If you're looking for memorable, high‑heat romance with darker themes, secret societies, and morally complex characters—and you don’t mind some violent or suspenseful elements—Jacklyn Parker delivers it in spades. Her pacing is fast, the spice is hot, and the characters are beautifully flawed.
Listen, an audiobook with Savannah Thomas & James Cassidy is always going to be an AMAZING time😎✌🏽
Levi & Lucas are twins, and they are looking for a wife👀.. And what better way to acquire a wife then by tricking her into signing a marriage license without her knowledge.
This book was such a fun time & I loved that Tessa could handle both the twins and their different personalities.
I absolutely love the men under reveue series. But I do feel like this book got repeditive in some chapters. And it felt like info dumping at the end with Tessa’s insecurities and her OD’ing. But overall its a great book with fantastic narration.
Listening to the audiobook while reading, James Cassidy and Savanah Thomas have done it again!! A fire performance with the emotion evoked, and let’s not forget about the multiple voices they do to truly bring this story to life!! 🙌🏼 Amazing story created by Jacklyn Parker. I love the plot and how the books can be read/listened to as a standalone and all intertwine too! 🖤 excited to meet the newest MUR wife (and couple)
I am so obsessed with this whole series! And The Gentlemen do not disappoint! Levi, Lucas and Tessa are everything!! I loved their relationship and dynamic so much! The entire book was such a fun, addictive read!
Tessa comes from a world of privilege and is desperate to run away and start over. Lucas and Levi are members of the MUR looking for their future wife. And when their worlds collide, that’s when the fun begins! 😆
Tropes in this one include: 🩷 Poly Romance (Twin brothers) 🩷 Dark dancer romance 🩷 Insta love 🩷 He falls first 🩷 Sassy FMC 🩷 Secret society 🩷 Found family
I HIGHLY recommend this book and the entire series, and I cannot wait for the next MUR book!! 😍
The Gentlemen is hot and add twins and you have the beginnings of an entertaining story. Throw in James Cassidy and Savannah Thomas as narrators and you have yourself a winner!
Levi and Lucas have always done everything together, so why not share a wife? These male Revue dancers really threw me for a loop but I can't say I was disappointed.
Tessa was a bit of a wild card, but her emotional ARC and growth is great! She is someone who struggles with abandonment and it made me very sad for her. Deciding to make changes to her life and get out of the spotlight, she disappears into the crowds of Vegas and ends up working as a cage dancer. Her character has a tinge of Darkness which I loved for her because seriously, what's hotter than a woman who can fight?
This book was emotional, but I enjoyed it very much! Definitely recommend it to anyone who loves secret society reads!
James Cassidy did a wonderful job voicing the boys. He was emotional where necessary, super playful at times and I loved that I could hear it in his voice... and OMG his panting had me panting 🥵🥵🥵
Savannah Thomas was great too, her character was emotional but also a had a few dark thoughts and she was able to portray that so well. I can't wait to hear more by these two narrators!
This book blew me away. I seriously have loved everyone of these books by Jacklyn Parker. It's sexy male revue dancer meets secret society. Throw in a little murder and dubious marriage consent and you have a recipe for a good read and a hell of a ride. In this book we get double the trouble and double the fun. Who doesn't like twins? I mean two for the price of one. Yes, please. Levi and Lucas are just the sweetest. They both love Tessa in ways that she has needed her whole life. The plot in this book was fantastic. I loved that there was some mistaken identity/ she does not know that they are twins. It gave the book an extra kick. Tessa meets Lucas as her true self but thinks he is Levi because of mixed up shoes. Then she runs and hides from public life and meets Levi not knowing he is a twin. She also is hiding her true self from him. There are a lot of different things that happen before all is revealed and they are both in love with the same woman. There is no drama because they share just fine. I cracked up when she finally figured out that they were twins and that they had been pinning for the same girl all along. It was a fantatic reveal. What was even better is when she finds out that she is married to one of them. That is why I say it is more dubious consent. She wants to belong to someone and she never realizes that she has them both. She has a lot of inner demons that she has to work on. I won't go into much more detail because it will ruin the story. Know going into this book that you should check your trigger warnings. This book gets deep and your mental health is important. I can guarentee you will shed some tears but all the tears are worth it in the end. I cannot wait to see where this series is going to go from here. I am so excited to see what else the MUR have in store for us. If you like dark romance, morally grey men, male revue dancers, secret society, and walking red flags this is the book for you.
