Welcome to the Cruel Masquerade. If you can find your husband among the masked courtiers, you can keep him. If you fail, he dies.
I thought I’d witnessed every messed up, twisted thing the world had to offer. But that was before Cruelty. Before masquerade balls at Ford, full of eerie music, thinly-veiled threats, and courtiers who seem just a little too perfect.
Cruelty has taken one of my men and hidden him among the masked revellers in a new sadistic game. But who has she taken? Miz, who almost died days ago? Death, who’s become dangerously weak? Tor, who was drained of power with a single cut? Or Madde, who needs me to fight his demons?
No matter how hard I search, I can’t find him. And it’s becoming harder to play along to Cruelty’s delusions and hide how much I hate her.
But if I slip up even once, she’ll kill him.
All Hallows Masque is a dark paranormal romance with psycho gods, a snarky heroine who finds her inner badass, twisted romance, and a secret society of sadists

Leigh Kelsey is the author of romance and reverse harem books for anyone with a soft spot for steely women and the tortured men who love them. No matter what stories she's writing - vampires or shifters or bad boys - they all share a common thread of love, heart, and action. She is the author of the Lili Kazana series, the Moonlight Inn series, the Dead Space stand alone, and the Blacktower Prison for Supernaturals series, plus many more books.
The fourth book in the series, All Hallows Masque, finds Cat and her guys separated again. Ugh! When are they going to catch a break? I feel bad for all of them, but it was Madde's anguish that really got to my heart. I took an instant liking to him, and while he is a Death God, he's the most sensitive of the group.
No one could have guessed the plot twist that was Cruelty. The goddess completely took me by surprise. The big reveal occurred in the last book; in this one, the goddess takes center stage. She's an even bigger threat than Nightmare was, and not because of her level of evil genius; no, she's crazier than a squirrel that's lost all its nuts. It's terrifying, and she hides it all behind a genuine smile.
I loved the atmosphere. It was very Gothic. A dark manor, moody weather, creepy moors, lush gardens, masquerade balls, and questionable visions. This book was a whole vibe. It was also complete and utter devastation. There was horror movie-level quality stuff, with loads of pain, both emotional and physical. Everyone but Cruelty and her psychotic brother took a beating. Like, it was freaking bad. There were no good moments, only slight reprieves. I love it when a plot twist mows me down out of nowhere. The plot twist was a good one. No one could have guessed it, but what does it mean for the rest of the book?
All Hallows Masque was an excellent read, but damage has been done. Leigh was freaking brutal with that ending. I felt that crap in my soul. I'll be in purgatory until the next release. I need things fixed sooner rather than later. Bring on All Hallows Legacy, I'm ready.
This is amazing, I flew through it, reading it in one sitting. This is my favourite series by Leigh Kelsey and each book gets better and more intriguing. There are so many elements to this one, with too many surprises and too many chances to spoil it for others. I did love meeting the other death gods, that Neglect scares Madde and Miz 😅 The mind games played on Cat were beyond cruel, her dreams, were they just that and can she trust her instincts over what she sees? There is even more loss for Cat and my heart broke for her, and even though she is so strong, I just wanted to cry for her and everything she’s lost. There are answers, we find out who the dark stalker is, what is happening to the domain and how to fix it, but it’s not going to be easy. We also meet Cat’s new bonded and he’s a total sweetheart. Absolutely love this ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ Also does Death meet another bonded? 🤔🤔
I feel like this series has really been going downhill. It’s starting to drag, almost like it's stretching itself just to keep up the paranormal theme. The first book blew me away — it was fresh, exciting, and hooked me immediately. The second book was still solid, but by the third, I started to lose interest. With this one, I just wanted it to be over.
What’s frustrating is knowing there are still two more books to go. I know I’ll end up reading them because I need to know how it all ends, but honestly, it’s starting to feel more like an obligation than enjoyment. I can’t pinpoint exactly where it went wrong, but I think it started with the whole experiment plotline and turning students into something else. It feels like an endless spiral, and at this point, I’m not even sure what the purpose is anymore.
I absolutely adore this series but this one was my least favorite so far. I understand why it was needed though as it really furthered the story. My least favorite parts of this series is the cliff hangers!!!
All of these books are so good!!!! And a 5th bond?!?! So many twists and turns ! Can’t wait to read the next one. I’m loving this series so much. Also pain can’t see??? I wonder why?
Another quick read filled with twists and turns. New gods are introduced, and the drama persists for this group. Ending with another cliffhanger, I hope they get a break when the series concludes.
Absolutely in love with this series and so upset I put it down to read a horror book with my coworkers that they decided not to read. Ready for the next two to be out!
Hmm a 5th. I am good with that. Not good with the ending. Cliffhangers make me sit and read on. This series is fantastic if you like poly, twisted dark games and suspense.
