From the very first pages of this story, you realize a shift in Allie and Erik's relationship but not in the way you think.

The change comes in the form of communication.

A BDSM book where the main takeaway is communication.
It's an interesting concept, isn't it?

They've been able to talk for years about the kids, the bills, and all of the things that come with having a family. The one thing that was lacking was their communication with their needs and wants from the other.

In Book one, Unbound they start to explore and with that comes the need for communication. BDSM is not something you go into blindly. It is something that has to be discussed so that you are meeting the needs of your partner in a safe and healthy way. Allie and Erik did that.

The results of that are within these pages...

Allie is more than happy to explore her sexual desires with the man she loves because they have created a safe space for that. Erik trusts Allie to speak up if/when something becomes too much.

And what you get as the reader is a sinful story about rediscovering yourself and the cravings you have for your partner. When I said in my last review that this is what I mean by relatable characters, it is because it is true. As you get older, and your relationship settles you don't want to lose the parts that made you fall in love in the first place.

From a necklace of leather, a bullet vibe, and dirty talk galore Skylar and Logan have created a world I never want to leave.

I’m loving these characters so much & I can’t wait to see what the next one brings us!!!!

I love how we get to see them both as parents & as a couple because a lot of times, we forget that we exist outside of parenting. It’s important for us to keep in mind that we are still human beings with wants and needs!

This series allows us to step outside that box and focus on maintaining a healthy sex life, regardless of our parental status. ❤️❤️❤️

Synonymous with a Logan Black book. Thought I’d take a look and wasn’t dissatisfied with the content and the writing . It was a great read. First he had to satisfy the kids before his bid to spank his wife good and hard in the bedroom was on the cards. He bought just the thing to make her sting and her he did pleasure bring on. Erik and Allie are a dream couple ,three strapping boys but ooh when they start to talk with each other and deeply discover their needs and desire that’ll bring joy and desire. Afire they explore ,their hearts go boom they’re aflame in the bedroom , the spark is back with a vengeance as Erik starts Al Allie’s engines and keeps their love alive. Great writing

Erik and Allie. The parents to three rambunctious boys. Rediscovering the feelings that brought them together in the first place. They are so fortunate to have a home where their bedroom is on one side of the house and the boys are on the other. (We didn't have that pleasure. ) They still got plenty of interruptions, but didn't need to be gagged. A short action packed read.

OMG - I LOVE this book and this series - I can hardly wait to read the next one in the series. Allie and Erik are dipping their toes into the BDSM pool and LOVING it. They are reading books, buying toys AND Allie is discovering she likes to be punished (like a lot of us!)! I really like how they are navigating their way through this new world BUT then they also have the day-to-day life with their 2 sons that are about the age to start asking questions. Allie and Erik continue their exploration of spicing up their marriage. This time with Allie experiencing the kiss of the belt.

The thing this series offers, that so few others do, is a completely plausible portrayal of working “couple time” into the busy life of full-time parents. The buildup between Allie and Erik is as much due to the frustration of constantly being interrupted by the kids as it is the flirtatious banter between themselves. This realism just makes it all the hotter when they finally are able to get down and dirty.

Once things get rolling, the spice is hot as the couple strengthens their D/s dynamic. But even here reality seasons the stew: “He seemed to move between two different head spaces, dom and sweet husband.. Sometimes I wished he would just stay in dom mode.”

For me, fantasies are hotter when they’re built on at least a solid kernel of reality. This series certainly is, and I’m really enjoying it.