Lucas & Levi have been searching for their missing piece. Newly appointed owners of Temptations & their nightclub, they have a deadline to find a wife and the MUR isn’t going to wait for anyone.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 🌶️🌶️🌶️
Tropes include: MFM Twin switch Secret society Dancers Celebrity FMC Hard & fast Hidden identity
Tessa, a nepo-baby actress has struggled with loneliness and Hollywood fake relationships her whole life. Never having true friends or family that are there for her unconditionally. So when she finds Levi & Lucas she finds it hard to believe their feelings are genuine. She keeps her walls up and struggles to open up completely.
Tessa’s emotional growth and strength goes through such a transformation throughout this book. She is trying so hard to choose herself, but struggles to let anyone else help her.
Lucas & Levi fall hard and fast for Tessa and their connection is undeniable. They spend every minute showing her just how much they care! She ticks all the boxes!
So if everything is perfect, and they found their missing piece, what happens when something outside their control threatens to break them all?
Another great addition to The Men Under Revue series!
This entire series has been hot and seductive, what could make it better? TWINS, Lucas and Levi. Two sexy, business savvy, seductive dancers, and part of the secret MUR. Both of them on the prowl to find their wife. You heard that right, theirs, ONE wife for them both to share.
Now Tessa, she is a famous star in the big lights, but deep down she was sick of the famous lifestyle. Not everything is as perfect as it seems on the outside. She went into hiding and picked Vegas to be the place to hide.
Tessa met both brothers, but she didn’t even know they were twins, she thought they were the same man. One of them fell in love with Tessa and the other fell in love with her identity in hiding, Evie. I loved seeing how both brothers allowed her to think they were the same man, but both falling for her and pining over the one who “got away.”
This book was full of spice, danger, sexy twins, amazing banter, and a marriage she was tricked into. Who doesn’t love a spicy why choose?
ⓐⓤⓓⓘⓞ ⓣⓗⓞⓤⓖⓗⓣⓢ Savannah Thomas and James Cassidy did such an amazing job on this audio. James had me falling for these guys, he nailed their characters and giving them distinct characteristics. And Savannah, she made Tessa the baddie she is. It was perfection, I couldn’t stop listening.
The narration on this book was fire - total five star voice acting by both narrators The story itself had a strong start, but it did fizzle a bit for me as it went. I wanted more about the secret society, and some parts felt a bit disjointed. Overall it was a decent story with great narration 3.5⭐️
Thank you Blue Nose Audio for this ALC in exchange for an honest review
im so obsessed with this series and then you throw in twins???? OKKKAY. this one was more of an emotional heavy hitter than the others dealing with abandonment. check your triggers. I love our men under revue and the women they looove. dealing with my own issues, this one got me. and I cant wait for the next

📖 Book Review
The Gentlemen is dark, intoxicating, and unapologetically intense.
Our heroine may be an award-winning actress, but behind the glitz of Hollywood is a woman drowning in expectation and illusion. Fame isn’t freedom—it’s performance. And when she meets Levi Castiel, everything shifts.
Levi isn’t just attractive—he’s consuming. Their chemistry is immediate and electric, the kind that steals oxygen and replaces it with addiction. What starts as attraction spirals into obsession, and when the MFM dynamic fully unfolds, the emotional and physical stakes double.
This story leans fully into: • Morally gray, possessive men • Fame-meets-forbidden temptation • Emotional dependency and obsession • High heat with high consequences
Vegas provides the perfect backdrop—neon lights, secret indulgences, and the understanding that every choice comes with a cost. The darker scenes (violent and sexual) are explicit and boundary-pushing, so trigger warnings absolutely apply.
This is not a soft love story. It’s a consuming one.

🎧 Narrator Review
Savannah Thomas captures the heroine’s unraveling beautifully. There’s a polished Hollywood edge to her performance, but you can hear the vulnerability beneath it. She brings emotional depth to the obsession, making it feel raw rather than reckless.
James Cassidy delivers controlled dominance with ease. His tone carries that low, steady intensity that makes possessive lines hit harder. When emotions escalate, his performance doesn’t overplay—it simmers. And that restraint? It makes the darker moments land even stronger.
🎙️ Audio Experience
Together, they create real tension. The push-and-pull dynamic translates seamlessly, making the MFM elements feel immersive rather than chaotic. The chemistry between narrators enhances the obsession at the heart of the story.
⸻
🔥 Final Thoughts
If you love dark romance that blends fame, obsession, possessiveness, and high emotional stakes—with narration that amplifies every charged moment—The Gentlemen delivers.
Vegas always demands a price. The question is whether you’re ready to pay it.

