THE SCRIBEMASTER CHRONICLES VOL. 3 - ECHOES

“With the right catalyst, be it by crown or halo, divinity can be choked from the most benevolent of souls—a garrote to stifle progress and maintain the septic status quo.”

The Reaver's involvement twisted an already overburdened Prime, and the result is beginning to show to all.
With the enemy converging on all sides and the persecution spreading to the Vanguard, no one is safe.

Harper has no memory of him, but still, she unfailingly finds her way into his life. Tiris can't let go; he doesn't want to, and when the peaceful melody of burgeoning romance plays to his soul once again, he refuses to silence it.
They will have their encore, Reaver be dammed.

This series gets better and better with every book's release. I can't wait to see what the next one will bring us.

We see Tiris still struggling with memories lost of their time together; poor Tiris, he’s suffering so much, but at the same time, with his decision to stab Mara in the ending of the last book, it looks like Tiris has made a decision to start fighting more and not let things go how Mara wants to, and we see that more and more in this book, even him putting the collar on; that was fun.

Mara has a harder time now fighting and messing with Harper, and now she feels like Tiris does.

I like that Harper is falling in love with Tiris all over again, showing that they are really soulmates and meant to be together. And the flashbacks of her youth are so darn cute, especially at Tiris's coronation and the first time they meet Tenko, so cute.

And I love the fact that James starts punching and beating up Mayson every chance he gets 😂. I can't get over that and cheer James on every time he does it. He really stepped up from the last book and shows how much Harper is changing him. Don't get me wrong; he's still a prick, but he is getting better.

Luka is such a cutie how he fanboys over Aya and his tech and hyperventilates when he finds out Aya worked on his laptop, and he even talks to him. 😂

James's parents are so evil. No wonder James has ended up like that when his parents barely gave a thought about him until he was useful to them. Mayson is supposed to be there for James and help him, but he only does what he wants.
When he finds someone who sees his potential and how he could be if he really tried to do better, he does anything in his power to have Harper.

Harper's friends are just the best. Her birthday present vacation was such a sweet one for her and her friends; I loved it.

And damn that cliffhanger ending again, kaboom. I just love it and can't wait to see what is next for Harper and Tiris and how they survive this.

I strongly recommend this lovely series that made me so hooked on it I want more.

This 3rd volume of The Scribemaster Chronicles was an amazing read for me. The unfolding story keeps getting better and more exciting as it goes crescendo.
In my opinion, Echoes is pivotal as we witness Tiris going through what I would call an empathy burnout, and struggling in how he should act as the Prime, all the while protecting the people he loves. I enjoyed his shifting towards a more morally grey character.
Also I was so happy to see that EV Drake decided to give us Tenko Tails again 🤗❤️ Tenko is a pure joy to read! Delving through his POV is just so adorable, hilarious and paradoxically calming 🤣
Harper’s birthday escapade to Hawaii was so peaceful to read. And as always Harper is my favorite FMC. I can’t wait to see her grow into her full potential in this epic fantasy!
We learn so much more, but still not enough!!! I have so many questions I’m dying to know the answers for and I hope the next book will answer them, especially after that cliffhanger (yes another 😤😭)!!!!
Hopefully next book will be published soon because it’s going to be pure torture waiting for it 😭
