I didn’t like Amira one bit. That silly girl sabotaged her entire future with Saleem for absolutely no reason at all. I’m still tryin’ to understand why TF she broke up with him in the first place. Even after the Gods shined upon her and put Saleem back in her life she, once again, ratchets up the self-sabotage. This chic was insufferable. When it comes to his Angel Face, Saleem stood on big business and I love that for him. We love a man who’s not afraid to love his woman unashamedly. However, what I didn’t love was him jumpin’ through hoop, after hoop, after MF hoop for Amira’s ungrateful azz. Saleem loved, supported, and provided for her but it seemed like it was just never enough for Amira. She found any reason to complain and blame. Meanwhile, she let her triflin’ azz mama dip in and out of her life playin’ tag with her feelings with absolutely no problem. Yeah, I didn't like this broad. Fate of Our Love was definitely my least favorite book in this series.

Saleem…..A Dream

BriAnn knows she can write a dreamy MMC and Saleem is further proof of that. I didn’t agree with what Amira did but I respected her for keeping it real with herself and Saleem. The two were meant to be and seeing them come back together as adults felt right. I love enjoyed this series so far and I gang wait to see who’s next!

Saleem and Amira

Love me some Saleem and Amira .

Mannnn when I tell you i ended the year with a new book bae! Saleem was everything! A man that shows up literally!!

Young love that went their seperate ways. But these two found their way back to each other. I’ve read my share of marriage of convenience but this one was different and done so well. I love this series and this one may be my favorite of the three.

If you haven’t read this series please drop what you doing and get into it now!

- I loved this book so much, I’ve went back to read my favorite parts and highlights and messaged BriAnn countless times prior to todays release. I tend to fall in love with all of her men, but Saleem is that ONE.
- This book included all of my favorite tropes in one: forced proximity, a marriage of convenience, and a second chance at love. When someone is meant for you, there is no fighting fate. Plus, Saleem was not allowing Amira to get away a second time.

“You were going to be my wife regardless. The stipulations just added a bit of excitement, but know you were always going to have my last name. In this life and the next.”

I would like to thank BriAnn Danae for the eARC in exchange for my honest review.

I loved it

Although, I wanted to strangle Amira for doing that foolish thing in the beginning. She also got on my last nerves for being so stubborn. But, I truly understood her position. She nor Saleem were read for the next steps. I am so happy they got a second chance...

Second chance

Amira & Saleem's second chance at love and forever with each other was sweet. I gotta say..... I don't get her, what was Amira's problem. I won't talk plot, but I don't feel like the original breakup or the subsequent disagreements were breakup worthy. And I am a recovering runner, A full-fledged track star! I also didn't get the strained relationship between her and her Mom. It wasn't flushed out, just told to us in a few sentences but in contrast we were give a beautifully written viewpoint of the MMC's relationship with his family and friends. Overall they were a cute couple, the dialogue was heartfelt, and the sex was hot. This dude was hubby material, grade A. This was a really good read. Oh and it ends with a HEA.

I love a good second chance romance!

Now I'm not going to lie this prologue had me emotional cause you are immediate brought into Saleem and Amira’s world falling a part. Their journey back together was quite the ride and Amira girl is strict lol. That ending and bonus scene were so sweet! I wish Leerah would have avoided the drama, but I don't fault Amira for her boundaries. I hope they make up! Overall, I love this little series! With each book, I fall in love more! I hope Book 4 is about Najee!

3.5 maybe even 4

Not me having to cheer a man on while also telling him to stand up! As beautiful as this story was, Amira was probably my least favorite FMC of the year. I cut her some slack during her college years because, you know, growing pains and all that. But everything after that? WACK. She lacked accountability at every turn. She was a caseworker in therapy but wasn’t tackling her real trauma, just skimming the surface and blaming everything on the hags in her life. Girl, *be for real*! Those women were unbearable, unkind, and trapped in their own strange dynamic, yet Amira took their words as gospel and let them shape her entire life. And for what? She didn’t even like them! I get that they were all she knew growing up, but at some point, growth is supposed to happen. You’re a grown woman now—college is behind you, your career is settled, life is moving forward in all the ways you wanted—but you’re still moping about missing your man then GET HIS ASS BACK WTH ?
This man was jumping through hoops for her, and what did he do wrong? Love her, support her, provide for her? Meanwhile, her raggedy mom got years to dip in and out of her life despite being *terrible*, but Saleem got smoke just for existing? She left him to “live,” but by “live” she meant being miserable and dissatisfied. Like I’m sorry I hope Saleem had on knee pads cus baby he lived on his knees tryna show that lady he meant business.