Guys when you're given the opportunity to listen to James Cassidy times TWO, you sign the heck up! This book is one hot little number about two hot twins and one hot girl! It's as simple as that! This story is what happens when you mix two charming men, secrets and a forbidden romance together. These boys try to maintain control in their business, their reputations & their relationships but somehow trouble and temptation follow them around like a shadow. Levi and Lucas are polished on the outside but a bit pandemonium on the inside. But it doesn't stop Tess from being absolutely enamored & drawn to them. These three lit my earbuds up like a high voltage light bulb and I was sweatin people! 🥵
Tess is an award winning actress, surrounded by glitz, glamour & non-stop do's & don'ts. She's over the red carpets & paparazzi and just wants to live a normal, quiet life. She yearns to experience a real & genuine relationship. She decides to take off to Vegas with the hopes she can hide, find a job & live a quieter life unnoticed.
Levi & Lucas have a connection that's wild. Their relationship is addicting, obsessive and all consuming. They have LONGED for the day that they would be able to find a girl who would accept them both as their own. Yep, they want to share her! It's their dream & wish and Tess has no idea what she's in for when she meets them.
These three are honestly addictive in the most unhinged way. The relationship the twins have with each other and with Tess is gripping & exciting in that taboo kind of way! When their worlds collide, that's when things start to get interesting & spicy. It's two for the price of one. 🙊
🎤Let's talk audio: Holy crud! James Cassidy just continues to blow my ever lovin' mind to pieces. His ability to be just slightly unhinged but not enough to raise a red flag messes with my brain. 😂😂 He's extremely talented and so captivating to listen to. His ability to voice twins and various other male characters flawlessly and with such distinction is phenomenal. Savannah sweet & sultry voice was perfect for the character of Tess. She has some very vulnerable moments & Savannah's talent really shined through. Tess has a soft and protective side & Savannah's performance brought that all out. This really is just an all-around fun listening experience. These two have amazing chemistry & the banter is off the charts.
If you're looking for something that's extra spicy with ridiculously talented narrators to go with it, then The Gentlemen is something you need to check out. Two James are better than one. That's the lesson here! 😉
Title: The Gentlemen: Men Under Revue Book #3 Author: Jacklyn Parker Narrators: Savannah Thomas and James Cassidy Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Spice: 🌶️🌶️ Length: 9 hours and 45 minutes Genre: Contemporary “Dark” Dancer Romance Tropes: Secret Society, Why Choose, MFM, Insta-Lust, Mistaken Identity, Obsession, Pierced MMCs, Amazing Wig Physics 😂 Triggers: Twins Sharing Women, Torture, Unaliving, “Forced Marriage”, Thoughts of Self Harm, Self Deleting Attempt, Abandonment (not by MMCs) My thoughts: I will say upfront that I am usually not a fan of a Why Choose story… I see the appeal, but they just aren’t normally for me. However, this one was an interesting and fun take on the trope and I really enjoyed it! Levi and Lucas are identical twins who are VERY good at sharing (if ya know what I mean) and running their Male Revue for the MUR in Las Vegas, a stipulation of that being they have to get married. As usually happens, they are waiting until the last possible minute to do this. When Lucas is on tour for the revue dancers, he meets Tessa, and Oscar winning actress, at one of his shows and there is an instant attraction. The down side being that Lucas wore his brother, Levi’s, shoes with his name on it. Mistaken Identity #1! After a one night stand with Levi (Lucas), Tessa decides to leave her life and go to Vegas to start over. Here she meets the real Levi but not as Tessa. She meets him as Evie Sinclair… Mistaken Identity #2! This was such a fun twist on a twin why choose romance. Almost like a spicy “Parent Trap” in a way. I found the emotional beats really intriguing and the spicy bits very hot! For me, the spice wasn’t as overt, which is strange for a why choose, but the emotional connection and the abundance of nicknames (Princess and Baby Girl had me melting) kept me invested and interested! Savannah Thomas was GREAT as Tessa. She had the sassy bravado that Tessa needed at times while also nailing the emotional and sweet side. Tessa is a deeply alone and self doubting person at times, and I thought that Savannah really nailed that! She wasn’t annoying or grating at all and I really enjoyed listening to her. The real highlight for me though was James Cassidy! He was PHOENOMINAL as Levi and Lucas! I always appreciate when a narrator brings his own spin on things like laughing or sighing or growling/groaning when the text calls for it. It makes the listening experience more immersive, and that is what James Cassidy did. If the text said to yell, he was yelling! If the text had either of the boys to be emotional, he made it believable. You could hear and feel the hurt and sadness and panic and love in his voice! He really did an amazing job! Overall, “The Gentlemen” is a fun and interesting take on a Why Choose romance and a great edition to the Men Under Revue series!! I can’t wait to see where it goes next!
