YPP-234 CONTAGIOUS COUGH FEVER LAST DANCE AT THE END OF THE WORLD ONE FINAL GASP NODDING SEALED IN THE FLU
I love Jackie’s writing style.. the characters are relatable and well developed, the situations are exactly what you see happening if you were put in the same scenario. The research is well done and by the time you’re finished, it feels like you’re leaving behind friends. Highly recommend this author and her apocalypse books! This is an EXCELLENT compilation.
Love this book!! This author is my all time favorite. Anything she writes is good, most are the best!! You will definitely love this book as much as I do.
Ms. Druga masterfully crafts each of the nine standalone novels, immersing readers into a world where a single breath of air can mean the difference between life and death. From biological warfare to natural plagues, the stories in this collection span the gamut of medical thrillers and post-apocalyptic science fiction, with a rich variety of characters that will tug at your heartstrings and leave you breathless.
Highlights of the Boxset: 📖 YPP-234 📖 CONTAGIOUS 📖 COUGH 📖 FEVER 📖 LAST DANCE AT THE END OF THE WORLD 📖 ONE FINAL GASP 📖 NODDING 📖 SEALED IN 📖 THE FLU
Each novel brings its own unique flavor of tension and intrigue, but they all share Ms. Druga’s signature ability to make the stakes feel real. The characters are richly developed, and their struggles are equal parts harrowing and inspiring.
Whether you're a fan of medical thrillers or post-apocalyptic science fiction, this collection is a must-read. Jacqueline Druga doesn’t just write about the end of the world—she makes you feel every pulse-pounding moment of it.
💬 Highly recommended for fans of pandemic fiction and those who enjoy thought-provoking, edge-of-your-seat storytelling.
If you are after a solid collection of pandemic related stories but without zombies or aliens, then this is a healthy selection of novels from Jacqueline Druga. I have posted separate reviews against each novel in the collection.
They are all a little different and the collection provides excellent value for the reader. You will need to put up with some patching editing (wistful shake of the head), but it never gets so poor that the works unreadable.
There are some instances of questionable science, but at other times things are just so real - it will depend on the novel and possibly (but I have not checked) when that novel was written.
There are a wide variety of different characters and circumstances to through yourself into - even if there are from time to time characters with issues or baggage. The author is certainly capable of generating characters with a degree of depth.
This was enjoyable collection of novels to work through.
This was a long read and yes, there were a lot of grammatical errors but that does not take away from the stories. I think every one of these stories touched me and had me crying. You outdid yourself Jacqueline Druga! As soon as I finished the last book in this series, “The Flu”, I bought its sequel, “The Flu 2; Healing.” I can’t wait to get started on it.
This had me in tears. I got to know all the characters in the stories. I was right there with them going through their experiences. Some day we might have to deal with this in our Country. God help us.
I cried,, I laughed! I loved every one of them.. Very well written. But quite a few grammar errors and mix ups of names. Great books Excellent author Highly recommend
Compelling, each of the 9 stories. Frighteningly realistic. When you see how fast something deadly can eradicate most of the population. Few spelling mistakes but not enough to distract from the stories. Loved it
Oh my Lordy … This brick of a book had 9 different stories about viral outbreaks. All of them so good. The last two made me cry so hard…. Left me a wreck… Such a mess! But on the flip side the humour had me laughing out loud! This is the first book I’ve read of Jacqueline’s but I will be reading more of her work. She is really rather good!
The stories were entertaining in a b grade way but there were so many typos throughout, particularly in the first book. This author has published so many books. Surely they can afford an editor.