Now, let’s talk about that miscommunication trope. It really didn’t hit for me. How do you hear an entire conversation—not a single detail missed—and still come away acting like a woman scorned, cheated on, and harmed? There’s no way I read what Amira heard and believed her solution was to sit on the info, hit the club, and ignore the man’s calls. Saleem should’ve said something out of principle, but honestly, much like the author didn’t really mention Brandi again, neither did he. He was just following her lead at that point. And can we talk about Brandi? Is she still around spreading hate, or did she move on? There was no resolution there, which made Amira’s reaction even more ridiculous.

Amira, a college student breaks things off with her college sweetheart, in what she thinks is a way to protect them both from heartache. She regrets this decision daily. With a chance encounter she runs into Saleem and he has an interest proposition for Amira. This book contains: second change romance & marriage of convenience.

Omg 😆!!!! The first thing I loved about this book and I think should be acknowledged is Saleem being Moroccan and the way the cultural aspects are and what’s expected of a husband. I loved the way she explained that and shows it in Saleem’s character, it was chefs kiss. So much so that when Amira was with Chris she compared him to the things Saleem did for her without thought or needing to be asked.

I am usually not a second change romance girly but this was the perfect way to showcase a great one. Amira was afraid and acted on her feelings but ultimately she allowed time for growth and understanding to grow for both parties.

Saleem was the best version of himself for Amira and I loved how he anticipated her needs at all times and refused to let her over think things for the second time. He left no room for misunderstandings or miscommunication and he was clear on what he wanted while still being everything she didn’t know she needed.
I loved every second of this book and their reconnection.

I also wanna say this was a beauty story without cheating or foolishness and I love that. Their break up wasn’t due to infidelity or some heart crushing reason, and. It’s rare for that in book today.

10’s Across the board. Briann Danae gone do it every time.

BriAnn knows how to write a mf man Danae strikes again! I enjoyed this one. Saleem was 1of1 and I loved this addition to the Evermore Series. This gave me all the feels with the Second Chance Romance trope & the Marriage of Convenience trope as well. I loved seeing these two find their way back to each other and witness their chemistry. I got beef with Amira for playing with my guy like that but I will give her a little grace. Somebody cue Bryson Tilller Intro (Difference)/Let ‘Em Know for my guy because he definitely had to let Amira know he was coming back for good! We love a good second chance story! I recommend this one.

Salesman is tge type of character I always rave about, the leading man who takes charge hence why the author said she didn't want to share him at all. A man whose morals and character aligns with the story so well.

I have to give it up to my girl Amira as she didn’t play about her boundaries. Even though she was young and made some decisions she regretted, she stood by them. Just because you have a history with someone, it doesn’t mean you have to go against your morals to make someone else comfortable.

This was a 10/10

It’s Kismet💕

Amira and Saleem took me on an emotionally charged rollercoaster. Both made valid points regarding their young love and future of their relationship. I literally agreed with the both of them so I wasn’t upset with young Amira, but it didn’t make my heart hurt less for young Saleem. Their story goes to show you that sometimes you have to grow apart to grow together. I love how Saleem stood ten toes down about her and made sure to alleviate any stresses in her life—even after being separated for many years. A woman can only hope to find a love that’s so gentle, so unique to her being, that it makes her question if it’s real. Saleem was the man that most would pray for because he understood and basked in leading, providing, and protecting his woman while catering to her emotional and mental well-being. Top tier okay!

What I will say is that I was sick of Amira running from that man without having a complete conversation. Her flight response was always on. I want to have a word with her therapist because Amira still had some work to do.

Now I would have liked to see some resolve with her and Leerah after the Brandi drama, but that’s only because I liked Lee and Vanna. However, I understood Amira’s stance and loved how Saleem supported it. Don’t even get me started Youseff and what he almost caused—whew parents.

4⭐️ and 2.5🌶️

“No need to keep apologizing. You saved your heart to break mine. That takes some real strength right there, baby. You got it.”

Okay. Amira and Saleem definitely stole my heart and this story is my favorite of the Evermore series so far. What is the saying? Sometimes you "Cut off your nose to spite one's face." Meaning sometimes we needlessly have self-destructive overreactions to a problem. Do I think Amira overreacted because he didn't call at 5:45? A little bit. But do I think she made a good decision by cutting ties because she didn't want to go through this kind of worry with a long distance relationship? Yes. Two things can be true.