This was not at all what I expected...and I mean that in the absolute best way.
Having already read other books in the Men Under Review series, I went in familiar with the secret-society undertones, the high-heat atmosphere, and the world Jacqueline Parker has created. But The Gentlemen surprised me. Yes, it has the spice. Yes, it has the Vegas male revue energy. Yes, it has that delicious sprinkle of taboo.
But this book leans hard into the heart.
Lucas and Levi, identical twin brothers with only the smallest, most intimate difference between them, are captivating in completely different ways. One connection begins on tour with a whirlwind one-night stand that never quite felt finished. Fast forward to Vegas, where fate brings Tessa face-to-face with the other twin… unaware she’s stepping into something far more complicated than a job audition.
Tessa’s journey hit deeper than I anticipated. A Hollywood starlet exhausted by image, expectations, and perfection, she runs from LA to reclaim herself, only to find that real freedom means vulnerability. I loved that this story focused so much on the emotional connection between Levi, Lucas, and Tessa. The tension isn’t just physical. It’s layered with trust, history, pride, hurt, and ultimately, choice.
Jacqueline Parker has built such a fun, sexy world with the Men Under Review and the secret society thread that keeps you slightly on edge… but this installment felt especially relationship-driven. It’s the perfect combination of spice and suspense and story, with just enough taboo to make you blush while still rooting wholeheartedly for their happiness.
Now let’s talk about the audiobook performances.
James Cassidy is truly a character actor in the way he brings his roles to life. It’s beyond the sound effects we all know and love--it’s the attention to every detail and cue within the text. If the line says sing-song, he sings. If the moment calls for subtle vulnerability under bravado, he acts it. He doesn’t just read, he performs.
To have a co-star who matches that level of commitment perfectly is truly magical. Savannah Thomas’s portrayal of Tessa is layered with emotion, seductive energy, vulnerability, tears, and pain. You feel her exhaustion. You feel her heartbreak. You feel her longing. You feel her strength building. The pairing of these two narrators is truly an audiobook listener’s dream come true.
This story is bold. It’s sexy. It’s suspenseful. But at its core, it’s about choosing to live--fully, bravely, unapologetically.
Intriguing & Alluring! Terrific Story & Narration🎧
The Gentlemen Men Under Revue Book 3 By: Jacklyn Parker Narrated by: Savannah Thomas, James Cassidy
I love checking out new-to-me authors, love it even more when the book turns out to be a gem of a novel, an intriguing story with original storylines that captivated my attention the entire time. This is the third book in the “Men Under Revue” series and is twin brothers Levi and Lucas Castiel’s story, a story that stands on its own. I had no problem jumping into the existing world, never feeling lost or that something was missing. Jacklyn Parker takes you alongside the characters, and the descriptive details show you the world through their eyes, learning it as they do, and how they became members of the “Men Under Revue” and what is required of them. The concept of the secret society added more depth to the story and made things even more interesting. Tessa, a well-known actress, has a steamy encounter with Lucas, who felt an instant with her, but she disappears on him before they could make plans to see each other again. Tessa finds the demands of her life, fame, and constant public attention to be exhausting and something she wants out of, so she does a disappearing act. And under a disguise, she applies for a job dancing at a club in Sin City, and the person conducting the interview is the guy she had a steamy encounter with. The twins have been looking for their forever girl, and each guy found theirs, and their tastes were always the same, but can they get her on board. It was great to watch this story unfold, a multi-layered story that has drama, angst, twists and turns, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. Jacklyn Parker, thank you for this amazing story, a wild and emotional rollercoaster ride.
🎧📚🎧 Savannah Thomas and James Cassidy are the perfect cast to bring the characters to life, giving each a voice that was fitting and believable. Cassidy was fantastic voicing both Levi and Lucas, showcasing each of their personalities, and Thomas did the same as Tessa, nailing it in her role. Their expressive performances conveyed all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling each one. They are entertaining storytellers, and their captivating performance keeps you glued to the story.
Dark, seductive, and completely consuming — this audiobook had me hooked from the first chapter. Listening to this story unfold in audio made the experience even more intense because i can enjoy a why choose.
Tessa is an actress that is tired of being in the spotlight, desperate for something real and keeping her dark thoughts at bay. Before she disappears from the public eye, one impulsive night at a show changes everything when a certain dancer catches her attention. Levi is captivating, mysterious, and impossible to forget… even if she doesnt know that he actually Lucas, his twin brother. When Tessa takes a job at Pulse, a danceclub, hoping to hide, she meets her new boss — Levi. What she doesn’t realize is that Lucas and Levi are twins. And that revelation sets the stage for a dark, emotionally charged MFM dynamic filled with tension, humor, secrets and undeniable chemistry. As she is hiding herself too with a pink wig and another name. There are others that want to claim the men for themselves but you will have to find out if they have the right to claim.
