what her next book will be about. The main characters of this story are Brick and Luna. The characters are well developed and beautifully executed throughout the story. I couldn’t get enough of their phenomenal story. I absolutely adored getting to know both Brick and Luna as well as seeing their story come to life through the pages of this amazing MC romance. The chemistry between these two phenomenal characters is absolutely breathtakingly beautiful and undeniably irresistible. This novel is most certainly a book that I would HIGHLY recommend to anyone who enjoys reading MC romances.

Luna is on a mission to find her sister who has a drug problem and while she's out looking for her Luna runs into Brick who's the president of the Brutal Chains MC. Brick wants to find the woman who OD'd in his warehouse before it threatens the club and everything he built and Luna will do whatever it takes to find her sister. The two of them are attracted to each other but they're avoiding facing their attraction to each other instead they team up to look for Luna's sister because Brick wants to protect Luna. I don't want to say anymore and ruin it for anyone else with spoilers. You really need to read this deliciously dark and twisted emotional, enemies to lovers, MC romance to see what happens. I would recommend reading this book.

Searching for her sister brings her into his world

Brick is the second book in the Brutal Chains MC series. This is a standalone story but there are some things and characters from the first book that are referenced or pop up. The story is about Luna and Brick. She is looking for her missing sister Wendy and he is the President of the BCMC. Luna is not fully aware of just how much danger she is putting herself in while she is searching for her sister and asking questions that people do not want answered. Brick keeps running into the lovely Luna and there is something that pulls to his protective side, along with something further down. Together they spark chemistry and passion. They work together to track down Wendy which brings her further into his MC family but also into the line of danger. Will they find Wendy? Will they build a future together, brick by brick?

Luna has a lot going on in her life trying to take care of her sister Wendy and try to keep her on the straight and narrow and now she is getting assaulted in the buildings by addicts and having someone break in her house and try to beat her up. Brick came to her rescue and has had her back since then and she slowly but surly finds her place in his life. The chemistry between this couple is so fiery and full of laughter. I love that Luna doesn't back down to his Alpha ways. The way she seems to fit into his family and place he has made for himself is so much fun to read. This series is just getting better and better as we go along and get to know each and every member in their MC. Can't wait to see what Light's book brings us. You definitely don't want to pass up reading this series.

Ohhhh I love this book! Brick and Luna are absolutely amazing together. Sparks fly that could burn the whole town down. They are both alphas, both headstrong and stubborn, and both have protective souls. The romance is profound and the sexytime is off the hook.

A mixed bag of things. I liked Brick' character, but not Luna's. Beneath his tough exterior is a kinder, protective side. She is brash, defiant, intolerant of things not going her way, demanding and overbearing, but they are well suited.
The danger lurking in the shadows affects them both and the MC is at risk. Her searching for her sister is relentless, but reckless as she puts others at risk. Her character does change and soften towards the end and makes her more likeable.
The conflict with another group is not to be ignored, despite there being some kind of understanding between the two fractions.
Loved the final few pages and look forward to reading the next in series.

This is a beautiful and emotional story. We follow Luna she is a woman to be reckoned with.. When her sister goes missing she does everything to find her herself searching in drug houses where drug addicts like her sister Wendy often stay. When Brick hears that she is looking for her sister he decides to help her. As president of the MC and the fact that he also knows Wendy it is no problem to help and especially when it turns out that the enemies of his MC are behind the disappearance of her sister. A good story with enough action, danger, action, violence, romance and enough hot and steamy moments between them.

Brick started the Brutal Chains MC when he got out of prison, their rules are to stay out trouble so no one goes back to jail. He runs into Luna when she is going thru crack house after crack house trying to find her sister, that almost OD'd in the club's warehouse. He promises to help her find her but she must not go out alone.

I loved this pair, Luna was not one to back down, she was ready to charge into any situation. Brick has his hands full with this one but he is just as stubborn as she is. Who will win the battle of wills?.

Brick is an intense, slow burn, chaotic, dramatic, emotional story. I love the dynamics between Brick and Luna. She's not one to take any crap and meets everything head on. Knowing that, it's no surprise when her sister goes missing that she takes the lead and finding her. Trying to keep a strong willed woman safe is proving to be quite a job for Brick though. Brick, as always with this author, is an engaging story that pulls you in from all sides and has you feeling everything these characters do.

Why is it that people and animals named Luna are such wild childs? The Luna in Brick's story is no different! Always running on full throttle trying to protect her sister, Luna runs in to a Brick wall. Brick, your all round alpha and sometimes hole, tries to hold Luna together will fighting his own demons. The turn of events is what I would have expected in a good book, and Rae didn't disappoint! Can't wait to read Light's story after making a electric tactical error.

Brick isn't good enough for any woman? That's what he thinks with his history and inability to protect those most close to him. He will help protect his brothers and keep them out of jail after his stint.
He comes across Luna who is looking for her sister and he steps up to help her especially since she is looking in very dark areas. They start to get close and then tragedy hits and it brings up his past which he has trouble handling.
His MC family is there for him and helps to focus his attention on where it needs to be to take care of business.
They get their HEA with much work.

Brick and Luna were scorching hot. So much passion and desire between them and when Luna is on the search for her sister Brick does all he can to help her. This was a great read and there was non stop action throughout the entire book so you will most definitely not be bored. This is an intense read and you have a strong willed and defiant woman and an alpha male so you know there will be fireworks between them. Looking forward to the next book in this series.

Loved it. I loved Luna's sass and the how she didn't hold her tongue with Brick in the beginning. She's a strong women and the perfect gal for Brick. Brick feels he doesn't deserve to have someone like her in his life, but after he shares his story and her response to it he changes a bit and is all in. Seeing them break after a tragic situation did me in. I loved her response when he tried to shoulder all the blame. I can't wait to get my hands on Light's book.

This is the second book in the Brutal Chains MC by Rae B. Lake and even though it refers to things that happened in book 1, I think it can be read as a stand-alone. Luna and Brick were well written characters, the attraction was sizzling, there was action, drama, and more. This was fast paced, short read and a solid 4 stars from me.

Damn great read. Rae just has a way of sucking you in and then bam your hearts breaking at the tragedy that unfolds.
Brick may be a tough biker who has seen the in side of a jail cell but he also has a softer side and no matter how outlandish Luna's actions are he knows its all for the sake of finding her sister.
I can't wait to read the next one.

This is the second book in this series. I love all of the MMCs names. Brick and Luna's book is so good even though there are some devastatingly sad parts. I love how Brick and Luna get together. Luna is a strong, intelligent woman who gives Brick a run for his money. These two have instant chemistry and grow into a great relationship. Great book!

Good read!

Didn't care too much for Luna but Brick gave all the feels. Good read but definitely check out the trigger warnings. Surprise twist that was totally unexpected but made the read all that much better. Was a little concerning that Bea and Luna didn't interact almost to the point they didn't know each other despite meeting in Bea and Hook"s story. Good read!

Wow. I will start by saying I ugly cried a few times. These characters and their connection was off the charts. So much drama, angst, action and steam. I love all the characters in this series soo definitely not disappointed. Epic.
