Year of Our Lord 1777: A hardened band of international big game hunters returning from Africa are shipwrecked off a small British island. In exchange for new supplies and the repairing of their good ship The Calydonian, Lord Ludgate engages the men for a task they are particularly well suited find the Berserking Beasts that have been eating his subjects, including a group of young Benedictine Nuns, and destroy them.
The Beasts have cornered what’s left of Coffin’s crew in the bowels of the castle; where they must make their stand. At the last minute, the crew is aided by an unlikely ally…
I like how this was a self-contained story and had a surprise at the end for this reader. It's also nice to get a werewolf story which are usually overlooked compared to zombies and vampires. The art was quite dark and hard to follow in places but I guess this added to the horror element.
Comixology originals does a good job when it comes to horror.
My first book of 2026. Amidst all the carnage unleashed by the monsters and the resident army contingent that played foul, Coffin finds his lost love. Having searched and lost her the first time, his lifelong wanderlust brought him a full circle. Would he take the plunge gives this story a poignant touch and a heartfelt ending. Great work by Thomas Jane and team for driving a simple story to great heights. Great reading.
Lycan #6 Not the ending I expected, but not a bad way to end. The final battle, action, gore, and sadness. Its been an interesting journey, and I don't regret it. I would recommend this as an easy but interesting read.
Damn I have loved this series! Hope it get published in print. one of those rare books I would like a physical edition of. Excellent story and amazing artwork!