What I loved most about this audiobook was the atmosphere of the story. The narration adds layers of intensity to every glance, every misunderstanding, and every slow burn moment. Savannah and James truly elevate the story. I can understand that Savannah might have giggled with James's parts, i would too if that man spoke to me like that. The roles were made for them. I love Savannah's wit and it showed in her part for Tessa and i do love an fmc that holds her own. James doesnt need much introduction. That man speaks and a woman just swoons. Having him read for Lucas and Levi was a well thought out choice that will be rewarding for this book.
About the story overall, the twin dynamic adds such a unique edge to the romance. The push and pull, the attraction that both men have for Tessa and what they are willing to do for her. It all builds in a way that you keeo listening for the outcome. Beneath the heat and possessiveness, there is vulnerability and depth that made me care about all three characters.
If you enjoy: • Dark MFM romance • Hidden identity and mistaken identity tension • Dancer/club settings • Secret society • A heroine reclaiming control of her life
This one is absolutely worth adding to your TBR. Seductive, emotionally layered, and filled with tension from start to finish — I could not stop listening.

This was a 6⭐️ read! Please check your trigger warnings, your mental health matters! I prefer to normally go in blind.
I have loved the prior two books in this series, The Bloke, and The Stallion, but alas, I have to say that The Gentlemen won my heart! This follows our MMC identical twin brothers Lucas and Levi, and our FMC Tessa.
Levi and Lucas are the owners of the club Pulse, a night club with cage dancers and another floors for more. While Lucas is on tour with The Men Under Review he meets Tessa, a very popular and an awarded actress, and falls for her. Tessa leaves while he's in the shower and runs to Vegas to get away from her life, that she feels does not permit her to be who she really is.
Unbeknownst to Tessa, who takes on the persona of Evie and wears a pink wig, she meets Levi when she applies to be a dancer at their club. She believes Levi is actually the man she met at the show, but it was actually Lucas wearing Levi's shoes. She just thought that he did not know who she is because of the wig.
There is a lot that happens in this book, so you definitely should RUN NOT WALK to get this book and read it! I cannot wait to hear this in audio!
Just some of my favorite quotes:
“You, my princess, are the piece we’ve been missing—the one thing my brother and I have desired so deeply but could never find the right woman to claim the position. We didn’t believe we ever would.”
“I don’t need to act around you.” Switching our positions, I rolled us to pin Tessa on the bed, taking her hands in mine as I interlaced our fingers and slid them along the sheets until they were resting above her head. “Not when you make my life feel more like a dream.” “Just don’t ever wake me.”
“And before you even think it… I do care about my brother’s feelings. You aren’t the first woman we’ve shared, but you are and will be the last.”
Story: 6⭐️ Characters: 6⭐️ Spice: 4🌶️
The tropes:

Every time I read one of these books, I am always surprised by how much I enjoy them. Not because I have any doubt in Parker’s ability to write an amazing story at all. She has proven that she can write amazing characters and stories to the point that I am actually excited to dive into a book that is about male exotic dancers. But these are no simple dancers. The Men Under Review are so much more. The secret society aspect is what has me coming back every time. I was really excited to read this book because I love a why choose and who doesn’t love twins/ mistaken identity. This may have been my favorite book of this series so far. I loved the characters and their interaction with each other. Check the triggers because there are some parts that may not be for everyone, especially if you have an issue with someone not realizing that a set of twins are in fact two different people. This is a dark romance, but the main characters are so perfect for each other and make this such a wonderful book to get lost in.
One of my favorite things about this book is the character of Tessa. I think it is so relatable to have a character that can’t deal with their high-pressure life to the point that they have to disappear from it all. I can’t say I haven’t felt the same at times. I appreciated reading her development and growth throughout the book and how she dealt with the relationship that developed between all three. Levi and Lucas were my favorite of all of the MUR guys I have read. They are twins and their connection to each other is so strong that it makes the eventual relationship with Tessa even stronger. They are both so perfect with her and it makes for the perfect three-person relationship.
I have come to really love the Men Under Review series, and this one is probably my favorite so far. Of course, this book has plenty of spice. What else would you expect when we have a fantastic set of male exotic dancer twins involved? If you haven’t read any of these books, just know that it is so much more than a simple book about a male exotic dancer, or dancers. It has emotion and some action and amazing chemistry between three people.
