Fire and Ice was such a sweet and adorable read it completely stole my heart. I absolutely loved Jacinta Tang and Wes Allan. There's just something so special about a friends-to-lovers romance when the characters have literally grown up together, and this book delivered that perfectly. They started out as skating partners when they were kids, and I loved getting little glimpses of their friendship through the years and seeing how that connection slowly turned into something more.

I also loved that the setting is in Canada. It made me feel more connected to it. And getting to see the characters chase their dreams while staying connected through the years was something that really pulls at my heart. One thing I also appreciated was how much they both valued their families. It added so much heart to the story and made them even more lovable. Even though it's a short read, I could really feel the love and care they had for each other. Their story was tender, heartfelt, and left me with all the warm and fuzzy feelings.

A cute, quick read that gets straight to the point without unnecessary fluff. The story is charming and easy to breeze through, making it perfect when you want something light but satisfying. I also loved that it takes place in Canada—it added an extra layer of warmth and familiarity to the setting. Overall, a simple, enjoyable read.

I loved Jacinta and Wes! They were great, nature, friends to lovers trope.

Their story was short, but their funny challenges with food, their endurance to share, and their kisses were lovely!! ☺️

So many good quotes!

lol 😆 I couldn’t pick just one.

But lol 😆 I did want to look up red crab sorbet or red crab treats after this novella

No spice, all romance

For only 58 pages I was very emotional invested in this romance, in a small amount of time they built a great emotional connection too the two characters!

However there was one scene with a fortune tell that just didnt fit im with the story line, it was very random and ruined the flow, and i felt was just add in so it could be referenced / segway into the next books

This was a cute short small town romance. It got straight to the point. I found since it was so short that there wasnt alot that changed for the characters but I think it will be a good beginning to the series.

Im here for the vibes, even for a short read! The intense life of professional sportspersons, childhood friends - second chance romance, and the close knit family connection are really vibing 🙌.

Short but packed full of history between these two. I could practically feel it. I loved how they'd do anything for each other.