I love second chance romances and we add in a marriage of convenience? But was it really? Because she was always going to be his wife. Even though my girl Amira was a runner and a track star. I love that she's in therapy and she needs it for her mom, aunt, and her desire to run at the drop of a dime. Saleem was not going to stand for that though. That man is all about communication. Heavy on the we are going to talk about this!
Not going to hold yall. When Saleem received that envelope. I just knew Brandi was back with some BS.

This was such a cute and beautiful love story. A perfect example of when a man knows, he knows. The epilogue? 😍🧡. I hope we see more of Amira and Saleem in the future. And yall know I am ALWAYS here for my Synovi cameos. 😉

Literally gave me all the feels!! Saleem baby was a MAN!

Not gonna YIE, Amira had me fuminggggg in the beginning. But at the same time I totally got why she made the decision she did. She really did run off of her emotions and it drove me crazy.

Me & Amira are one and the same with our boundaries too. Cause I am the same when it comes to family playing in my face. I don’t be having it at all just like Amira.

Loved this so much! Definitely going to be a book that I can reread over and over again and not only because Saleem really was a top tier man but because I actually really felt seen in some of the parts of Amira.

Fav Part🤎: still paying the phone bill all those years later babyyyyyyy. That’s definitely solidified Saleem up there for me.

This is the best book in the series, hands down, and proof that what's meant to be will be.

Saleem and Amira separate in college off the backbone of young Amira deciding to end things (in my opinion, she was tweaking, but I guess I could understand by the end of the book lol). During this period apart, Saleem never stops yearning for Amira's love and ultimately knows she's the one and vice versa. This is the story of them finding their way back to one another, and I loved watching everything unfold.

Amira, aka Angel Face, is a case manager. "For families and individuals, she advocates for them while helping navigate through their healthcare journeys." This role I believe plays close to home for her, as we see throughout the book that Amira sets boundaries with any and everybody! She did not play games when it came to that, and she even develops stronger boundaries as the story develops with someone who's supposed to be closest to her.

Saleem, aka THAT GUY, is a business owner who owns a juicery that not only turns a profit but helps the underserved communities. This is a small testament to just how selfless this man actually is. I don't even want to spoil all the things this man did that made me be like, we need more Black men like this in books, period. The acts of service, the affirmations, all the love he possessed in his being for Amira. I love seeing men love out loud, and Saleem did just that.

I would highly recommend this book and the series. Black romance is at the center of this story, but it also reflects that not everything about love and the individuals involved is flawless; it's fated.

SALEEM & AMIRA

Another great story by the author. Very well written. Saleem and Amira take you on an emotional journey. Even though things didn't end well during their college years, fate would them back together at the perfect time. Amira was dealing with some parental traumas, but I was glad she decided her happiness was important and those who couldn't accept that, she had to let go. I loved Saleem and Amira's growth and continued love for each other. It is a beautiful story of getting a second chance with the one who stole your heart so many years ago.

Fate may be interrupted but never denied

Of recent I truly enjoy how this author crafts her story. Her story resonates to the heart and soul especially to those that are romantic at heart. Can I state first how much I absolutely adore Saleem? Whew! This story shows how parental influence whether positive or negative can affect their children's outcome and sometimes future. Amira's mom was a hot mess personified and the way she treated her daughter was terrible causing Amira to push away the one person who loved her unconditionally. Yet kismet, fate wasn't having it and a decade later Amira and Saleem happened and their love, their chemistry, their passion were both undeniable and explosive. I look forward to reading more from this author.

So freaking great!

Saleem Saleem just breaks the mold when it comes to everything a woman could want in a man and husband clearly the mold was broken with him and I love that for Amira… Once I got past the prologue I was all in and who doesn’t love a second chance romance… fake not so much because out the gate Saleem let it be known and proven what type of time he was on… BriAnn never fails and always brings the heat… I think Najee should be up next

Amira girl wtf. You broke up with a perfectly good man out of fear? Why? HE’S A GOOD MAN SAVANNAH 🗣️

I can’t say Amira deserved a happy ending… It was hard to empathize with her because of her rash actions/reactions. Even 10 years later, her character didn’t seem to have grown much. She flew off the handle at the first sniff of trouble, and every sniff after. Girl calm yourself! You’re lucky he even wants you back 😂

Saleem loved him some Amira. She could spit in his face and call him out his name and he’d still love her regardles.

Whewwww I don’t know about this one.

The way I was up all night reading this book! 😂🥹

I’m normally not a fan of second chance romances but this one was done right. I loved every piece of this book. I loved the growth shown in both characters and 100% loved how everyone in the evermore series is interconnected. “Seeing” Leerah & Cree.. Synovi and his Love… chefs kiss.

I was in my feelings reading this one but in a good way for sure. Just smiling and giggling 🤭