I knew a dark MFM romance with erotic dancer MMCs was going to be hot.
I did not know it was going to be this hot.
The Gentlemen came in like, “Oh, you thought you were prepared?” and then proceeded to melt part of my brain with dirty talk so good I do not want those brain cells back. They can stay gone. I support their journey.
Tessa is running from the life everyone thinks she should want, hiding who she is, and trying to find one tiny corner of the world that actually feels like hers. Then Levi and Lucas happen. And by happen, I mean they show up with all that possessive, pierced, willing to share energy and suddenly I am over here making questionable life choices in my head.
The secret society, hidden identity, vigilante justice, Vegas dancer world, the “wait, which one was that?” twin chaos of it all, it all made this such a fun ride. I loved that it had plenty of scorching hot moments, but it still gave Tessa space to be messy, overwhelmed, brave, scared, and finally wanted for who she actually is.
And the audiobook? James Cassidy and Savannah Thomas were perfect for this. Savannah gave Tessa that mix of guarded, vulnerable, and secretly ready to burn her old life down. James Cassidy had me fully believing Levi and Lucas were two separate men, not just one narrator doing two voices. The dirty talk, possessive moments, TWINS, spice, and the commitment, I was here for it all so hard.
This was smoking hot, chaotic in the best way, and exactly the kind of audiobook that makes you sit there like, “I should probably be embarrassed by how much I enjoyed that,” and then immediately decide you are absolutely not embarrassed at all. Lets be real if even one of these men asked me to do what they asked of Tessa, I am in so badly.
Dark MFM romance, why choose, erotic dancer MMCs, identical twin MMCs, secret society, hidden identity, fake identity, FMC on the run, vigilante justice, pierced MMCs, possessive MMCs, he falls first, forced proximity, found family, high spice, duet narration.

The Gentlemen is an unforgettable trip full of adventure, banter, spice, and a little well-deserved violence along the way. We meet Lucas and Levi, two MMCs, who are delicious twins with an unspoken bond. They are immensely protective of each other and the important things in their lives. Then Tessa, the FMC, takes us along for a surprise ride as she breaks out of her shell and the 'prim and proper' role she's been stuck in for years. A blessing in her life was the firm, but supportive long-term 'father' figure in Theodore/Teddy. ❤️
This is truly a story following three people as they discover themselves and their destiny in the most unlikely place and situation possible. They really are not that different and simply want to be seen and accepted for who they are even if they come from very different worlds. Lucas and Tessa and Levi and Tessa have an electric spark the moment they lock eyes and their insane chemistry may make you blush in all the right ways because their sexy spice is beyond delicious. I could not stop giggling at Tessa's confusion about Lucas/Levi's differing personalities and reactions to her. Another favorite part was watching Lucas be so drawn to Evie/Tessa, and his giddiness when he realized his intuition was spot on about the two of them.
The draw between Levi, Lucas, and Tessa may appear to only be lust at first, but they had a soul meshing attraction like they were always meant to meet and I could feel their profoundly deep connection in the author's words. As they work on developing their connection, we get a taste of how incredible they can be together as they become a solid support system to each other and pursue a relationship they never knew they would find.
A warning that chapters 41 and 43 definitely had me grabbing the tissues!

🎧 ALC Review – The Gentlemen Written by Jacklyn Parker Produced by Blue Noise Audio
Lucas and Levi Castiel - aka The Terror Twins, Double Trouble, Twinadoes, Chaos & Mayhem - Dancers with Temptations male review. Owners of Pulse Night Club. Members of a secret society. And unlike most brothers, they don’t mind sharing.
Tessa Bradley - Award-winning actress. Hollywood royalty by birth, not by choice. A woman who’s had love ripped away too many times and is desperate to step out of the spotlight and finally live for herself. Her loneliness is palpable. Her strength? Hard-earned.
This cover might make you expect a fun, spicy dance-club romance… and yes, it brings the heat 🌶️ - but it’s so much more. It dives into some heavy themes (please check trigger warnings), balances vulnerability with alpha energy, and delivers a surprisingly emotional punch. The brotherly banter? Elite. The chemistry? Off the charts! And watching these two chaotic men fall first for a sassy, resilient Tessa who matches their energy beat for beat? Chef’s kiss.
🎙️ James Cassidy is absolute perfection as Levi and Lucas. That growly, commanding tone? Yes please. But what really sold me was how he was able to match his voice to their subtle personality differences and softened into their vulnerable moments. 🎙️ Savannah Thomas was new to me and she delivered every layer of Tessa - the sass, the yearning, the quiet desperation - with powerhouse emotion. Together, these performances didn’t just tell the story… they elevated it.

