Willow Jenkins' story of a girl gamer in a taco truck who first finds dragons, and then finds herself, comes to its epic conclusion.
Anail, the third and final dragon steps forward to teach everyone the lesson they will need to win the war with the regime. The only female dragon, and the only one yet to fly. What is the Elemental Dragon going to show everyone? Will the other two dragons, Eamon and Lasair, combine forces with the smaller, green dragon?
The band of gamers are back with a strategy they hope will even the odds against the large regime. Norman and Willow's grandfather, Lucas have a plan of their own, just in case.
Will her new love, Harry the Borrower survive what comes next? The older Borrower, Mercy knows more than she's saying and may hold the key to bringing everyone together.
Hidden operatives, one last grimoire that holds the darkest secrets, a magical fuel that could destroy everything, and a ritual in the game shop to change it all. Save the alchemist, save the world or is there a different ending?
I’ve always liked Willow all throughout this series. Her relationship with Harry picks up a bit throughout this book. Willow is learning to work together with her friends instead of thinking she is alone and has to do everything herself. She also is learning how to connect herself, Harry, and others for their magics to work together. I do like the fact that the story line doesn’t just talk about Willow, but also her other allies and also her parents struggles to get back to Willow and the family. I like how they get ready to kick the regime‘s butt.
Unexpected Willow and the team are in the final stretch…and there are lots of lessons still to learn. Losses and gains all the way through and many battles… I didn’t didn’t see the ending coming….definitely unexpected! Think the end could have given more closure…but not sure if there may be more to come…..
This story is so full of revelations. Continuing the fight against the Regime, Willow and her friends find new allies and their challenges grow. I love Anail the most of all the dragons, I think. She is so warm and loving.
The characters Believable And relatable. each personality what you'd find in real life but with the addition Of magic . The dragons like your favorite pets only with abilities. Couldn't stop reading.
Sorry to hear about your challenges, praying that things go better. Proof readers missed a few things, just enough to jar me out of the story. Hoping you'll find more in this story line.
Excellent end to the series. I loved the characters (especially the dragons). Anail is my favorite dragon, along of course with my favorite human Willow, and the storyline, action, and magic definitely kept my eyes glued to the pages to see how it would all end. Looking forward to more stories by Martha Carr.
