The author has definitely had some personal challenges and this is a book about tools that have helped her to reclaim the positive of life. Unfortunately, it felt like I was an observer in her therapy session rather than a book that was going to supercharge my life.

Also, don't read this book if you don't come from a basis of some sort of privilege.

I'm glad the rollercoaster/journey for Hollie is ultimately a positive one.

No hate here but I much preferred her first book and felt like it had more substance to it. This book feels like it was 98% autobiography, 1% no brainer information eg rest and look after yourself and 1% quoting other authors/practitioners. I didn’t gain any new knowledge or actionable tips from reading this so I can’t say I’d recommend it.

Hollie's vulnerability and voice shines thru in stark contrast to what society tells us mothers should be/do, silent, grateful and coping.

This book is both a coping tool for new motherhood and the map back to yourself.

I haven't picked up a personal development book in YEARS. But THIS book, which is so much more than that category, had my full attention and admiration every single page. I felt it to be exceptionally written and easily digestable, giving everyone a chance to "really get it" when it comes to where to even begin or perhaps re-commit on your journey of self-help and healing. Hollie interwined her personal experience and real life (hilarious, deep and captivating) stories with evidence-based guidance, insight and support which was so refreshing. You can tell her teachings are simplified and sustainable >on purpose< which just speaks to the level of embodiment mastered in order to truly do this well. There is no filler or fluff in this book, which I love, you don't feel like any of it is wasting your time with things you already know, because of the way she skilfully delivers her work and message. Aside from all of that, this book captures the heart of my inner child within, reading things I didn't expect or realised I needed to read. Not only did I finish this book feeling truly informed and empowered, it left me feeling so deeply seen and understood. THANK YOU HOLLIE FOR THE GIFT YOU ARE AND THIS BOOK IS TO THIS WORLD!!! <333

I loved this book. It's such an easy, enjoyable read. As a mum with two young kids, I truly related to Hollie's words and that eternal quest of "Who am I?!", all while navigating burnout and exhaustion. I know it will be a book I pick up again and again. Hollie shares so vulnerably throughout and includes lots of expert advice & actionable tips. I felt uplifted, inspired and supported reading this book. I want to gift one to every friend - especially the new mums! ❤️