If you’re looking for a romance that brings the heat and the heart — this one deserves a spot in your earbuds. 🎧
My thoughts: This book was incredibly entertaining — and let’s be honest, seriously hot 🥵 Not one but two irresistible brothers, TWINS 🤭 who would move heaven and earth for you? Yes, please. And the banter? Top-tier. I had so much fun listening to this on audio.
Savannah and James brought these characters perfectly to life. Savannah absolutely nailed Tessa’s character. She captured her sass and sharp banter perfectly, her vulnerability.
And then there’s James — wow. The way he differentiated Lucas and Levi was so impressive. Even though they’re twins, he gave them distinct tones, energies, and personalities. You always knew exactly who was speaking without being told. He brought out their charm, protectiveness, humor, and deep emotional bond in such a natural way.
Together, they created incredible chemistry — the tension, the heat, the banter, the softer emotional moments. This is one of those audiobooks where the narrators truly elevate the story and make it unforgettable.
However, I would have loved for the story to portray more of the hurt she felt because of her loneliness, and to provide more background on it, spreading it more evenly throughout the story. I do think loneliness and the pressure of expectations can be so powerful and harmful. This would have made me less blindsided by the overdose and it gave me the feeling that I was missing something, which became more clear after she was saved.
Even so I really had fun listening to this hot and steamy story filled with banter, top tier. And highly recommend going straight for the audio. Think twice before listening to this one in public. Or, like me, maybe you can use it to work on your poker face🤭😂

The Gentlemen is part of the Men Under Revue (MUR) series by Jacklyn Parker. I have been obsessed with every book in this series so far, and The Gentlemen was no exception!
Lucas and Levi are identical twins who have a fierce connection and share everything. Now that they are in the secret society, MUR, they are forced to find a wife, so why not share her too? Insert Tessa, Tessa is a world famous actress who is ready to escape the limelight. When she leaves her comfortable life in Hollywood to pursue something different, she had no idea she would end up with not one, but two husbands! Despite the glitz and glamour of Tessa’s previously life, she still has her own internal demons she has to conquer and Lucas and Levi are ready to support her through it all.
As a why choose lover, I enjoyed the heck out of this book. I was surprised by Tessa’s struggles and heartbroken for her when they got the best of her. That is a testament to never knowing what goes on behind closed doors and applaud Jacklyn for bringing that to life in a raw manner. The dynamic between Levi and Lucas was comical but their love for each other and Tessa was palpable. Jacklyn was able to blend spice, humor and an edge of darkness perfectly resulting in a fun and flirty read with heart.
The Gentlemen is narrated in duet by Savannah Thomas and James Cassidy. I can’t get enough of this narrator duo! Savannah and James complement each other so well, making this already great book even more enjoyable. Savannah captured Tessa’s complex personality flawlessly. Listening to James in any role, I have to do a double take and check that it wasn’t a full-cast. His vocal range is truly impressive. He differentiated the differences between Levi and Lucas’s personality so well!

📝My Thoughts: Ummm, excuse me!? Seriously, why have one hunky hottie who’s a ten, when you can mult by 2!? Yes there’s some insta lust/love in this one, but sometime the chemistry and twin connection is sizzling and progression at 2X speed fits. I feel like this worked for this story and I ate it up. Pair it with male dancers (Men Under Review), secret society, and a touch of murder and darkness, what more do you even need?
Tessa comes from a rich and famous party girl world, but inside she’s really kind of broken and just looking to be loved and seen for who she is. There are a few parts that touch on some difficult topics, so mind the triggers.
🎧 I’m speechless and I believe this hot AF audio melted my brain. These two absolutely crushed this audio! Their performances were full of emotion and heart, bringing depth and intensity to this schmexy story. You could hear every ounce of longing, vulnerability, and undeniable need woven into their delivery, with well timed banter to boot. The pacing was buttery smooth, with perfectly timed pauses that ramped up the tension. They knew exactly when to lean in and when to hold back, and that balance made the chemistry feel absolutely electric and I Loved it!
Huge thank you to Jacklyn Parker and to Iris Influencer Society for gifting me an eARC copy of The Gentlemen to read and review! This will be a spoiler free review and I am rating this book a 4.5 star rating!
The Gentlemen is a MFM, why choose dark romance that follows the lives of Tessa, an actress that just wants to find her own happiness and her own freedom, and the Castiel twins (Lucas & Levi), who both run Pulse nightclub as well as go on tours with dancing. But these boys aren’t just your average every day dancers, they are also part of a secret society.
This is my first book by Jacklyn and I must say that it was absolutely incredible! While it had a lot of spice to it, I did love that it actually had a plot to it that made me curious how it would play out until the very end. I love that Lucas and Levi were two brothers that were created to not let jealousy get in the way. It was a healthy sibling relationship that still remained healthy even after they both wanted Tessa. I loved how protective they were and how they both wanted to keep Tessa as theirs and to help her see the freedom and enjoy the life she deserved. I also really liked Tessa. She was such a spitfire and I loved the mental health representation that came into play with her. After knowing her backstory and learning more about it towards the end, so many things made sense as to why she was the way she is. I couldn’t imagine any better pairing other than Tessa, Lucas and Levi. The three of them were truly meant for each other and I loved cheering for them in this story!
The Gentlemen is a rich, emotionally raw MFM romance packed with scorching chemistry and a gripping plot. This book didn’t just raise the bar—it obliterated it. If I could give it six stars, I would. It’s tied with Lights Out as my top read of the year, and that comparison says everything.
The emotional depth hit hard. Every scene felt authentic and beautifully written. I screamed into my pillow during the spicy moments, giggled at the banter, and cried into my Kindle—thankfully waterproof. Tessa’s journey was cathartic, and her struggles were deeply relatable. Lucas and Levi Castiel are everything: protective, playful, and utterly devoted to her. Their love—fierce, sweet, and unconditional—had me swooning every time they dropped their signature “Baby girl” and “Princess.”
The mistaken identity twist, the secret society backdrop, and the twin chaos were executed flawlessly. Their chemistry wasn’t just hot—it was combustible. The contrast between Lucas and Levi made their dynamic with Tessa magnetic, creating the perfect MFM blend. Pacing was spot-on. The banter was sharp. The plot was addictive. The emotional vulnerability was devastating in the best way. I fell for every character, even the side ones. This book is more than a dark romance—it’s a full-body experience. I read it first as a beta, then again as an ARC, and it still had me in a chokehold.
If you love twin chaos, emotional wreckage, and spice that’ll leave you breathless—RUN, don’t walk. This book is everything.
ALC Review: Duet Narration by Savannah Thomas and James Cassidy
"It felt good to finally have the courage to submit myself to the unknown, well aware that his expectation of me was just that—me, true to my core, unfiltered, unadulterated, and maybe, slightly unhinged."
Tropes: Dark MFM Romance Identical Twins MMCs X Celebrity FMC Emotional Healing Obsession to Love
We are back in the captivating MUR world with a darker, emotionally charged romance. Tessa Bradley may be a successful actress, but the illusion of Hollywood has begun to weigh on her. When she encounters Levi Castiel, an instant and powerful connection sparks—but Levi isn’t the only Castiel who becomes important in her life. As Tessa’s world collides with both Levi and Lucas, their relationship grows into something intense, complicated, and deeply consuming. It was wonderful returning to the MUR world again.
Savannah Thomas and James Cassidy are phenomenal together in duet narration. Savannah delivers a fantastic performance as Tessa, capturing her vulnerability, strength, and internal conflict beautifully. James Cassidy’s portrayal of identical twins Lucas and Levi Castiel is particularly impressive. Each twin feels completely distinct thanks to subtle differences in tone, personality, and emotional delivery. Together, Savannah and James create a dynamic listening experience that pulls you fully into the story.
Huge thanks to the author, Jacklyn Parker for this ALC. I absolutely love this series and can’t wait to see more from this world.
I will tell anyone and everyone who will listen that they should read the MUR series...all of them!
Lucas and Levi-twin tornadoes...and in this case, two are absolutely better than one!! I loved the contrast between their personalities. Lucas is definitely more Golden Retriever, while Levi gives more of a Doberman vibe. I think that's why it's so easy for Tessa to fall in love with both of them; what she lacks from one brother, she gets from the other, and if that's not enough to make you want twin husbands of your own, I don't know what will! I loved their brotherly banter just as much as their flirty banter with AND over Tessa. Their love story was just the right amount of sweet and spicy, just the way I like it!
Maybe it's because of my degree in theater, or perhaps it's because of my own struggles with mental health, but I found Tessa to be completely relatable as a FMC even though she's a celebrity! Jacklyn does an incredible job of putting readers inside Tessa's headspace. Her battle with imposter syndrome and emotional neglect was handled with authenticity and transparency; Chapter 41 made me cry in public... (There is a trigger warning...so make sure you check it-it's important!)
I genuinely can't get enough of the MUR series. Every time I finish a book in the series, I am immediately ready for the next one! I can't wait to see where this universe goes in the next book!
